The Torras Cyber does exactly what it says and well. For both heating and cooling it does the job. The device provides direct and indirect cooling and heating. Since it is at your face and neck, and more than just a fan, the sensations are immediate. It’s lightweight, 1.09lbs, and can accommodate a range of neck sizes with its flexible arms. The 6000mAh battery works as long as stated and you can use it while it charges as long as it’s not completely dead. It needs a few percent in the battery. The feel is good and it doesn’t interfere with your movement. I was able to roll and move my neck as needed with it on. The app give precise control, but even with out the app, you have a good range of options. The LCD screens on the left and right give you all the information you need about its status. It comes with the device, a carrying case, a USB-C to USB-C charging cable, and instruction pamphlets. The device is simple to put on, just sit it on your neck, it adjusts as needed. The device has 3 modes, heat, cool, and fan only. It can also further break down the areas into zones. You have front and rear for the fans and pads. The device has two buttons for control, and a USB-C port for charging. App control is done through Bluetooth. For all settings you can just use the buttons, it’s a simple interaction. The power button turns on the device and cycles through the present power settings. The mode button lets you change between heat/cool/fan settings. The presets allow you to select 30, 60, and 100 percent settings. This will be for both the rear, back of neck, and front, sides and front of the device. The device has both fans and direct contact pads for heating and cooling. Together they work incredibly well. The right color LCD indicates blue, green, or orange for cool, fan, or heat. The right side indicates battery, Bluetooth, and mode states. The app allows you to connect and precisely control power levels for the front, back and pads. It also allows you to access advanced modes for automatic heating and cooling. I connected with an Android phone. I had to clear the pairing history before it would connect. You will also have to allow location, but it’s not needed for continued use but is needed to access the device again. Noise will be the biggest issue in using the device. I could hear people and they could hear me fine, but at the highest settings you will have to raise your voice. But, at the 30% setting you can talk and hear normally. If you turn it down to 5% the pads still heat and cool with great effect, while there is no noise at all. But, the fans do add a lot to the heating and cooling effects. You can also use the app to adjust the side and rear fan sections to achieve a balance in noise verse temperature control. The pads give nice heating or cooling directly on your skin. Never too hot or cold. The device lasted 2h 45m on 30% cooling from a full charge and took 3hrs to recharge with a regular 2.5a charger. It can use a 20w charger to fast charge. I used a portable battery charger and was able to confirm the faster charging was possible. With 30% being a good setting, the use times listed are good, the battery is big enough to last a long time. Although the product shows people using it hot and sweaty conditions, I do not see an IP rating and the instructions say to avoid “rain, liquid or moisture”. I would not use it during strenuous activities, but after. Plus, you don’t want something moving around on your neck if you’re moving a lot. For walking, or additional heating or cooling it should be great. At conventions in large halls with a lot of people this should be perfect. I see a lot of people wearing simple fan cooling and saying they help a lot, and this is far above that with active heating and cooling possible. Read the manual for health and safety warnings. Overall, this works great, and I plan to use it as the days get warmer. Cold or hot the position of the vents to put air down your back and to your face coupled with heating/cooling pads is a great effect and makes the air make you feel better.

The TORRAS - COOLiFY Cyber Ultimate cooling fan is much more than the name reveals. Unboxing, Features and First Impressions: The COOLiFY Cyber Ultimate IS the ultimate configuration, and one will notice this immediately upon open the product packaging & putting hands on the storage case and unit. The design is sturdy feeling and heavier than one might expect, but upon wearing it - its balanced design distracts against any perception of heaviness. Admittedly, this is highly subjective. The unit charges very fast on a 60W brick (not included) and with an appropriate cable. The clamping force when wearing the COOLiFY isn't bad at all and works fine for me & the wife. Another highly subjective area. The onboard LCD display is basic but functional. The buttons & display limit the granularity of the settings, and I would recommend loading up the mobile app right away. With the app, the controls are more precise (smaller steps of individual settings) and you'll want to do this anyhow - because it's the only way to check & apply firmware updates. There are also 4 primary modes to the COOLiFY Cyber Ultimate you can only get at - through the app: Auto mode, ECO mode, Alternating mode and Relief. There is also a higher-level Ai mode, a timer function, a Favorites tagger and of course - a Power On/Off button. Be prepared to have the mobile app throw you error messages relating to Bluetooth pairing functionality. That handshaking process takes several seconds to overcome after powering on the unit and/or waking up your mobile device. Unfortunately, the app groups multiple reasons behind the error pop-up and I find this to be sloppy/lazy S/W engineering. Performance: The unit can be used just as a fan (air mover), a highly effective cooling unit and a heater - and all the primary modes I tested work as defined. They work really well in fact. The issue I have with the COOLiFY Cyber Ultimate is that the Relief mode doesn't work as I expected, and it actually seems worthless or ineffective. Not too sure about the Alternating mode either. I really don't see the point. Battery life can only be so good for something this size, so be prepared to be charging this unit a lot. It does charge quickly, so at least there's that. Pros: Appealing design esthetics Comfortable to wear, with rounded edges where it matters & balanced weight Minimal onboard controls & display that do the job Great air movement across all the speeds Excellent heating & cooling performance Awesome that it comes with a robust storage case and not just a cloth pouch Well-rounded mobile app that isn't overly complicated Cons: Some fluffy built-in "modes" that seem pointless IMHO Clunky Bluetooth handshaking lag and related notifications Summary: Even with my stated cons, I only derated the review by one Star. All that said, the sheer performance, build quality & capability of the COOLiFY Cyber Ultimate 'neck conditioner' makes this a Recommend buy!

