Customer Ratings & Reviews

Router is in the front of the house. Have a back porch finished off. That jets out beyond the house. TV was buffering a lot and couldn't want a certain streaming programs that I pay for. This was inexpensive, simple to install hooked up without issue. Tap is extremely simple to operate to check the signal. It's really foolproof. Even though it's the cheapest one they had it works very well. I stream Cinemax. Amazon, Hulu, Netflix which all previously buffered so bad you couldn't watch a show. Now it connects flawlessly and no buffering. Very quick response on the TV now to the signals. Everything loads of each app quickly and instantly. I just put the extender in the upstairs at the back of the house as you go down the stairs. The signal reaches the back porch without issue. Definitely would recommend this again especially because it's very inexpensive. I would recommend this product.

This WiFi extender was a great investment and I should have purchased it a long time ago. I had issues connecting my wireless printer due to the location and once I set up and connected the TP Link, no more issues. The set up was quick and easy and the App is great. Such a great purchase and I have multiple devices connected with super fast speeds.

Took me a few months to hook it up because I didnt know if I was going to be able to. It was easy. My spectrum router is in living room and wanted to get more reach and speed in bedrooms. It worked great and gives its own wifi network name and password. It doesnt compromise my main router’s speed. Not that I noticed and we run 5 phones, 3 ipads, 3 smart tv’s security cameras and wifi plugs and lights and a ps5. Best when bought on sale. Wait, it goes back on sale often.

I have 98 Wi-Fi devices in my smart home, and I live in a 2K SqFt condo. The walls that separate each room are concrete slabs, not just drywall and 2 x 4s. I have had an Xfinity Pod for a long time connected to gig-speed Wi-Fi, and the farthest room still had issues. After a lot of research, I decided to try this product out, and all the lagging in my far room is gone. I love it and highly recommend it!

Set this up to boost my Wi-Fi in a room that barely got signal before, and it made a big difference. Speeds are way better now and more stable—especially when gaming or streaming. Setup was simple with the app, and it’s been working solid since. It’s not magic, but for the price, it gets the job done and saves you a lot of headaches if you’ve got dead zones.

This device was so easy to set up. The quick install instructions were perfect for me and it worked immediately. It does a great job enhancing the signal through a cinder block wall to an outdoor generator 5 feet away from the house. Hints on where to place the unit for best results were spot on. I can now even update the system software in my car outside the garage in the driveway. I am very satisfied.

Excellent product for extending your network. Easy to setup and connect with your cell phone and TP-Link connect app. I use the built in network cable port to directly plug in my computer for better reliability. A little bulky so it will not fit behind a cabinet or a very tight space as the antenna rotate up to get best reception. The value for price makes this a definite Best buy!

Got this to extend internet into dead areas for outdoor cams and streaming.. works good and does the job.. connected this to my gaming laptop and got some good speeds and easy to setup

This wifi extender RE505X AX1500 is definitely doing its job! TP Link certainly surpassed my expectations. I've set it up on access point mode to grant maximum speed allowed to and through the extender. Gives me about 150 to 200mbps, that's more than enough! I would definitely recommend this to anyone seeking extended wifi range + coverage.

An overall great purchase! I bought this as I moved my home office into the garage which is detached from the house. The extender was able to pick up the signal and provide a steady, fast, and reliable connection. As I am constantly on Google Meet, speed was important and even going through the two walls and some distance, it still delivers!

Ive always been skeptical about extenders until my bro recommended this one. So I tried it out and let me tell u.... I'm so glad I did, it was able to cover my entire house but also go through walls with wires, electronics and other people using it. My signal went from a turtles 15-30mbps all the way up to 300mbps. I definitely would recommend to anyone.

Super easy to setup and works great, love the fact it has an Ethernet port so I don’t have to run a cable through my whole house just to have a wired connection on my gaming PC.

Works great as a Wi-Fi extender. Good signal within 30ft. Both 2.4G and 5G. Good for ring cameras and electronic devices. Streams movies and live events without buffering.

I recently used a Wi-Fi range extender while vacationing in the beautiful mountains of Massanutten, Virginia, and it exceeded all expectations! Despite the remote location, the extender provided strong, reliable connectivity throughout our cabin and even outdoors. Streaming, video calls, and browsing were seamless without a single drop in signal. Setup was quick and hassle-free, making it a perfect companion for mountain getaways. Highly recommended for anyone needing dependable Wi-Fi in challenging environments!

The best thing I could have done in order to work from home and also have better streaming experience is invest in this product. It works wonders! I an able to work from home with ease and connect to my gaming system for better performance and quality of service.

This thing is awesome! I love that it both works as a mesh extender or an access point. I decided to wire Ethernet upstairs and use this as my access point and I couldn’t be happier.

I love this wi-fi extender. It is best when put into an ethernet port. If you try to extend it wirelessly you're really not going to get any better reception within that area so it is best to plug it into an Ethernet and when you do plug it in then the Wi-Fi extender works exceedingly good. The only issue is if you have too many clients on that Wi-Fi extender it starts to have Jitters and will sometimes be slow but for the most case it is really nice especially in areas of your room where you don't get the best of Wi-Fi but you have an ethernet port

So many options in wifi extenders and after review of different models went with TP-link as well known reliable brand. The AX1500 was around $71 so not cheap but not too expensive. Main modem is in basement and using phone in first floor living room the signal wasn't very strong and worked on sun porch, which is right off kitchen, but phone lost signal once went on deck. Extender now in bedroom close to area in basement where modem is located. Now can get wifi signal on deck and even in our driveway. Download speed has doubled. Happy so far with performance and easy to setup.

I was a bit skeptical when purchases a wifi extender in all honesty. Once I set it up and connect the El Cinco, I no longer lag during gameplay and it helps me maximize the potential of my P5. Dont regret purchasing

I must say, this is the most satisfactory Wi-Fi extender I have ever purchased. It operates swiftly and dependably, and it has successfully extended my network's reach to the outdoor areas.
