Best wifi ever.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been in I.T. for over thirty years. I've had several wireless routers & mesh routers as well. I returned a mesh router one that cost considerably more than this one because it did not meet my expectations. DECO BE33000 is a beast my wifi is faster than my internet wire connection. You heard me first time in history.

Expensive but good!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not the cheapest but works well at what it's supposed to do. Does auto firmware update notifications fine. Also integrated well with my 2 earlier deco mesh systems(total 6 units now). Also works with my home security & NAS systems.

Deco Be95 Problems with ATT BGW-500
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really wanted this to work bought 4 units twice for a total of 8 units, Att Tech Suport, and Deco Tech Support on a merged call could not get these to work on multiple occarions over the last month. And maybe 10-15 hours in the phone still could not gwt these to work properly. These seem to have potential but no matter what we did as soon as I connected my full network of devices it would cripple the Be95, I have around 170 plus devices in a smart home and these just crumbled on a 2GB Fiber connection, was getting 0.22 download 0.17 upload. Just went back to ATT default router/modem with 3 ATT SMART extenders works much better too bad really wanted these to work super unreliable in its current state. Deco specialized tech to Senior Tech To R&D and all a waste of my time and money. Maybe this is too new and not ready.

Gives you speed and signal strength.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I highly recommend the TP - Deco 95 mesh-7 system. If you want speed and signal strength, the Deco 95 mesh-7 system easily fulfills these demands. Following instructions on the TP Deco app, I encountered no problems. The TP app quickly found both Deco units. The first one that I installed became the 'main' unit, ethernet wired to the router, and the second unit became the 'mesh' unit, located up one flight of stairs, through a floor and one wall, about 25 feet away. I have them in router mode. The units easily find clients. The strength of the 'mesh' unit is listed as 'strong', and the speed of the TP network is 839 Mbps down and 791 up, on average. This is excellent considering that my ISP speed is 940 Mbps down and 880 up. The signal is so strong (5/5 on the small wifi radar symbol) that it allowed the Intel WiFi 6E internal network adapter (card) in my computer to find the 6 Ghz band. Prior to using the TP Deco 95's, my computer could not 'see' the 6 Ghz network. I purchased an external Netgear A8000 6E usb network adapter. The signal strength was poor (2/5 on the small wifi radar symbol), but the computer could 'see' the 6 Ghz band. However, the network adapter routinely dropped the connection. It would connect to the 6 Ghz band, but only for a few minutes. This is with a whole home router about 25 feet away and an extender 15 feet away. Very poor signal strength. I am very satisfied.

So much promise, but big first-day problems
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Where to start on this. I was so excited for this system to launch. I didn't so much need the wifi 7, but I needed a new mesh system, and loved the idea of having a 10Gb wired backhaul and so many multi-gig ports for my NAS and other equipment. The first thing I'll note about this is that these are HUGE. If they held liquid, they would be just under a gallon in size (think a gallon milk jug but a bit skinnier). There is also a fan inside due to the new wifi 7 radios and multi-gig ports. It does get toasty -- my infrared thermometer showed about 150 degrees on the outside while sitting pretty idle. But here's where the weird things start. To begin, I was able to quickly set these up using the TP link app. It had a hiccup trying to then find and recognize the second unit, but I restarted everything, let them connect wirelessly, then plugged in the backhaul and it eventually got all up and working. I updated the firmware and I thought we were off. Right before I swapped out my old mesh system for this one, I had my trusty laptop (a Surface Laptop Studio) sitting on my desk idle with no apps open. It's worked like a champ for the past year. As soon as I woke it up, I noticed that it wasn't connected to the wifi. I reconnected it, and things went haywire. After a minute, my fans were spinning and CPU was maxed at 100%. I restarted, saw that my network services were throwing out errors, but then hit the same problem before it totally disconnected from the wifi. At that point, a hour of restarts devolved into not being able to see any wifi, then not being able to log in, then not being able to start. I totally wiped the machine. This could be a huge coincidence, or some bizarre issue triggered by connecting to the new router. (What worried me is an error that popped up preventing me from logging into windows saying a buffer overflow had occurred and warned that it could be an exploit.) At that same time, I noticed that some of my devices in my house were refusing to connect to this new system. Oddly, my tablet was not connected to wifi and when I connected, it froze up needing a restart. It seemed to be working fine after that, and other devices on my network seemed to be fine. But as today wore on, the system was dropping its internet connection. Every few minutes, it would lose the connection for about 20-30 seconds and then be fine. I restarted and rebooted the modem, removed all extraneous equipment from my network, but the issue persisted. So, tl;dr, this thing seems to have bugs. It is the first Wifi7 router out there I believe, but I either have the worst luck with all my devices going haywire at once, or there's something wrong here with this unit.

