The phone is CDMA locked, which means that you will not be able to use it with Sprint. However, the GSM/LTE radios enabled by the SIM card are unlocked. You can use this on T-Mobile and AT&T and anywhere else in the world that uses the standard that is GSM/HSPA/LTE. And for education LTE is a form of GSM evolved technology hence the SIM card. This resulted from Verizon's 700 MHz purchase via the FCC. They are honoring the agreement that the GSM portion will remain unlocked. I am currently using this phone with a T-Mobile Sim card and it is working flawlessly. So if you plan on using T-Mobile or AT&T you're getting a $400 phone for half the price.

I picked this up for my 13 year old son, and feel like its the perfect design...its a lot more durable than the newer larger iPhones 6/7/8/X. Its also better since its smaller, it fits in his smaller pockets better. Add to all this, its an iPhone - great camera, iOS, etc. App makers focus on iPhone so there are more available than Android.

Verizon offers True unlimited data, but as a prepaid service, NO support for Hotspot. Phone is a great start-up for first time Apple users.

I wanted an upgrade in camera and features without having to carry around a flat-screen TV. I have owned the 4 & 5 and the SE gave me what I was looking for in the same size package. Battery life seems a lot longer and the live photo feature is enjoyable. Apps seem to load faster and I like its ability to keep track of my daily activity (steps and mileage).

Although this is a quiet old phone, it's still fast on day to day use. Excellent build quality, super nice screen and good camera! iOS is one of the best smartphone systems and this little phone will support iOS 13 and hopefully iOS 14. I think you can't find better smartphone at this price!

My daughter bugged her dad and I to get rid of our flip phones and Get an iPhone. All I can say is if you have an iPad you can operate an iPhone with ease. We love ours. My husband uses his in his business. Taking pictures of cut stone and sending the customer a picture in a text. Absolutely fantastic!

Great phone. Powerful chip and superb battery life

This Iphone was made by Apple as a SE special edition for good reason. Small size that is light and fits in your pocket, runs all of today's apps smoothly and looks and feels nostalgic. Combined with the Verizon pre pay, I use this as my second phone which is an Android, and it still holds up.

The fact that this is the smallest IPHONE makes it a winner. What didn't work was the fact that as a Verizon Postpaid customer, I cannot convert this phone to my plan. Verizon told me something different. Unopened, I had to return this, but got one through a different channel

I bought this to replace my trusty iPhone 5 which lasted almost 5 years. Hesitated to get a new one because I hate big phones, but luckily Apple makes the SE which is so similar to my old 5 that even my cases still fit. It’s like the 5 only better. I love the touch ID feature and the camera is brilliant. The only con is that the battery still isn’t great and doesn’t even seem to last as long as it did on my old phone. Also it arrived locked, even though it was supposed to be activated for Verizon, but a very helpful Best Buy team member finally resolved the issue with Verizon for me.

I wanted this size and system upgrade from my old model 4. Only dislikes are the camera resolution--it seems worse than my old camera, and the fact that this phone turns on spontaneously. This sometimes becomes evident when my pocket starts getting hot. Otherwise, a good product.

For the last 10 years I've always owned an android phone. I just recently receive my apple se and its amazing the size is perfect (smaller than my previous phone) so far I love it. The camera it's far the best. I love the phone, would recommend it

I was using iphone 5 and just purchased this SE to replace it. It is gorgeous considering the price! It has a A9 chip, just like the processor in iphone 6s. Runs super fast and smooth. Also it has good front camera for pictures. Love it.
