    Wi-Fi problem!!!!!

Has bought 2 of these laptops to my twin girls. Running setting up side by side for the first use. One laptop get setup really easy and fast. However, another one has problem to detect my home wifi network and seems like slow on the connection speed too. Once the first time setup done, get both laptops connected to the internet and do the windows update. After all the windows update done ( take almost 2 hours to finish), the "problem laptop" still get slow connection speed. Search Toshiba web site and someone said to update the intel wireless driver. Installed the update driver and the problem still the same. Now my "good" laptop keep connection on 72.2Mbps at all time and seems really stable. However, the "bad" one is floating between 14.4 to 30 something Mbps. I have checked my 2 old laptops are around 104Mbps ( i set all 4 laptops side by side to test them). I will try to re-install whole windows to see. If still not fix this problem, i will exchange the "bad" one to a new one. if the new one still the same, I will return all of them and look for another laptop.

Thank you for the review, yamyam, and sorry to hear about the wireless connectivity issue on your Satellite E45W.

I understand that you're planning to return it. If you haven't alredy done so, see the Toshiba Forums community knowledge base article at forums.toshiba.com/t5/Networking-Wi-Fi-Knowledge-Base/What-can-I-do-if-my-Wi-Fi-wireless-isn-t-working-in-Windows-10/ta-p/663603
for Windows 10 Wi-Fi tips and troubleshooting help.

If Windows is displaying a "limited" or "no connectivity" message or indicating "no Internet access" even though you know that your Wi-Fi router is connected to the Internet, there's a specific fix which is normally installed automatically by Windows Update. Microsoft's support article at support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3114149 explains details about the symptom, cause, and how to implement the solution. Toshiba also has a Support Bulletin at www.support.toshiba.com/sscontent?contentId=4008443 with detailed instructions on how to manually implement the solution.

For additional help please call Toshiba support at 800-457-7777.

Thanks for the feedback and sorry for the trouble. Toshiba

I had the computer for a few weeks before my daughter cracked the screen. I purchased the full coverage option... Its been with qeek squad for over a month "waiting on parts"... They are always promising to put a rush on it. Worst customer service ever... Never call to inform me of anything and when I call its still "waiting on parts"

My Toshiba Satellite has been easy to use. I upgraded from a 17" Dell laptop that was running windows vista and purchased in 2008. It was time to upgrade to something that was easier to travel with for business. I have been transferring files over using my usb and scandisc cards. That has been an easy process. I am adjusting to Windows 10. My purchasing experience was good. Something that I thought would be good would be the ability to switch the laptop to tablet mode. I haven't really needed that feature. Another thing that the sales person said was good about this machine were the speakers. And that is definitely true. The speakers are pretty amazing. I think I got a good machine for about what I wanted to spend. If you are looking for mid-level laptop that is a good bang for your buck, so far, this fits the bill....at least for me.

I gotta say I read some complaints about the Screen on this Laptop and took my chances.... First the display is great with no glare...I am not sure if Toshiba corrected this or maybe I just don't take my laptop out in the glaring sun like others. I purchased this for $399 free shipping and its a very great buy as a mobile work station. Windows 10 loads quite fast and its absolutely silent. No complaints and Touchscreen is great for interaction and certain games.

This Toshiba Radius is a nice overall machine. It has enough speed and memory to do average tasks. The screen occasionally does not want to rotate in the various display modes but will eventually correct itself. There is a moderate amount of bloatware. It is a good value and very nice looking.

This is a great lap top with many new features such as Windows 10, besides it's very versatile because you can use it as a tablet or as a lap top and I love the.brushed metal finish.

Works good and performs as expected. It is fast and handles multi tasking very well. My only complaint would be that the screen isn't 1080p, but what I'm using it for really doesn't matter. The touch screen works very well. Microsoft 10...well that's a whole different story.

My wife is a DIY kind of girl, so she wanted to make her own invitations for our wedding. Bought this laptop online for a great deal. We haven't owned a laptop for a couple of years now (because she has every electronic device a person would need) so this Toshiba feels like a jump into the future. Touch screen, Good storage and adequate ram. Biggest pro: IT WAS DIRT CHEAP. she has finished the invites and now uses it for entertainment purposes mostly(Hulu, netflix) and daily Web surfing. The 3 in 1 feature is pretty cool. She rarely uses tablet mode but I see her use tent mode when she's watching her shows. Only con: Glare from the glass screen, gets kind of annoying. Other than that I highly recommend this laptop if your looking for an everyday laptop.

Very happy with my Toshiba laptop! The touch screen is handy when I just want to scroll down to a certain spot instead of using the arrows or the page down buttons. Only thing I don't like is how sensitive the mouse pad is, sometimes it'll do something I didn't want it to do like highlight and delete things.

We had to exchange the computer back to Best Buy after two days due to blue screen of death. The replacement has been great so far. I think it's a great laptop for the price. My son has the dell11" 2in1 and likes this one better and is begging sister to use it. I just pray it holds up.
