Great laptop for the price, touch screen, 1 terrabyte of memory quick processor and lightweight. Definitely recommend!

After building a very expensive water cooled gaming PC I decided I would break down and get a laptop to keep down on non gaming tasks. This PC comes with Windows 10 which came in useful, I now have a platform to get familiar with the o/s without worrying about upgrading then going back on my other pc's if I decide I don't care for it. I've taken it to the garage to help with projects, being its a lot easier to read off of versus a smart phone. Boot up time is reasonably fast and the fact it's touch screen has come in handy several times. It has ample storage. Overall I felt it was a good purchase choice, this coming from a person who's never really wanted a laptop. Great edition to the home!

The laptop does really slow down if you have multiple browsers open/multi-tasking, but, for the $400 I paid for it, Toshiba comes through again. At times I feel like the 1terabyte is overkill because the processor really can't handle much simultaneously. The touchscreen on this computer is definitely a must because the built-in mousepad works only temperamentally. Other reviews have noted it, and I have to agree that they went really cheap on the mousepad, so be prepared if you don't have your own mouse or like to use the touchscreen. Overall though, the computer looks and works great for what I need it for (school, papers, basic web browsing, etc.), and I love the price on it!

Let me tell you right now, you get more than your money's worth with this laptop. This is a full functioning touch screen computer that works great. It looks great, it is built extremely solid, it's very sturdy and can take the licking that a 10 year old boy can put out. It has plenty of storage so you you won't have to worry about how fast you will need to back it up or spend more money for removable storage. Stop wasting time and just buy it already. My son loves it, my wife loves it and that means peace and quiet for me, lol. I highly recommend this laptop. Good luck and God bless.

Got this laptop for my wife, she loves it. The touch screen is really nice feature. Specs are decent but for what she uses it (email, youtube, browsing, kids homework) is really fast. Comes with TONS of bloatware, just do a fresh install and she runs great.

Bought for family member. It has a 1 TB hard drive which should last for for five years. It's nice that has a touch screen. Seems to work very fast.

I was loving the computer up until yesterday when it froze. I took it into the Geek Squad and they said it most likely was just a glitch and shouldn't happen again. It's easy to use. The touch screen is great. And the price is right. The edges of the computer are extremely sharp and I find it hard to open up. Overall, a good computer for the price you pay.

I bought this for my 10 year old son so he could play minecraft online with his friends. Seems to have the right amount of memory, RAM, processor speed, etc because he is not complaining about any lag. He also likes that it has a touchscreen that makes internet browsing easier.

This has worked out very well for me. I use it store photos, word processing, spreadsheets, emails, streaming, and online research. Faster than what I had before and easily connects to internet. Start-up is faster, too. (probably due to Windows 10) . Like full keyboard and built-in numerical pad.

After 4 years with my MAC finally decided to upgrade my lap top. This lap top has more features for a system I paid $1500 for. You can't beat the price for under$300 this lap top has all the bells and whistles. Very fast and touch screen is a very cool feature.

Very fast, easy to use and the touchscreen makes it simple to move around the pages. I would recommend this computer to a friend or anyone looking for a computer for daily use.

Very good and fast my son loves it to play video games and usually I get mad because it makes the computer slower but this computer is so fast I dont care I would recommend everyone to get this computer out of 1-10 I say it a 10 not only is it a good computer it's good looking to I really recommend it

I had just recently graduated college and needed a new computer. I no longer needed the software that I needed at school so I downgrade was necessary; why pay for more of a computer than I actually need!? This computer has ample space for storage of photos and videos. And the touch screen is a really nice feature! This sleek black color is also really cool and modern, giving it a more expensive look without the price. At first I wasn't a fan of the Windows 8 program as I was always raised and used Windows 7 but it didn't take long to catch on. Now that all I'm doing is watching YouTube videos and paying bills this computer is exactly what I needed! The one downside to this computer and why didn't give it 5 Stars was that the kissing on the screen felt a little cheap and flimsy so if you're looking for a really durable computer with large pets and kids bumping around you, this might not be it. For a single person with cats who is not prone to breaking things, the flimsy screen is not such an issue.

Bought for my widea to replace an old Dell. She loves the ease of using the touchscreen. Picture is vivid, and images pop off the screen. 1 TB hard drive makes for plenty of room to save pics, music, and videos.

We bought this computer for our HS daughter, but the entire family has created their own profile, and enjoying using the computer now. The touch screen is a great feature, and setting it up was easy, especially for a PC.

got an i3 unit but it has 6gb memory ram and 1TB hard drive that makes it faster, good specs at an affordable cost.

While at Best Buy I was looking to replace my work laptop with exactly the same as the one I was working on. Unfortunately it was out of stock and I needed a laptop right away. The clerk recommended the Toshiba Satellite with touch screen. I really didn't care about the touch screen but have used it on occasion and will probably use it more in the future. This laptop is fast. I am really glad I got it.

Depending on your needs - this laptop could be the answer. It's a solid choice for the money. The 6GB of memory is good and the 1TB storage is enough to keep plenty of files, but the Core I3 processor might be a little under-performing if you're a gamer or typically open many files at a time. But if you're just looking to do some bookkeeping, document processing, email & web surfing, then this machine will serve your needs without emptying your change drawer.

I needed a laptop that had a good amount of storage and basic features. The touch screen was a bonus, and I was surprised to see that feature in an affordable laptop. I looked at a lot of laptops, and I think I made the right decision when I bought this one.

This laptop works great for the amount I spent on it. The Windows 10 is something to get use to, but it works really well (and allows me to stream Xbox One games). Battery life is great. Graphics are near perfect. And the speed is good so far.
