This laptop was just what I was looking for to replace my 5 year old Toshiba Satellite. I wanted something lightweight and portable. I agree with the previous reviews about wishing it has a backlit keyboard. Other than that, I am very pleased. No problems with set up when it was delivered to my home. I love Windows 10 and all the easy new features of the newer laptop. The tablet is not my favorite feature though. It is a bit cumbersome as a tablet and does not quite have the ease of touch as a regular tablet. Nice added feature. I recommend this laptop!

Was looking to replace a tablet, but after seeing the price for better models decided to go with a 2-in-1 laptop. I am very pleased with this unit in that it does everything that it was advertised to do. Start up went smooth with step by step instructions. Any minor issues with this tablet I attribute to Windows 10, not the laptop. The performance of the laptop is quick and responsive. It works very well as both a tablet and a laptop. Even though I bought it for myself, my wife and son enjoy using it as well. I've been using it for a month now and only minor issues with the operating system, not the laptop. This is our second Toshiba laptop, both 2-in-1, and they are excellent. This is a very good laptop at a good price.

At first I had some wifi problems , but toshiba 3 days ago had a bios, and wifi update. After that my laptop has been running smooth. I love the touchscreen and how light it is. I also like the option of connecting to my xbox one (must have xbox adapter to work) .

This laptop worked perfectly for a Photo Booth I designed and built. Touch screen works great. Able to shoot images using Photo Booth software with a DSLR and print directly to a Dye Sublimation photo printer with ease as well as emailing and social media sharing.

I only kept this 2 days. I liked it overall but it would not stay connected to the internet even though I had a new modem and only 1 other device was connected to it. Plus: nice looking Cons: totally would not keep connected. pretty hefty weight (after I took it back I purchased a higher end one and it is sooo much lighter). i3 processor seemed to struggle with simple things. all in all, so glad I did not keep struggling with it even though I had to pay a couple of 100 more for the new one. it is so worth it.

We recently purchased this laptop for our daughter for her school work. It is a perfect size for her and has the power and speed to run all of her programs. Even runs Mindcraft with no lag. Her mother even uses it when I'm hogging our laptop. We may have to purchase a second one for mom. It has all of the features you see on most higher end laptops. The only thing missing is lighted keyboard. But that's not as important for the you ones with better eyesight. You won't regret this purchase.

Granted I only had this computer for one day but I love it. It is fast enough for me, the display is good even from a angle and the 2-in-1 feature is a plus.

It is a great laptop. It serves it purpose and more. I like the speed and how light it is. It also is great for watching movies. And its nice for playing games too. It is a huge step up from my last laptop ( HP Pavilion DV5.)m

I bought this laptop 4 months ago and I love it. It's very fast, nice, and light. Now I want to buy one for mi wife.

My last laptop was a Toshiba Satellite L770 and kept with Toshiba because of it's reliability. There is not one thing I do not like about this Laptop. It is the perfect size to have on your lap, Tru-bright display is nice, slick feel of the interior. I couldn't believe how loud or how good the speakers sounded. Upon turning on, it completes its boot time in about 10 seconds and you are ready to go. It is just awesome !

I love this computer. It's reliable yet versatile. With Windows 10 and the flip around touch screen, I don't see how you can get a better quality machine for the price.

Pros: Touchscreen is responsive Versatility with different angles. I used the laptop with the screen facing forward and keyboard folded behind it (kind of like an all in one desktop setup). I connected a USB keyboard and Bluetooth mouse and it was a nice configuration. Neutral: Bluetooth connectivity works but difficulties pairing with some devices over others (difficulties with pairing some Bluetooth headphones). Cons: Screen is like a mirror especially in brightly lit rooms. Colors especially blacks look poor when viewing videos. Tablet mode is a nice idea but not something i'd use because of the weight of the laptop. The cons were hard for me to overlook and in the end were the reason I had to return this product. This product would be great if you plan on connecting this laptop to a monitor.

This was an excelent laptop. It performed very well for six years with no problems.

A good laptop for the money. Good ram memory, hard drive and quality.

So far, I've been impressed with the overall performance of the laptop.. except for a couple things. The WiFi issue has been documented with Windows 10 and will surely be patched/updated in time. Um... the TOUCHPAD, TRACKPAD, whatever you want to call it, is absolute trash. Poor sensitivity, poor page response to input, and gestures are failing at a cringe-worthy high percentage. I'll be carrying a mouse with the laptop now... great. Thanks for that.

I got this laptop originally for school, and now I use it for everything. It comes in hand when you are watching movies or searching the web there are many things you can do with this product. the computer came with windows 10 and is also a touch screen. It has great battery life and has many functions and not limited to just a laptop.

I had no issues installing my applications and it seems to be faster than most of the i3s that I tried before. 6 Mb of RAM makes it faster as well. Good Job Toshiba

Needed a Windows computer to run one program not available for a Mac. Pros: The touch screen works great, display clarity and speed are really good. Cons: The track pad absolutely stinks! Probably the worst I've ever used. Tried adjusting the sensitivity and even added a wireless mouse I've used before on another computer. The external mouse makes it livable but it is even quirky. Absolutely the worst. Toshiba needs to go back to a trackball until they can get the track pad figured out.

Bought this for work, used about 10 times...stopped working (power light blinking, no sound from hard drive, black screen). Toshiba customer "service" was beyond SLOW. I was on hold for 45 minutes to get through, & then the rep placed me on hold SEVERAL times for several minutes at a time. After 2 hours, the rep gave me an address & sent me to a drop off center, HAHA, to drop it off for repair...drop off center says "we aren't contracted for this model; we can't take it." Oh, okay. What. A. Waste-of time, my lunch hour +an additional 30 minutes, plus gas, frustration... What a bad joke. Then, when I found time to call again, I had to pay $29.99 for Toshiba to send me a box with a label, which took 5 days to receive because the BOX required a signature! Haha (Um, have I mentioned I freaking work! Lol) Yeah, so I mailed the joke of a computer to get "repaired" & who even knows when I'll get it back. BUYER'S REMORSE!!! :-(
