needed a card to extend my time on my trac fone , its perfect for emergencies and as a phone while on vacation. I don't need a phone strapped to my ear all day , what ever the problem, it can wait till I get home to a landline .

I've been using Tracfone for my phone needs since 2010, and it's saved me hundreds of dollars over contract phone service. Depending on the phone you choose and your location, Tracfone uses the networks primarily of AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon, enabling Tracfone to claim the best coverage available in the U.S. Just to clarify, these cards work with Tracfone-branded handsets or your own phone with appropriate Tracfone SIM card and activation with Tracfone, available on the Tracfone website.

The Trackfone prepaid wireless airtime card is required for activation. A small, fairly inexpensive item necessary to get you started with your I' phone. Available on line, but the convenience of Best Buy, perhaps while doing other shopping, makes it very easy - especially when the store assistant helps you with the activation, which sometimes for the elderly buyer isn't as easy as a computer site makes it sound. So again, it's a simple card, but Best Buy makes it easy for the consumer.

Tracfone prepaid works for me since I mainly just use my cell phone for emergencies. I like the 60 min cards since they are the cheapest option. My son has switched plans since he wanted something with unlimited texting, but my daughter and I both still use Tracfone by purchasing the 60 min cards four times a year. It's about the cheapest cell phone service we can find. If you want cheap it's cheap, but it may not have enough minutes for you if you use your phone a lot.

I have been with TracFone for almost a year, and have had no issues adding time to my pay-as-you-go phone. I add time using the top-up card through the TracFone website, and have found it quick and easy to do. My wife and I both had phones with another pay-as-you-go provider, and she repeatedly had problems adding time to her phone; not so with me and TracFone. When her phone finally quits working, she is going to move to TracFone as well.