This product is surrounded by an amazing amount of marketing jargon and what I can only assume are made-up words ("surround cooling powered by Coology system with smart KU 3.0 chip") to describe simple things ("digitally controlled fans"). At first, I was skeptical of all of this, but I’m very glad I gave it a try: this thing is virtually magical in its ability to provide personal cooling and heating. OK, so it’s fans that sit around your neck. They’re well-crafted to be quiet and efficient, and they’re placed to offer a gentle—or not-so-gentle—breeze around the face and neck. But the magic is from three thermoelectric cooling panels, evidently layered with graphene which helps evenly dissipate heat. The inside of the collar responds nearly instantly when the thing is switched to either cooling or heating mode, changing several degrees in a matter of seconds. Because of its position, it can make the entire body feel warmer or cooler. When it’s operating in cooling mode, exhaust ports help move excessive heat out the sides and away from the body. The device has two buttons on it that let you control basic operations, but the smart phone app (no cloud connection or registration required) gives you more granular control. I also like using the app simply to see what’s going on, because without it I’d have to take the thing off to look at the indicator panels on the sides. With the app, two zones can be controlled separately: sides and back. Each zone can be set to heat, cool, or fans, with an intensity level from 0 to 100. There are also “AI Smart Modes,” but I haven’t figured out what those actually do yet. I find that I particularly like the heat mode because it gives me a therapeutic targeted heat if my neck is sore after a long day. Cooling or fans is nice to use over a longer period of time if it’s just a little warmer than comfortable while I’m working at my desk or around the house. It seems to be pretty efficient. The battery is big enough to provide hours of work, obviously depending on what mode it’s in. A few negative points: At over 1 pound, the thing feels heavy when I pick it up. It is well-balanced and doesn’t feel like a burden when I’m wearing it, but I wouldn’t want to do any particularly physical activities that would get it bouncing around. Similarly, it is bigger than I think it should be. The sides of the collar extend quite a bit beyond my neck. I understand one-size-fits-all, but it seems like it's designed for someone with a 25” neck. I might be missing something, but I think it would be just as effective if not moreso if it were a few inches smaller. It works well when I’m standing or sitting. If I lay down, I’ll end up blocking some of the vents. This is fine in heating mode (the fans don’t run) but otherwise it’s not going to work well. In the dozen or two hours I’ve used it so far, the fans have developed an occasional slight rattle—minor for now, but disappointing for the long-term durability of the device.

