From playing the PSP version to playing the PS5 version, the legends of heroes trails from the sky is so amazing. I think this is the best RPG of the year.

This game is amazing! It's highly faithful to the original and keeps all of the charm while updating the graphics and gameplay for modern standards. Music and setting are magical and the story is as good as I remember. It's a bit slow in the beginning, but keep playing and you'll experience one of the best stories in video gaming history. This series has so many games in it that it's hard to recommend newcomers where to start. However, with this first game being remade, it's now the definite best place to start.

Buy this game. Support this series. This is what a remake should be. QoL improvements, new story beats, visuals, music, its all here. This is slowly becoming my favorite series for so many reasons, but Trails 1st is among the top.

If you haven't played the original Trails in the Sky, I highly recommend it. The new remake is one of the best remakes I have seen for a game in a long time. It stays true to the original with updated game mechanics making this the best experience for playing Trails In the Sky 1st.

I went into this game with impossible standards, it surpassed them. Amazing hybrid battle system, excellent story and pacing. So much fun. 11 out of 10. Basically perfect. Took me ~54 hours to complete the story.

A great remake of an old classic game and finally a way for newcomers and returning fans to enjoy the beginning of a great series!

First Chapter is a faithful and thoughtful remake that beautifully modernizes the visuals and gameplay without losing the heart of the original. The updated presentation and smoother mechanics make exploring Liberl an absolute joy, and it’s clear the developers poured real care into this overhaul. My only minor gripe—though not necessarily a flaw—is that the story feels more like an extended prologue, setting the stage for what’s to come rather than standing completely on its own. Still, it’s a deeply enjoyable adventure that lays an excellent foundation for the series’ future chapters.

Love this game. So glad that the company has taken the time to remaster this game.
