Customers are impressed with the picture quality, particularly the black levels and HDR performance of this TV. Many also praised the contrast and color accuracy, while some found the price to be exceptionally good value. However, negative feedback focused on the remote control's usability and the upscaling capabilities for lower-resolution content.

Great Picture and Clarity, tablet a Lil wonky
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great TV and side-by-side with more expensive TVs I thought it out performed them (except oleds blacks) - the remote is an android tablet that locks up sometimes and fails to cast enough that it is very frustrating, but my phone never has a problem casting so its not big concern but they need to make the remote/tablet more bullet proof to be worth using instead if remote

Incredible tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv has one of the most amazing pictures ever. Its black levels are almost like oled or older plasma tv's. Only downside is the tablet "remote." My phone is faster and more reliable so I never really used the tablet that came with the tv. After initial setup I used only my Logitech remote to control everything. Wanting: this tv does not come with a built in tuner. Not an issue for me at all and you can pick one up on the cheap. Definitely worth the savings on this set.

Great tv for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As Vizio's upper end model, this display packs a lot of performance for the price. The display features 4K, supports both HDR standards (Dolby Vision and HDR10), and has 128 active zones of independent localized dimming which is a fancy way to say that the darks can look darker and brights brighter than on edge-lit sets. 4K HDR gaming/movies from an Xbox One S look fantastic. It's a great display. I rated it a 4/5 mainly because the tablet remote (and basic remote) feel lightweight/cheap and the execution is still fairly gimmicky. I've been using it for a month and appreciate that you don't have to drill down menus on the display itself but it still isn't super intuitive. It's nice you can also pair it with your smart phone, but I find I use my regular cable box remote more than most other options. Perhaps if I was subscribed to more of the services you can cast from the tablet it would be used more for its intended purpose. The other reason for the 4/5 was the first display got home and plugged in and was clearly defective with severe panel issues out of the box. Best Buy was able to deliver a replacement a few days later (thanks, Best Buy!!) and the new one was fine and has worked without issue since. Give it a look. It might just surprise you.

Great TV!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Price for quality can't be beat. Great image and look. Tv doesn't have great sound out of it, not sure who uses sound out of the tv anymore. Also doesn't have a spot for local antenna.

Best UHD TV on the market forces or the price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The image quality on the Vizio P series is simply gorgeous. The blacks are near OLED deep, and colors are crisp and outstanding. Excellent for video games and blu rays look outstanding. Dobly Vision UHD movies are just jaw-dropping. Best bang for the buck.

excellent 4K TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading information on TV and comparing to other 65 in. TV's this Vizio has been all that I expected. We have been able to view 4K football games the past two Saturdays.

Great TV with few kinks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Great picture. deep blacks. Great bang for the buck. Cons: SmartCast is virtually useless as of now, super buggy and frustrating to use, hopefully software updates should fix it. Sound is poor. Guess I can forgive that as most of us have a surround sound.

Best 4K with HDR for the money!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read all the reviews and made multiple visits to Best Buy to view all the top rated 4K TVs. For the money I would rate the Vizio P65 the best of them all. I am really into accurate color and picture reproduction and after you get past the pop of the Sony, Samsung and LG sets and watch real video and not just the demos, the Vizio P65 is hard to beat. The OLED from LG is the only set that I might have chosen over the Vizio but it was almost twice the price. I spent some time once I got my set home and calibrated it using some of the recommendations from the many reviews that I had read. I am even more impressed now than I was at the store. Everyone that has viewed the Vizio says it is the best picture they have seen on a TV. 4K videos are amazing and those with HDR are incredible. I am very happy with my purchase and can see why the reviews are so good on this set. Way to go Vizio!!!