    An Almost Perfect Personal Cooler

THIS… is the Torras Coolify Cyber Ultimate and a high end entry into the personal comfort / around the neck style fan/heater with a lot of promises! From high speed natural airflow and ‘cooling particles’ to chill you off to heating elements to keep you warm and wrapped in a premium price tag, I have high expectations for Torras! That being said, lets crack the box open and take a look. Opening the Torras Cyber Ultimate I was honestly really excited with how it was presented! How often does the unboxing aspect of a premium product feel premium anymore? Unboxing the Cyber Ultimate I felt like I just bought something truly awesome and I haven’t even put it around my neck yet! The Cyber Ultimate comes in its own carrying case and comes with its own type C braided cable (nice!) to charge it with, and it supports 20w fast charging to get appx 80% charge in about an hour and a half. Something I noticed right away was how interesting it felt holding the cyber ultimate as the neck section and both flanking arms of the U collar flex at a rubber grommet hinge on each side… if this sounds weird.. It is weird! But not in a negative way, but in a ‘haven't seen this before’ kind of way. Turning the Cyber Ultimate on I am greeted with a small screen on the right arm showing the mode/setting and the battery life on the left arm in a tasteful fashion. The cooling power is almost instantaneously noticeable to the touch as the ‘cooling pads’ are really actually cooler than ambient and I haven’t even turned it on its cold setting yet. Putting on the Cyber Ultimate was very interesting as I truly didn’t expect it to A: put off this much air and B: be able to cool me off this well. I mean my gaming room really does cook after about an hour or so but I really didn’t even notice the heat. While it does perform well in this environment, I don’t know that it would fair well if I had to run with it on or do anything too active as it does bump around my neck a bit as I walk with it. Something I wanted to note though is that it does have two zones that you can control the cooling/heating on as the back of the neck is different than the arms that go out around your neck. I enjoyed putting the back of the neck in a heating mode and the arms around my neck in a cooling mode which honestly.. Almost put me to sleep! The Cyber Ultimate is controlled two ways, the first being the button on the side of it which I found to be just alright and less precise than I would want or by using the App. The app is a fantastic way to control the Cyber Ultimate, but it isn’t the easiest to use which is my biggest gripe about the Cyber Ultimate… its great when it CAN be great. For as awesome and straight forward the unboxing was, the setup was in broken English and the app is very basic. It has an AI ‘mode’ but has no description of what it does or how to use it, the app allows you to save a favorite profile but it never stick and connecting to the app was just a bit more hassle than it needed to be. It leaves me a bit confused as the notes and initial paperwork for the Cyber Ultimate are in perfect English but it seems like a different team wrote and made the manual and app which is a bit disappointing. All in all, this is a fantastic neck cooler and heater, though I don’t think it will help you in extreme heat, and it didn’t warm me up too much at a cold soccer game… but it does have its place! I think that at this premium price, it does deliver where you need it too… it just leaves me wanting more than it has to give at this point in time and thats the reason I docked a star on it. The perfect product is already in my hand, I just need the software and instructions to back it up. That being said, Best Buy has an excellent return policy and even better customer service, so you never have to worry about being stuck with the Cyber Ultimate if it just doesn't cut it for you! So there is no harm in testing out to see if the Torras Coolify Cyber Ultimate is right for your lifestyle. Until next time :)

When I first decided to try this out, I have to admit I was skeptical. There are a lot of “neck cooling” things out there that range from cooling bandanas to small fans. Most seem more like a gimmick than something that would actually keep you cool. After using the COOLiFY for a week now, though, I can see it’s in a different class. I think it’s really going to help me stay cooler this summer. I live in the south where it can get crazy hot and humid in the middle of summer. The humidity factor essentially eliminates any kind of evaporative cooling (like the wet bandana). The COOLiFY, though, produces its own cooling electrically. Putting it around your neck is like having an ice pack that stays cool as long as the battery lasts. It also has fans on the sides and back to blow air against your head. You can select either the side, back, or both at once. On those sweltering days outdoors with no wind, this will be very nice. Indoors, I’ve noticed the side ones can sometimes dry out my eyes, so then I just turn those off but keep the fan on the back of my head going. At the middle speed setting or higher, the noise does become a factor depending on what you may be doing. This time of year, we haven’t had any super-hot weather, yet. But testing it outside on some 85 to 90 degree days it has worked pretty well. Like everyone knows in the wintertime, you lose a lot of body heat from your neck and head area. Having this cool pack around your neck in the summer heat, then, is an efficient way to get rid of body heat to cool down. On days when it’s not too hot outside, if I’m out exercising it doesn’t feel too bad. But then when I come in the house it always seems way hotter until I can cool down to a normal inside temperature. When that happens, I’ve put the COOLiFY on and it definitely helped cool down a lot faster. I also want to mention that it is reasonably comfortable to wear. It might look a little funny, but it’s comfortable enough that I mostly forget I’m wearing it. It stays in place really well, too, even when I’m working outside moving around a lot. It seems to keep a pretty good grip on my skin without being uncomfortable. I’ve only talked about cooling so far, but it also does provide heat. I don’t know how much I’ll use that, but it’s a nice option to have. It does get quite warm and I could see where that would feel good on a blustery winter day. For changing modes and adjusting settings, you can do pretty much everything using the power and mode buttons. But the quickest and easiest way to change the settings is to use the app. I have a Samsung Galaxy phone and the Bluetooth connection has worked flawlessly for me so far. When the COOLiFY is around your neck, the most convenient way to make adjustments is to just pull out your phone rather than take it off your neck. I haven’t used it for an extended period of time yet (more than an hour) but based on that I expect the rated 2.6 hour cooling time on the lowest setting to be accurate. It has a 6,000 mAh battery, but if you need more time, you could get an external power pack and charge it even while you’re using it. I’m really looking forward to having this through our 100-degree days this summer. The older I get, the less I seem to tolerate the heat, so every little bit of cooling will help. Time will tell if it holds up to daily use, but it does have a 180-day warranty that you can extend to one year by registering at the TorrasLife website.

