Priced really good with all the great features. Picture quality is great as well. However, I had to go change the picture settings when i set it up because it was blurry. Googled the issue and it's pretty common to have to change this during set up. Once and a while the TV will shut off and turn back on but this happens rarely. Other than those minor issues, it's a pretty solid TV.

At last a TV for the bedroom

The main reason I purchased this TV is because of the Toshiba product name and my past experience I've had with Toshiba TV's. This will makes my 4th Toshiba TV purchased in the past 10 years, the previous 3 range in size from 21" to all still working without any issues. All are at least 3 years apart in production and various size (21", 37", 42") and all are still providing excellent color, clarity of picture and great sound. I have not had one lick of trouble from any of them. It was because of my previous TV's and their excellent service that I purchased what my wife calls the "monster" because of it's size for our bedroom. It's perfect! I was also very amazed at it's light weight for a TV of this size. At first I planned on mounting it to the wall in our bedroom and thought I would need a friend to help me lift it into place. No problem here! My wife and I, with easy, were able to lift it into place. However, the only issue I had was that the wall I wanted to mount the TV to was the wall of a "pocket door wall", so it ended up on top of a dresser and I used the legs provided to do this. As for the legs that came with the TV, they were easy to install and when installed, are a beautiful fit with the TV fashion wise, very slender and yet very sturdy. I will conclude by saying that I expect this TV to perform well over at least the next 10 years and it's my opinion that should you purchase, this TV that you will be happy for a very long time. I hope this was helpful. Sleepless in Star.

Good quality picture, not the best out there but for the price it is a very good deal. It does not come enabled with apps but it uses chromecast so it takes some getting used to but you get much more content. 120Hz would have been better but its still good. Be sure to use it with the "natural" picture setting and tone the brightness and backlight down and it'll look amazing

A great 55" TV for the money. Easy to set up, excellent picture and sound, bought to replace a recent purchase because of impact damage...these screens are fragile. Only drawback may be the abbreviated remote...no numbers so have to use the channel up and down buttons to change channels, but with only 5PBS channels that is not too much of a drawback.

It's not a really feature rich TV, but it does have a good picture for a no-frills entry level 4k. All I was looking for was a monitor for a HTPC and XBox One, which this does very well. One thing that shoppers should know is that the built in Chromecast seems to be for streaming from another device. It doesn't have it's own builtin apps such as netflix, youtube, etc, that I could find. That being said, I didn't look into it much as all of those features are available on my already connected PC or Xbox. The only thing I was disappointed in was the remote. It's the most basic remote I've ever seen from Toshiba (this is my 3rd). Not a huge deal as I have a Harmony remote, but a little bit more feature rich remote would have been nice.

While the TV itself shows a magnificent picture the remote control is unworthy. The remote control has no numbers so you have to keep clicking to get up or down to channels. This is a real turn off for the TV itself.

I purchased this tv for a vacation home and did not expect much because the price was so reasonable. It was easy to set up once I figured how to attach the base legs. I had read mixed reviews on the chrome cast feature like the tv always defaults to it. I set it up and then switched to my primary input source and happily it defaults to the last source so I don't have that problem. Picture is excellent sound is also very good. I am actually shocked how nice it is. Would highly recommend. Just as reference I have 6 screens in my house mostly Samsung and I love them but this is really nice.

Got this television when it was on a weekend sale. It delivers everything as expected- great picture quality, the 4K makes EVERYTHING looks good, even setting up a regular DVD to the monitor. Older action movies like INDIANA JONES looks *STELLAR*. 4K Streaming content is crisp, clear and colorful. No problems with the TV, easy to use and set up and very happy with the huge picture, especially when a Blu Ray is enhanced to fill up the entire 55" screen. You just can't get better than this for the price. Audio is great too- many settings to choose from but no issues there at all.

I purchased this TV to replace an older 42" TV I had in the garage. For the price point and where I'm using it, it's a perfect fit but it wouldn't be a first choice in the living room for a few reasons: 1) The on-screen menus aren't that great. Sony does a much better job. 2) Settings are rather limited. 3) The remote is ugly and also limited with control functions. 4) The stand is flimsy (I mounted it to a wall so I didn't need the stand) and 5) The bezel has an 'oil can' appearance (The gloss black is a bit wavy). On the other hand 1) Price is great, 2) The 4K picture is great, and 3) The thin bezel is modern and attractive.

Got this as a replacement for a Sony Bravia I recently purchased ,I was totally surprised at the quality of the Sony as that is the only brand I have been loyal to,speakers were a shame, picture was excellent though not a 4k.That TV also had to be rebooted 4 times in the 20 days I had it.Returned it for this Toshiba. This has a bigger screen with 4K resolution,ONKYO onboard speakers!!They don't advertise the speakers anywhere but the box.Very happy about the speaker quality as I don't always use my stereo speakers when I use the tv.I finally have a TV with frame interpolation, they call it Clearframe.Picture is great.I've never owned a 4k before and I know there are better out there but at this price, man, this is a great buy.The built in Chromecast is a better choice for me because I've noticed the built in apps in smart TV's are clunky and slow.I am happy with my purchase and recommend this for someone on a budget. And,I had money leftover to buy a Keyboard I have been wanting!!

I bought this to replace my aging (and malfunctioning) 61-inch Samsung DLP Rear-Projection TV. I figured I might as well jump on the "4K Bandwagon" but didn't want to spend too much. Overall, I'm very happy with this TV and it's a good "basic" Big-Screen 4K TV. It doesn't support HDR and other than the built-in "chromecast" (which I honestly never use anyway), it's pretty "skimpy" on Network capabilities (no built-in browser, Netflix or other TV streaming apps). But as I said, I was just looking for a relatively inexpensive Big Screen 4K TV and this fit the bill for me (I run my Netflix from my Blu ray player anyway and also just needed a nice display for my XBox One and Playstation 4). The set does have "excellent" picture quality and has enough basic features that I have no regrets on purchasing this. Recommended if you want a 4K TV but don't want to spend a lot of money.

Purchased this TV for my bedroom. Had never used Google Chromecast but all is working well. My sitting distance is about 12-14 feet away and this is a perfect size for the bedroom. Easy to setup and easy to use controls.

the price on this TV is unreal. It is just as good as the 4k TVs that cost soo much more, and it has Chromecast! best bang for your buck in any 4k TV out there. I absolutely love it, highly recommended.

I love this TV. It is easy to set up and has a great picture. Looks very nice. With Google Home app, you stream wirelessly from your smart phone or other device to the screen. Works really well. My only complaint is the remote control. You cannot enter a direct channel on the supplied remote. There are no numbers on it. Makes changing channels a little cumbersome. So I programmed my Logitech Harmony remote for it. Problem solved.
