After only a week of use, it started to show its true side. Its amazing how slow it is at EVERY task. Forget multitasking. For a machine with 6GB RAM - its just unacceptable. My other laptop has the fraction of power yet it is lightyears ahead in terms of speed and reliability. I will not disclose the brand. Sorry, Toshiba - I will not buy your products anymore. And this one is going back to the store.

I suspect that Windows has somehow become corrupted. The best way to determine if a problem you're experiencing is caused by hardware or a software or configuration issue is to perform a Windows Reset or Refresh. See the Toshiba Forums community knowledge base article and its embedded video at forums.toshiba.com/t5/System-Recovery-and-Recovery/How-To-Understanding-System-Restore-Refresh-Reset-and-Recovery/ta-p/342690 for detailed instructions on how to perform a Windows Reset or System Recovery.
