I bought this computer for my daughter for Christmas. It is pretty fast. She really seems to love it. The battery lasts longer than our new HP computer. Love the touch screen.

Overall really nice unit. Lightweight, thin, fast, has a DVD drive, chicklet keyboard, touch screen, good sound for a laptop...I like it a lot. When I first got it I was a bit disappointed in the screen because it is not as bright/vivid as my previous laptop, but now that I've had it for about I week I actually prefer it; while it is not as vivid as the previous unit it is less fatiguing on the eyes and has more detail. One thing I will say (I've seen a couple other people have this same problem) is that the wi-fi was cutting out periodically. When I was connected to the internet I was losing the signal like once or twice per hour. I went into device manager and updated the driver for the lan card and that fixed the problem, so that is something you may want to do as well. Overall very nice unit I recommend it for a fairly inexpensive laptop. Here the directions for updating the driver: In the Windows search at the bottom left corner type: "Device Manager" Click on "Device Manager Control Panel" Go down to "Network Adapters" and click on the > to the left RIGHT click "Broadcom 802.11" and select "update driver" Once the update has been installed completely shutdown the computer and restart it.

An impressive list of features included for this price point. Touch screen is a nice/interesting feature although I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of it. Surprised to get an Intel Core i3, 6GB RAM and 1 TB hard drive at this price. Build quality feels good and so far I've been impressed with the performance. Highly recommended for a sub-$400 laptop.

I got this computer as a gift for my brother for Christmas and was so impressed with it that we took back another model which my sister received and exchanged it. Toshiba has always been a very reliable brand for me and that played a major part in my purchase. The touch screen is a really great feature as well and I love the 1 terabyte of hard disk space!

Touch screen is great. The laptop is lightweight. Power DVD is the software we were familiar with from our previous laptop. Dissapointed that Power DVD's latest version does not provide play while in fast forward as the older version did. Otherwise, very happy with this purchase.

I purchased the laptop shortly after Christmas. The laptop failed to connect with any WiFi. Took the laptop back to Best Buy and a technician checked it out and it still would not connect to their WiFi. Instead of entering it in for service/repair which could take weeks, he suggested that I return the laptop in exchange it for a new one. He was very helpful and did the entire exchange for us and explained how we could reinstall the MS Office and gave us a new Webroot anti-virus disc to replace the one we installed. Great customer service. The second laptop worked perfect and I am very happy with it. The first one may have been fluke. Best Buy resolved the problem quickly and I am very happy with the second laptop. I would have given this a five rating if the first one was not defective.

Purchased computer for to replace our son's laptop that was stolen. An unplanned purchase but was pleased to get a good deal that would meet his needs to finish up school. Love the 1TB storage and that it is touch screen.

It's fast, easy to use and I'm really enjoying it. I bought a laptop from Best Buy earlier last year with Windows 8. I hated it and gave it to my son. Windows 10 with touchscreen is so much better and it's easy to use.

We purchased this laptop for my wife who is a teacher. It was a great price. The computer is super fast and looks sharp. We looked at many reviews and tested all of the other laptops at best buy. It has an Intel processor and 1tb in memory. This is our third toshiba satellite laptop. We really like them and will continue to purchase them.

We have owned several laptops in our family. This was a gift for our 19 yr old who really wanted a touchscreen. I was concerned that I was giving up speed for a touchscreen. We were shocked! The speed is fast and he loves it!!! This is our third Toshiba laptop and have always been very pleased with their products!!

It's a great laptop for it's price. It runs great. Web pages look crisp . I live that it's not too heavy or bulky. I have recommended it to my friends already who only need laptop for the basic needs.

I returned an ASIS that performed sluggishly for my needs and with the tremendous help of Best Buy's Geek Squad, customer service and my sales person, was able to make an exchange for this model. Speed is excellent, graphics are great, love the touch screen, and the price was right..... Nice job, Best Buy!

I bought a Toshiba laptop that has a touch screen built in with Cortana voice mic. It also has a cd/dvd writer and has apps included. I am enjoying it so far and I have had it about 2 months. I plan on using this computer for keeping up with the important things. The only downfall is that it sometimes seems slower than the dinasour dell I've had for about four or five years when it comes to browsing the internet. I'm currently blaming it on my internet provider but I have my suspicions considering the same provider runs quicker on my old computer.

Two of our personal computers died within days of each other and I needed something new in a hurry. No time to really comparison shop. Thought I was seeing things when I read the specs on this one and the price. Ran to Best Buy to grab one and haven't regretted it. Its a nimble machine, very fast.

This is a great laptop despite what people already said about it. Its fast, smooth and gets the job done quicker than any computer i have handle with the same features. Not only that but the price was great for it being touch screen also. The ram and intel can always be upgraded if uts a problem

First let me say that I'm a Toshiba fan. Have a 17" that's travelled to Europe and back several times, been dropped from about 3 feet, is 7 years old and runs like new. I needed a newer pc for the storage and speed and bought this because it had what I needed and the price was good. The big problem is that I can't stay connected to wifi, despite doing the recommended updates (and getting used to Windows 10). I will update my rating to 5*'s when and if I can find a fix for this problem. Using my old pc until then. Can anyone help me please?

This laptop is light weight, easy to use and affordable. I especially like the touch screen. I have used it for social media, research, games and to keep up to date on the current events.

Needed to replace my previous Toshiba Satellite laptop as it had become old and the wire in the screen was starting to get loose and make the screen flicker pink, green and purple. I did not want to upgrade to something super fast as it would be used for normal browsing and not running any heavy programs and let's just say I am very happy with this laptop. The touchscreen is very nice and responds quickly, and the processor runs faster than I thought it would. Would definitely recommend as a home-use laptop for your regular browsing, online shopping and/or schooling.

I love my Toshiba laptop and it's amazing features. I also bought a wireless printer for an unbeatable price. The sales rep was knowledgeable about items and products and was able to help me choose the products to suit my needs.
