    I bought this as an external storage drive for my Xbox One and I am totally satisfied with it. All you have to do is take it out of the package and plug it into the Xbox and it'll take care of the rest for you.

    I've had similar drive I purchased seven years ago and it still chucking along. This drive seems to be a little slower the one I currently have. I'm thinking it has a lower spindle rate (probably 5400 rpm) than my older one, This not a problem for me just wanted to put that info out there.

    I had a 1 Tb ext. hard drive before I got this one. My 1 Tb was also Toshiba and it worked perfectly, so I decided to go with a 2 Tb this time and I was not disappointed.
