The set that I purchased has worked wonderfully for me. The second phone I use in the bedroom, saves time running to the living room. Excellent buy for the money.

We just purchased this brand because we have another like it at home. Two other famous brand phones have croaked, while the V-techs keep on keepin' on!

The phones were easy to set up and over all I am happy with them. The sales people were very helpful at Best Buy and I have no complaints at all.

I purchased this phone system for my elderly, hearing-impaired Father. We thought it was perfect at first. The quality was good and the answering machine was easy to use. It was a little cumbersome to set up contacts and auto dials, but I did it for him. But after a couple of test calls, we realized it was not loud enough for someone with hearing loss and was already set as loudly as possible. I am an Audiologist, but neglected to check if there was a maximum volume for speaking. Ringer was fine. I am hoping I can get a return for store credit so he can pick out another system. He lives in Florida and the return time was quite short. I think the phone would be great for normal hearing or mild hearing loss people.

I recently went back to a landline in my home (have grandchildren living with me and wanted the security of stable available home phone) was looking for phone with answering machine option and speaker phone. I shopped several places as cost and look was big factor for me. I like the slimness of the phone and it looks good. I think for what I needed I got an exceptional value at a very reasonable price. (came with 2nd phone & charger - which is really great since I never thought about having phone in another room) Only wish I'd read box little better as I really prefer hands free device for dialing out.

I have a level home and my children really like talking on the phone so I got one main base and multiple smaller bases. The best part is when they have been using the phones and they are all over the house I can push the button on my base and locate all of them. Plus I can put bases around the house so there is always a charging dock close. The sound quality is clear and the reception is great regardless of where we are in the house. I have yet to drive off with it so I don't know how far away the range is. I would buy this phone again if I had it to do all over again. Great price, easy to hold (even for little hands) and awesome that multiple handsets can charge on any of the chargers!

I mostly use my cell these days, but I still need a land line from time to time. I only wanted a simple system with two handsets, but I really wanted the handsets to have a speakerphone. There were a lot of higher end setups with 4, 6, or even 8 handsets and all kinds of bells and whistles, but I didn't need all that. I finally found the VTech. I was a little worried that because it was inexpensive that maybe the reception or the speakers would be crummy, but they're both great. I've had the system for a couple of months now and I've been really happy it. I would definitely recommend it.

Great features on phone, lightweight, can use either handset (if battery is depleting on one by talking too long) am able to understand the messages on the answering machine. Great price for two phones.

VTech - DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone System with Digital Answering System - Silver/Black is a solid phone, the intercom feature is useful for waking up those over-sleeping teenagers. The speaker phone feature fantastic, the sound is clear and the microphone is sensitive to pick up a speaker without picking up extraneous noise from the room. For the price, I would recommend this phone not only for the features, but for the ability to expand by purchasing additional handsets.

These phones have very good sound quality and all the features I need such as portability, speaker, and caller ID.

This phone is very adequate. Easy to set up. Like the answering machine and caller ID features.

In addition to easy setup and features, phone package comes with second phone that doesn't need to be connected to a phone jack. I especially like the speaker feature that let's you set the phone down if you have multiple listeners. One negative - when you answer a call with another phone, this one lists the call as a missed call. Overall, system works well and provides good value at a fair price.

We got this for my mom to replace her older Panasonic unit. It was easy to program and easy to hook up. She likes the sound quality. Her only complaint is that for her, the numbers in the LCD display are smaller than her previous model. I guess for a person with good eyesight or glasses, the size of the display isn't a big deal. Overall, not a bad phone unit.

I bought this handset and answering machine to replace an old phone set that finally gave out. This set was easy to set up, the answering machine easy to use and the handset sound quality is good and clear. Unfortunately I live in a small apartment, so I can't really tell you if the range is exceptional or not. It works fine for me though. Pleased with this product for the price.

VTech expandable cordless phone system works nicely with my VoIP service, sound quality is good overall and the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is the size of the phone. The features are what I was looking for and set up is easy, the only thing is the phone is too small for me.

I bought this phone with my accumulared Best Buy Bonus Points and it was just what I needed and wanted. It was super easy to set up and so far works just great. I like that it has Speaker and Volume control buttons. I also like that the entire phone keyboard and display lights up when you touch it. The voice clarity is great, both for me and those I call.

I got a cable bundle that came with a home phone so I purchased this phone. So far the phone has been worth the purchase. I was able to navigate through the phone without having to read the instructions. The system had a sleek look and it is stylish. Definitely worth buying.

had to replaced 10 year old phones. great cost easy to set up. just plug in and charge up.when charged they are ready to use. the sound,caller id,message system are very easy to use. for the price/quality a very great value.

Setup and operation of the phone, including recording a custom greeting, was simple. Sound quality is good and playback from the answering machine is also good. My only complaint is that the wall mounting bracket does not completely cover the wall jack faceplate, but it is similar in that respect to other phones I've evaluated.
