Great Price For 8 Ports
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 4 of these, and they appear to be working fine. I've read that unmanaged switches are not something that can be easily messed up functionality-wise. The build feels solid, and the price is right.

Quality product, very reasonable price!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a well made and easy to use network switch, it’s an unmanaged switch so you just plug in your cables and power and let it do it’s thing! Sturdy metal case and quality cable connections make this a great deal! If you need more functionality then you need a managed switch, TP-Link makes them as well.

Well built, great value on sale
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well built with a metal case. Small and light enough to fit in my wiring cabinet. Great value on sale for $20. Power adapter does not block adjacent AC socket in wall outlet, regardless of which one (top or bottom) you use.

Does What It's Supposed To Do and Well
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this switch to create a network of data throughout my home. It is literally plug and play. Doesn't offer extra bells and whistles, because they are not needed. Internet speed remains great. Streaming (TV, video games, etc) may actually be a little cleaner than when I was just running off of WiFi. Works just as well as some higher price point items.

Great little switch
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great and extremely simple to use. Just plug it in and you are good to go. A couple years ago I ran an ethernet cable from one end of the house to the other for my home office due to the weak wifi signal from my router; however, I now needed more ports. Rather than running more cables, I just bought the switch and now have two laptops, a desktop, and a printer connected without relying on the wifi.

Need more ports?
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My internet provider modem has only 1 ethernet port & no built-in router for wifi. My family has 5 game systems, couple laptops & handful of tablets & cell phones. To have comfort of mind while playing games on console, we like to be hardwired. The ethernet port splitter gives the ease of mind & play. The eeros router is connected to modem & the ethernet splitter is connected to back of eeros router. All consoles are hardwired including a laptop, with a few extra ports free just in case. There's 0 lag or interuptions, & our eeros routers (1 one used as hub, the other as extender) makes adequate wifi within our home & outside around the house.

Works great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TP brand keeps proving that it is a reliable one despite the lower price than its competitors. So far it has worked as expected and dare to say that simpler things give the fewer issues.

Excellent switch for high speed internet.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this switch to replace an older 6 port Cisco switch because I needed a switch that could support 1G speed. As good as the Cisco switch was for it's time, it would have functioned but not been able to support higher speed. The TP-Link switch was perfect and a very easy plug&play setup. I would recommend this switch.

TP-Link Gigabit Switch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a nice and cheap unmanaged Gigabit switch for my entertainment center. I saw this one when I was just browsing at Best Buy. It was a good deal, a great price for an 8 port Gigabit switch.