The Coolify Cyber is basically a neck fan, but levels above most of the other similar devices out there currently. Usually, a neck fan wraps around your neck in a U-shape, and blows air onto your neck and head area, and is usually room temperature at best. Some allow you to put cool water in them which helps cool the air down for a little amount of time. The Coolify Cyber uses a processor and various materials such as “cooling particles” and a high-temp tolerant graphene material that allows the air to feel much more chilled than traditional neck fans. If you want, via the mode button on the Coolify, you can use just a fan, but you can also set it to actually cool on three levels, and I was shocked at how cool this feels. Full blast is STRONG and we happened to have an 85 degree day, and the Coolify felt great outside. The fans can blow from the sides or the back, upward, and along with the cooling elements it covers a wide area of your neck and head when in use. There is also a heating element that will warm up the device if you need heat, but it doesn’t really blow warm air out – it just warms up like a heating pad along the back and/or sides. Even the low level of heat is very warm. At the highest, it’s HOT, so start off on low at first. A shut-off timer is available via the modes or app, as well. The device itself is simple. Just a USB-C charging port, and the power and mode buttons, essentially. If you fiddle with it enough you can figure it out on your own, but there is a card included with a QR code that takes you to the Coolify site with some instructions and a short video. I found documentation to be lacking for this. I really would like to see a printed quick setup guide in the box (mine had none), as even on the site you have to dig around a bit to really get a full grasp of all of the features and how to use them. A printed guide would sort out confusion quicker. You can download the “Torras” app that once synched up via Bluetooth, will allow you basic controls over temperature, strength, and whether you want the air flow to be from the back, sides, or both. I’m not sure why, but I can’t find access to the heat feature on the app but I may be missing something, but it’s available via the mode button on the device easily. Battery life is good if you use the cool setting on lower speeds, which is still cool. Once you crank it up to full the battery will of course drain quicker. Using heat drains it even more quickly as heat always requires more power. A full 100% charge from zero once I drained it down takes about 2 hours. I haven’t had it drain fully in the short time I’ve had it so far, and the 6,000 mah battery is a pretty good size. You can charge it while using it, but the charging cable is a bit short, so you’ll need to buy a much longer USB-C cord online to be able to do that. When not in use, it can be stored in a very nice included case that’s the same shape as the Coolify, and it fits inside perfectly. My only real complaint, and it won’t have an effect on everyone, is comfort. I have a large neck. Obviously the sides open and close a bit to fit a variety of neck sizes, but if you have a large neck, it may still feel quite tight. I can use this for a limited amount of time, but after a while it feels very constraining and a bit uncomfortable, especially if reclining. The Coolify is not a small device as it is, and while it’s not heavy, It’s not feather-light either, so that with the snug neck arms would make this too uncomfortable for me to wear all day or for many hours at a time. Again, everyone’s neck is different, though. Overall I like the Coolify Cyber, but I do have some mixed feelings. It’s well built and sturdy, and has a great ability to cool you down, and even offers the heat option if you want it. It’s definitely not inexpensive, though you do get a lot for what you pay for it. The comfort level, for me, isn’t a high point, so for people with larger necks I probably would not recommend it. For those who have smaller necks and budget, I’d say give it a try at least. It’s definitely a higher level than ordinary neck fans.

I want to start by saying, I never believed that a "neck cooler" would actually cool you down. And in a way, it's still true. My house's top floor is hot, it's significantly warmer than my main level and basement. Also during the summer months my daughter plays soccer and if you're a parent you know what it's like to suffers the heat for your kiddo, it's rough. So for me, there were multiple problems that this product was gonna solve. I'll start by the upstairs, I'm a bit stubborn and don't wanna turn on the AC at this point in time. Here in Colorado, it's like 60s and can get almost the 80s this time of year. My upstairs however will stay at the days 'high' until nearly 10 PM before it starts to drop. When testing this unit, my neck felt cold and sure it made me feel like I was cooler, but it wasn't as big of a "WOW" as I was hoping. After about say 30 mins or so, I did eventually feel cooler, to the point, I stopped remembering the heat and so yes, it worked. But it wasn't until I combined this with my standard fan that it really shined. What I mean is, while laying in bed, I turned on the Coolify Cyber, and had my 10 inch fan blowing air on me and I IMMEDIATELY felt significantly cooler than if I were to just use the Coolify by itself, or using the fan by itself. It felt like AC was blowing all over me. It felt so much better in the heat! It was kind of crazy! Needless to say, that was game changing for me. It isn't summer yet so I couldn't test it on a 100 degree day, but going on a jog this did help me feel cooler than had I just went on a jog without anything. How does it fit? It fits well! It is snug, and I felt comfortable going on a jog with it on. Does it actually cool? It does! It's not just a fan, there's cool mode, where the pads actually get cold! I don't know how they're doing it, but it works. There's also a fan only mode, as well as a heater mode. The heater mode is subtle, and I'm assuming this is so it doesn't over heat the battery or burn your neck. It does come with an app and the app is well built, in terms of reliability, but the iconography is really bad. It looks generic, and feels cheap. The runtime is really good. I'd say it loses about 1% of power ever 15 mins of run time? For me the charging is slow though. It's kind of an overnight charge situation. After my time with this, I can easily recommend it for anyone looking to stay cool. It really does work, it really does get cool, and it's not just a personal fan, it's a personal AC unit really. I'm happy with it!