Posted .Dear schwnj,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our Deco BE95 Wi-Fi 7 Mesh System. We regret to hear that you encountered these concerns; we are committed to providing the best possible support and would like to address them for you.
To better understand your network environment and provide tailored assistance, we kindly request that you contact us directly at USSupportTeam@TP-Link.com, referencing this review along with any additional details or concerns you may have. Our support team will be more than happy to help.
In the meantime, we'll do our best to address the concerns you've outlined in your review. Since you already updated its firmware, we would recommend factory resetting the entire Deco BE95 System and reconfiguring it via the Deco app. This will ensure that the new firmware's default settings are applied correctly.
Regarding the operating temperature of your Deco BE95 units, it is normal for them to run warm. However, if they appear unusually warm, please ensure they are situated in well-ventilated areas, away from direct heat sources or prolonged sunlight exposure.
For the connectivity issues you mentioned, such as devices refusing to connect, performing the suggested factory reset and reconfiguration may resolve these problems. If the reset does not appear to fix any of the issues, please reach out to our team with additional information about your connected device, network setup and operating systems, so we may investigate further.
We hope this helps address your concerns. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at USSupportTeam@TP-Link.com for further support, and we will follow up with you directly to help ensure your Deco BE95 experience is fully satisfactory.
Thank you,
TP-Link Support

WIFI 7 is here and its FAST!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.many people will think that its silly to think about a wifi 7 network at this point, but, incredibly, its here, its early, and its great and fast! Sure, there will be some glitches as the protocol matures, and as more wifi 7 devices come out, things will surely improve, but, dont bother with wifi 6E at this point, as this wifi 7 setup works great, easy to set up and administer, and I was seeing 800-999 mb speeds from my one gig fiber connection, everywhere on my property even at this early stage of development, and in 2 weeks of ownership, I havent had a single drop out or lost connection. Its not as customizable as many serious network folks would like, which may change as the firmware matures, but it gives you all the major info you want right now, and updates/firmware/software has worked perfectly for me so far. If you want the cutting edge features, and need to upgrade that moldy old network setup you have now, this will not disappoint you!

Work very well, lacks customization capabilities.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this when it was just released. I had some minor issues at first with Wi-Fi but a firmware update was released 3-4 weeks later. It has been working great ever since. Why did I give 4 not 5 stars? It feels like they oversimplified the management UI and I do not have the same level of control my I did with my Synology Router (I left Synology because they did not have any 10GB wired support which I required). The Web UI is useless so its phone only for setup and configuration. For many this simplified UI with limited customization control will be welcome. It very easy to use for the average person. For the tech geeks out there beware. Overall, a very good product and I am happy with my purchase.

Great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Waaaay better than my previous eero pro6 which cut my gig internet down to 100mbs. This TP Link however is very powerful signal. Getting 500mbd on my second floor from my gig internet downstairs. Two of these easily covered my 40+ device , 2300 sq ft home and garage. I tried it with just one which still worked way better than eero pro but two really gave me great coverage. 4* due to some pausing/glitching for some of my devices but I think I worked those kinks out. Very happy with this router and will still be valid in 5+ years

Worth Every Penny, Don't expect miracles though
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extremely fast wifi. Don't be fooled by the 33 Gbps ad though. Yes, it is capable of handling that traffic but it isn't serial, it's parallel. Meaning even with a Wifi 7 Card you're probably going to get about 3 Gbps on a single node on your network not your full contracted rate. My advice is if you don't have a lot of computers don't buy a lot of bandwidth. You won't need it. This router is worth every penny. I took the first screen shot with my router and the 2nd from a wifi connected node. Ask me how sad I am that I'm only getting 600 Mbps on one node on my network though... not at all.

TP-Link Deco BE33000 is Fantastic!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a proud owner of the TP-Link Deco Wi-Fi 6E System, I already knew about this company going in so purchasing the TP-Link Deco BE33000 Quad-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 7 System was a no brainer. My reasons for purchasing this is to have more range in my apartment as well as staying in touch with the latest in technology. Also, future proofing myself for devices which will shortly use this technology. I must say that after using this product for about a week or so, I am simply delighted at how well it works! Obviously this is not a cheap device but you know what they always say, you get what you pay for and I am obviously not Disappointed! If you can afford this, I say go for it! Take the plunge and you will see what I'm talking about. I Highly recommend it!!!

Review for Deco B95 Router (2-Pack)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Review for Deco B95 Router (2-Pack) I’ve been using the Deco B95 router with the 2-pack system, and I’m seriously impressed. Setup was simple and quick, and ever since I installed it, my Wi-Fi coverage has improved dramatically. I used to have dead zones in parts of my house, but not anymore. The signal is strong and consistent throughout the entire home. Speeds are fast even with multiple devices connected. I highly recommend this if ⁸you’re looking for a powerful mesh system that delivers excellent range and performance.