Pretty darn awesome tv!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely stunning picture! As far as the android tablet, I love it. If you have used any smart phone whatsoever then the tablet that so many label "difficult" is not true at all. The best part is while you or your family and friends are watching what's on the tv, someone else can have the tablet playing with it or looking for the next thing to watch or cast. Love being able to adjust picture settings on the tablet and having full screen viewing without all the text and numbers scrolling on the screen. Allows better fine tuning with picture. In all honesty my only complaint, which will not get any better than this tv unless you step up and drop the crazy coin right now on an OLED tv, is the side viewing on this thing gets a touch hazy and washed out. Like I said, not a deal breaker for me, especially how crazy cheap this tv is for the quality of picture. Really love this thing and super happy so far. It has been about a month so only time will tell on longevity of this, but so far, no regret at all!!

Can't beat the quality for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Read reviews for this tv. Not the best for Daytime viewing, but CAN NOT BE BEAT for the quality vs. Price for Movies. Nearly OLED in a dark room.

Great picture quality at a fraction of OLED price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Vizio seems to get that some people want a fairly minimalistic TV with a great picture. Building apps into TVs just doesn't make sense. Each TV-maker chooses a different incomplete set of apps to include, user-interface quality is lacking, and updates are late or cease altogether. While this set does have the tablet and Cast support, I've found it is best when just acting as a gorgeous display for my Apple TV. For a few shows, like Netflix's Marco Polo, I'll go through the Cast process to access 4K & DolbyVision, and the picture is even better, but just using it with 1080p input from the Apple TV 4 is still a far better viewing experience than I had with my 2010 Panasonic plasma, which this replaced.

Great picture

Excellent Image Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent image quality, no tuner, no problem if you have cable or satellite, it doesn't matter, if you mostly stream from Internet piece of cake. Want add a tuner, they can be purchased for about 40 bucks. I will say like most flat screens, the internal speakers are not adequate, I'd always have a sound bar or surround system anyway.

Amazing picture!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So after playing with the settings(which you should do for any 4K tv) I couldn't be happier! This is truly a top notch tv. The P-series was worth the money and easily competes with other professional 4K ultra black smart tvs. The only part I'm not the fondest of is the tablet remote as it has trouble pairing/sync issues

Amazing picture, great value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am extremely happy with th purchase of this TV. The picture quality is outstanding. The colors are vibrant and it produces the blackest blacks ever. While watching a letter boxed film, the black bands disappear. The tablet that comes with it is nice but I generally use the simple button remote more often.

Best TV I've ever purchased!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow is all I can say! I have owned the high end Samung SUHD TVs in the past and they just don't hold a candle to the Vizio! Deep blacks, fantastic contrast and an easy to use tablet to boot! Great for watching movies in the dark. Comes ready to play Dolby Vision and HDR10 stuff! Can't go wrong here!

Great TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Vizio tv within a year. I have now a 60" and a 65". Pictures are excellant, set up is easy, and the apps that are loaded are so easy to go to. I have Amazon, NetFlix, and YouTube just two clicks away. I would definitely buy this TV again and what you get for the price is amazing.

Good price, great picture, some issues.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture is great and produces excellent blacks. Not a fan of the Android tablet remote however (a lot of Casting issues). I use my iPad to cast NetFlix and YouTube instead.

Two reviews in one
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading the reviews, and looking at the specs, I went with the Vizio P-65. First, the screen. It's everything you have read. It is a terrific picture from my satellite dish. Crisp colors, humans look....almost human. Easy to hookup, more inputs than I need. The trim isn't great but I don't worry much about it. The picture fills the screen edge to edge. While I like the idea of the tablet replacing the tuner in the tv but you will be somewhat frustrated in learning how to use it. It will get better with use but it is not intuitive. I tried YouTube from the tablet, and the picture was halting. I then tried it through Apple TV and it was perfect. I question Google and its interface. I did watch some recorded material from my computer, and wow great upgrade in the picture

Great TV. Great Value.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is such a great value for the money. You cannot beat the value it provides. It is one of the best bangs for your buck. It has full array backlighting, superb black levels (nearing oled levels), HDR support including dolby vision and soon to be HDR10 support within 90 days from launch. The tablet remote interface is intuitive, but takes some time to get used to. The overall experience will get much better with updates as the months go on. Overall, I am extremely happy and would recommend to someone again.