TORRAS - COOLiFY Cyber Ultimate Cooling Portable Neck Fan, Cooling, Heating, and Fan Rechargeable with 6000mAh, Neck Cooler. The Torras -Coolify Cyper is a little heavy in your hand at 17 oz, but around your neck, it is not really noticeable and is quite comfortable. It has a nice futuristic design. I have used several different Neck coolers in the past, and I even had a Motorcycle helmet with a thermoelectric cooler built in, but this is one of the best implementations of an advanced form of this technology that I have ever used. The unit can be controlled by the buttons on the side, but the best way to control it is with a Bluetooth app on your phone or tablet. You can control the zones with an option for the back area, the sides or all three. You can select fan, heat or cool. And it has a favorite setting, timer, and Ai-mode (Auto, ECO, Alt3rnating, and Relief). Relief mode switches between hot and cool, going through different zones to help remove stress and soreness. I loved the sensation of the cooling jets around my neck with this neck fan. It uses a graphene carbon material that conducts cold (or warmth) for direct transfer to your body, not just with the fans. My wife suffers from a stiff neck and aching shoulders and actually found that the warming function provided similar relief to something like a heating pad. Their advertising material states: “Next-generation KU 3.0 chip works together with industry-leading Coology system, in which 366 cooling particles are strategically placed to cover an expansive surface area of up to 23.2 in², along with high-temperature graphene to deliver invigorating freshness to the head, neck, and back. An immersive cooling experience. Multi-Directional High-Speed Natural Airflow-Operating at high speeds of up to 7,200 RPM, the device generates aerodynamic airflow, ensuring a powerful cooling effect but also ultimate comfort from seven different directions.” And they live up to their data. With an approximate run time on the battery at about 2.5 hrs at the highest setting, it is advantageous that the unit can be worn during charging, though a charging brick is optional. Most people have 20-watt brick already. It got up to 100 degrees already and I found it did a great job at keeping me cool. The fan noise is much quieter than other devices that I have used, and I didn’t find it objectionable, especially with the advantage of keeping me cool. I also used a portable battery recharger to supplement the power on the unit since I have several for traveling with mobile devices. This is a little on the pricey side, but considering the technology involved, it is quite reasonable. It is a great performer, and as stated, it outdoes my expectations. It did generate some conversations when I was wearing it in public places.

    Awesome Cooling and Heating Device

The TORRAS – COOLiFY Cyber Ultimate is a great personal cooling and heating device. • Packaging – It comes nicely packed with a hard cover carrying case and USB-C charging cable; although, no charging brick is included. • Device – Sleek shiny black with a small LCD screen on the side. The finish does show fingerprints so make sure you have a microfiber towel to wipe it down. I would like to see a matte black finish in future iterations. • iOS App – The TORRAS app is easy to setup. First, it asks you to create an account. I found it interesting that the default method was of combination of phone number and password with a required confirmation SMS code. At the bottom of the login page is a “more login methods” section which includes email and Apple ID alternatives for account creation. Once the account is created you click add device. The COOLiFy Cyber showed up and paired immediately. I didn’t even need to put the device into a pair mode, just simply have it powered on. Of all the times I have needed to pair a device with an app, this has been one if not the easiest to do. Within the app are several customization settings including fan activation (all, front only, back only) as well as temperature control (cool, fan, and heat). There is also a favorites section, timer, and AI smart mode (with options such as eco, alternating, and relief). Overall, the app compliments the device well. • Temperature – It does a phenomenal job at both cooling and heating. I have a “highly recommended” competitor’s neck fan and the TORRAS blows it out of the water with its cooling ability. The Cyber gets super COLD and feels great. On the other end of the spectrum, its heating capability is excellent, maybe even a little too excellent on max settings. It feels like you have a portable heating pad on your neck. • Usage – The product weighs just over 1 pound which I don’t find overly heavy, especially for its size. It has a nice ergonomic shape and is comfortable with prolonged use. The fan lasts about 2-2.5 hours with continuous use, but this varies depending on the fan speed. It does have 20W fast charging capability that reportedly allows the device to go from 0%-80% in 1.5 hours; however, I have not tested this claim. I instead have been charging it overnight, so it is ready to go the next day. I have mostly been using this when I wear my VR headset and it makes a huge difference keeping my head and neck cool. • Warranty – Seems subpar at only 180 days parts and labor. For the price I would expect at least a 1-year warranty if not longer. Overall, I really like the TORRAS – COOLiFY Cyber Ultimate and think it is a great device. I highly recommend.

