I've installed a few "dumb" light switches before and some smart outlets and light bulbs. This smart switch was very easy to install and fit into my electrical box with no problems. Be sure you have a neutral white wire in your box before purchasing. Once it was wired in and I turned on the power, it was super easy to connect to my home Wi-Fi using the Kasa app. You can turn your lights on using the switch as well as the app. I used the schedule feature in the app to turn the light on/off according to a schedule. I added it to my Google Home.

We bought multiple of these switches in an effort to turn our home into a smart home. These switches were perfect to turn on and off our outdoor lights on a schedule every day. We also bought some to put in rooms that we are frequently in in our home like the kitchen and living room. It integrates with Google home nicely to control our lights with our voice, or turn on the lights while we are away so we don’t have to come home to a dark house. I’d say these were a pretty good investment.

The TP-Link Switch is a must have if you are starting your Smart Home setup. It's really easy to install, just follow the prompts from the Kasa App, and you're set. One thing to NOTE: if you don't have a Neutral wire, unlike the newer homes, this item will NOT work. But it's really convenient to have.

Kasa smart switch is good. I have bought 2 of them and they work well. Was easy to setup and I have setup a schedule and works really well for me.

I have about 25 of these in my house. They are simple to install, if you aren’t afraid of wires, and they are simple to use. I mainly use them to turn off the lights when i leave and go to bed “Alexa, turn off everything.” I also use the scheduling ability with my alarm... “Turn on my bedroom light at 6:00 am” I also have my outside lights scheduled to turn off at dawn... and then that pesky closet light that my kids always leave on is scheduled to turn off every half hour. Oh... less frequently, i use them with Alexa to turn on things “Alexa, turn on my bedroom fan.” My electric bill has gone down ~$15/month (I’ll break even in 5-10 years lol)

Great, Alexa compatible switch. It says it needs neutral wire but since ground and neutral go to the same place in the fuse panel, I used the ground wire as a neutral and all works fine.

Works great! Easy install. We use it with Amazon Echo devices for voice control. Great to set scenes and automate lighting while away from home.

This switch is working great for us. Easy set up with the app once the switch is installed. Just make sure you have enough room in the box for all the wires as this switch is pretty deep!

I had GE smart switches for my Smartthings hub throughout my home, but they regularly fail with small storms and minor power fluctuations and cost $40 each. I have been replacing them with these, they do work with Smartthings (indirectly), are much cheaper, and so far have never had one fail even after several storms and power surges where I lost more GE switches.

Works great! Easy to set up Kasa has great how to videos.... just make sure your home has a neutral wire or this product will not work.

this switch works as advertised and is very easy to install and use with amazon alexa or you control it with your phone or the normal way that you would use a light switch

These switches are the absolute best! I use them throughout my home and love them. First off, the the step by step instructions in the app make installation easy. Next, connecting them to your network is a piece of cake. Lastly, the quality of materials and the aesthetics are top notch. I have 9 of these around my house and have not had a minute of trouble with any of them. The network connection is stable and reliable. The app makes operating easy and the ability to connect to my Echo devices is a huge bonus.

I won the first version that is not compatible with alexa or google and even though it can only be programmed when i'm at home on the wifi, i still love it. I replaced the light switch for my front porch with this and have the lights on a schedule. Work's great and my neighbor noticed that my lights come one with a set schedule and was wanting to know more so they can do theirs too. Plus i got these at a great price. Got 2 of em even though I may not use em much.

Great product to use with Wi-Fi and it is easy to install

An awesome product, easy to install and easy to use. Best part is the app and integration to google home/nest. Definitely worth what paid for. I purchased two and installed. Wife wanted more so we purchased 3 more and will eventually replace all. I will also begin using the plugs as well. Added benefit was setting up a timer via the app so I now have the outdoor lights go on and off automatically. Can also use the app to turn on and off manually. The real thrill is using google voice activated to turn on and off.

Opted to purchase this over the Wemo due to better price and would use these in the future over Wemo, works just as well and easier to set up

Great price on sale. Love being able to control lights with out getting up. Also can torn light on anf off when not at home.