I've had a few of these neck worn cooling devices over the years - and all of them have gone to the trash bin. The Torras is the first I've seen that offers heating as well as cooling. Unboxing the Coolify (I think they could've worked a little harder on the name!), the packaging is super premium - the box and carry case outweigh the item itself! The carry case is hard shell - most items of this type just come with a soft bag. The unit came with a half charge, there is no wall adapter, it charges through a USB cable, which is provided. Took about an hour to bring it up to full charge, so I could begin checking it out. There are only two buttons on the device itself, an on/off and a mode change. Downloading the app provides a far greater degree of control. There are two color LCD screens, one on each arm of the device which gives you a visual of the current mode of operation. Placing the device on my neck, it is somewhat heavy, but balanced very well. If you look at the photos, you can see the rubberized area which is what supplies the flex for fitting. I found it to fit snugly without giving a feeling of being throttled, which is what I've felt with some previous neckband devices. I first tried the cooling mode, within a minute or two it provided a nice chill to my neck. It's most pronounced on the back plate itself, however, it also provides a breeze through the top vents. Fan speed is controllable through the app. Switching over to heating mode, the unit responded rapidly, providing a gentle warmth through the backplate, and warm air coming through the top vents. As you would imagine, heat requires a lot of energy; I wore the unit for about an hour, and it still had charge left in it. Of course, a lot of this depends on the specific settings. Unfortunately, we're in mild weather at the moment, I'm looking forward to putting the Coolify through its paces while gardening in the heat of summer. Alternately, I can envision myself slipping this on before going out to tackle some snow blowing. Overall, the unit seems to be very well constructed, I'm expecting to get a lot of use out of it this summer.

The TORRAS - COOLiFY Cyber Ultimate Cooling Portable Neck Fan is one of the more interesting products I’ve reviewed during the year. It’s a fan for your neck that also heats up and can be controlled by your phone via Bluetooth with the TORRAS app. Sure, it’s an expensive way to cool down your neck, but for some people it’s going to be the best thing they’ve ever used, because it works. The product draws air in and then actually cools it fairly well before shooting it back out all around your neck. How it does this is all packed away behind technology that I don’t fully understand, but can appreciate. You’ll get to play around with the fan speed slider, 3 modes of operation, and 3 locations of operation. You can just use it as a passive cooling fan, turn on AC mode or even set it to heat up, which shuts the fans off and just allows the product to warm up your neck. The Bluetooth synced up fine with my phone and the TORRAS app works well enough, although it’s pretty rudimentary and rough around the edges. Also, some modes are only accessible through the app, as far as I can tell. If you want to cycle between which 3 zones you want to activate, you’ll have to use the app. Once the app is loaded, you’ll be able to choose between activating all zones, the side zones alone or the back zone alone. You can even mix and match zones. Heat up the back of your neck while blowing cold air on the sides of your neck if you want. The unit itself is big and bulky, but somehow feels okay around the neck, and its weight is minimal. I’m not sure how they achieved this design, but it works well and feels pretty good to wear. Overall, if you don’t expect more than what’s advertised with this product, then you won’t be disappointed. It’s probably not going to keep you entirely cool when it’s over 100 degrees outside, but it’s going to do a good job in normal indoor conditions and warm outdoor weather. Pros: Bluetooth control is nice when working at a desk Cooling function works very well and has a slider to adjust fan speed in the app. It’s not too loud on the lower fan speed settings. Unit stretches to fit various neck sizes. I have a big neck and had no problem wearing it. My wife’s neck is much smaller, and she used it comfortably as well. Cons: Annoying loud beep when changing settings on the unit or via the app. Controls on the unit only allow 3 fan speed or heat settings. The unit is a little bulky and partially obstructs moving your head from side to side. Heating function doesn’t work as well as I wanted it to, but it’s a welcomed addition to a product that is more than likely being purchased for it’s cooling function.

I use neck cooling towels in the summer and they work great. Problem is that you have to get the towels wet and keep them wet to work. The Torras Coolify Cyber requires no water and charges up with the modern usb-c. The neck cooler comes with a nice form fitted storage case and usb-c cable. No charging block so you will need to provide your own. The Coolify Cyber comes with two hidden ghost screens. One side tells you the battery life and the other side showing the mode and fan speeds. The entire unit is controlled with 2 buttons. The buttons can switch cooling/heating modes and 3 predetermined fan speeds (low, med, high). If you want even more features, you will need to download their phone app. While you don’t need the phone app for the neck cooler to work, the app allows for even more features. The app connects fast to the neck cooler and allows you to change the fan speeds in one step increments to 100. The app also allows you to change the zone you want active. But the ultimate feature of the app is the “AI” cooling modes. The different AI cooling modes only found on the app are Auto, ECO, Alternating, and Relief. There isn’t a way to activate the AI modes without the use of the app. The 3 modes are cooling, fan only, and heating. Battery life ranges from 15 to 2 hours with cooling as the most power-hungry mode. You can however use and charge at the same time if you plug in. Essentially you can bring a power bank and really extend out the run times. What sets this neck cooler apart from others is the ability to also heat. Which allows you to essentially use this neck cooler year-round. In summary, this neck cooler is pretty epic. The cooling mode works insanely good and the heat is great for cooler nights or muscle therapy. The fans can be a bit noisy as the side blowers are aimed straight in my ear. I find myself using this neck cooler after playing a sport and needing to cool down fast.

This is my first time using a wearable fan and the Torras Coolify Cyber portable neck air conditioner is one of the coolest gadgets I’ve used so far, having three modes ( Fan mode- Cooling Mode- Heating Mode) and Smart App control makes it even better. So far I’ve used this wearable fan at home, after work out on hot days here in Florida and also used the heating therapy mode at my office to relax my neck muscles. The charge lasted longer than I expected on fan mode ( 15.5hrs fan mode,2.6 hrs. cooling mode and 4.5 hrs heating mode , also it can be use while charging for a longer run. The fan and cooling mode feels great with its widespread cooling system, covering my entire neck area as far as my face and part of my back with the 3 fan speed. One of my favorite settings on the Smart app is the personal temperature management with its three modes - fan, cooling, and heating, each has an infinite adjustment from 0 to 100 degrees. This feature let you select your preferred mode, Auto mode that intelligently adjust based on ambient temperature and your body temperature, also a countdown timer feature. Also comes with a caring case to take when you travel. Pros: 3 modes Fan-Cooling- Heating 15.5 hrs of fan use 2.6 cooling 4.5 heating Fast Charging System with its 6000mAh large battery Smart app features All around airflow with 6 upper outlets and 2 lower outlets Cooling efficiency 70% up Button control or app control Auto mode / Timer feature Charge while using adjustable design fit for various necks sizes Cons : Battery life on Cooling mode only 2.6 hrs Heavier than other neck fans but fairly comfortable Weight 495g / 1.09 lb / 17.46 oz Noise : 49.9dB~58.6dB Dimensions : 10"D x 8.2"W x 3.9"H / 204.1*156.8*81.7mm It may not cool as much if the temperature is about 100° outside

The Torras COOLiFY Cyber neck fan is an absolute luxury item that will make living in the desert so much more tolerable. The fan has three settings (Cool, Fan, and Heat) and three speed settings (30%, 60%, and 100%) built into the fan. If you download the Torras app, you have finer granular control of the fan speeds. Living in Arizona, the cool feature is fantastic in making you mentally feel cooler because the metal neck band gets cold. The fan helps blow cold air up your face and neck and helps make the 100 degrees outside air manageable. The best thing is that the battery lasts forever. I have gone outside for two days and still have battery to continue. When it does come time to charge, it quickly charges to full battery. It uses a standard USB-C port to charge. In addition to cooling, I was having some neck tightness and the Torras unit also comes with a heat function. It is warm enough to feel good and relaxing but not overpowering that causes discomfort. Included is a fantastic hard case that protects the unit while traveling. The versatility of having the option to cool you down when it’s hot outside or warm you up when you need to relax those tired neck muscles, this Torras Cyber neck fan is a piece of luxury that once you have tried it, you will never go back living without it. In addition, this is not loud that brings unnecessary attention to you while you are using it. Most of the time, 30% fan speed is more than enough to keep me cool. You wouldn’t think that the U-shape of the neck fan gently caresses your neck comfortably and does not strangle you. With the rising heat in the southwest, I don’t know how I can live without a Torras COOLiFy Cyber Neck Fan in my life.

    Revolutionary way to keep cool

Revolutionary way to stay cool. This is a MUST have. I absolutely love the way it cools immediately and to varying temperatures, varying speed of fans and even from various areas (see pics). So if you want the fan to blow out on just one set of areas you can choose that or you can have all the ports blowing out cool air or just on fan. The heat setting doesn’t work as a fan but instead the unit heats up. During use on the heat setting, it became too hot and quickly, just as the cool would get cold quickly. The only issue I had with the unit and is the only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was because I felt the heat setting is way too sensitive and even on 1 or 2 it was too hot. I think it’s best that you use to app to control the unit as it allows for more precise settings. The unit speed and cool/heat settings go from 0-100 but only while using the App. If you want to use the device itself to change settings, you may only choose from 30, 60 & 90. All of those would be too hot on the hot setting. It comes with a case that’s hard and zippered. The unit is rechargeable. While it may seem heavy to hold, it’s actually quite comfortable while it’s on the neck. It really felt great having it on my neck. The weight was definitely not an issue while it was placed on my neck. This unit will allow me to go on longer walks and stay active longer. And while the heat may feel to hot for the neck, I can definitely see myself using the heat setting during winter when my hands get cold or I am waiting for car to warm up and want to keep my hands warm.

Good for indoor use - Not as strong as I expected

Summary: Great extras (heat mode, great app) but lacking in its main functionality (not very strong and not super cold). This portable fan/AC is really good for indoor use. If you are running hotter than others (you just worked out, or came back from a hot outdoor day, or due to hormonal changes), this will cool you off without having to crank your house AC down. However, I expected it to be a game changer when being outdoors, or on really hot days, but I was disappointed. I could barely feel the cold air it generates as the fan/AC doesn’t feel very strong even when setting it at 100% and at the coldest temperature. --------- Pros: --------- - Light enough to not bother the neck - Lets you be hands free - Can lay down with it for a short while comfortably - Heat function is nice, kept warm outdoors when it was chilly - App functionality is great, almost overkill, as it allows a lot of customization and it’s very intuitive… this would be fantastic if the fan/AC was actually very strong but it isn’t - Good battery life in fan mode, but not great in AC mode - Nice for hormone changes and staying cooler inside without freezing everyone else out (perimenopause and pregnancy) - Soft noise that allows you to hear others --------- Negatives: --------- - It doesn't get that cold - The air produced is not very strong - Occasionally hair can get stuck even if you have short hair but mainly with long hair - While portable, it’d be somewhat big to take on a trip unless you have a lot of space

So far, I really like the COOLiFY Cyber. I haven't tried it on a very hot day yet, but it certainly keeps me cool on warm days. I like how I can set the cooling fan to max for a quick cooldown, then set the power to 30% so it's not so loud. While it's a large device, it fits very comfortably around my neck. I find that it does not rest on any pressure points, so it's fine for long periods of time without an issue. The app is easy to use, as well as the physical buttons on the Cyber. And the buttons are intuitive. The case is also a nice touch. Very solid, rugged, and premium-feeling. For negatives, of course, there's the price. But, for something that provides active & immediate cooling, I do find that it's worth the money. I wish that the battery life was a bit better. After about an hour and a half, it was half-power. But I can connect an external battery, so essentially I can use it all day, as long as I have the power banks to do so. Lastly, I wish it came with something like a thin fabric sleeve that I could slip the Cyber into, so the cooling elements aren't directly against my skin. I did find that to be slightly uncomfortable after a while. All in all, I love the product, and the pros vastly outweigh the cons. I'm glad I splurged and made the purchase.

I bought this in hopes to help me stay a bit dryer as i tend to run hot. It did help bring my temp down and keep me a bit cooler but it does struggle if its warm and humid outside. The vooling sections did not get as cool when outside as they do indoors which kind of defeats the point as indoors the ac can be turned down. Battery life was alright when running it 30-50%.

I've been using the Torras Coolify for the past week and here are my thoughts on the product. This product does what it advertises. It's a cooling system that you put around your neck and it works great. I live in a hot climate (it already hit 100 degrees in the second week of April) so having a portable cooling device that's not cumbersome is something that I'll get a lot of use out of. The interior of product cools in three different sections. The left, right and back of the neck. The cooling sections provide cold zones throughout the interior. So it's not just cooling from the fans, the inside gets cold. Very cold on high intensity settings. There are two flexible sections separating the three zones. This allows for maximum comfort without feeling tight around your neck. It also has fans in all three zones that provide airflow to those sides of your face. You can choose to only cool the back or only the sides via the app controls. Speaking of the app, this is a product that you need to download the app to maximize your usage. You can control the temperature intensity and zones that you would like the cooling. For example, the fan noise can be bothersome at high speeds. Let's say you don't want excess noise but still want the cooling effect. You can choose only the back of your neck for less fan noise or you can set the fans to lower speeds, which does decrease the cooling effect. I also like that you can set your favorite setting so it jumps to that immediately when you turn it on. As for the battery life, my testing has indicated about a two hour life span. Obviously the power that your choose to run the neck fan at is going to affect this. I typically ran 60% power. The cooling felt good to me and the fan noise wasn't too bad. As for the cooling, it really does a great job of cooling your head down. Anyone who has been in major heat knows that cooling your neck area alleviates a lot of the heat to your head and improves your total comfort. Sometimes the cooling zones got a little too cold and I had to decrease the intensity. If that is not a ringing endorsement for this product I don't know what is! If you're looking for a highly effective portable neck fan that does more than just providing breeze to your face, I'd highly recommend the Torras Coolify.
