    Great Affordable Cintiq!

This Cintiq has made work easier to accomplish on Photoshop. It was very easy to set up, all you have to do aside from the automatic setup process is download the required driver in order for this tablet to run correctly and be recognized by your computer. • You have to have a computer to run this tablet, it is not like an iPad. • This tablet has a 72% NTSC color display, which, some artists are rather sensitive about that sort of thing but the slight color difference doesn’t bother me. • This tablet does not come with a stand or the express key remote, there are no express keys built onto the tablet. (Instead of spending $80 on the Cintiq 16–specific stand, I purchased a $10 laptop stand on Amazon instead. This Cintiq is thin enough to fit on any standard laptop stand! This will save you extra! (I have attached a picture of it)) All in all, a very lovely tablet! I have always stuck with Wacom, and they’ve always exceeded my expectations. This is my third Wacom tablet that I’ve owned. To me, the difference between Wacom and other drawing tablet brands is like the difference between Apple and Android. I prefer quality, and Wacom seems to hold the standard for best quality. Don’t hesitate, get this drawing tablet!

Great display for someone on an average budget. Good for 3D texturing and sculpting. Response time is great. Pen pressure works great. It doesn't have any buttons on the display itself, but I use keyboard shortcuts so that hasn't affected me. The more you use it the more small scratches will appear on the screen. It probably happens more as the pen nibs wear out and get flat spots. You'll want to have extra nibs for a smooth experience. Overall it's good for the price. I recommend getting the Wacom adjustable Landscape stand if you want to use it in a better position as a second monitor, or if you want to use it hanging off the edge of your desk.

I purchased for my 11 year old son who uses the drawing pad for animation in adobe animate and thoroughly enjoy drawing with pad. He likes the customization of changing the pen sensitivity to improve work flow, and the short cuts are compatible with adobe animate. cons: not fully compatible with 2019 imac that requires an adapter for the imac (usb type c digital av multiport adapter). overall we highly recommend this product for novice learners or professionals who expect consistency and dependability.

Bought this for my girlfriend for graphic designing! She absolutely loves it! She says the pen is amazing and does exactly what she wants the strokes to look like all based on the pressure she uses! Her favorite programs to use it with are Adobe illustrator, creative cloud and photoshop! Only thing I didn’t know was that it had to be used with a separate computer and once you download the free software it comes with you can’t download it to another computer! I didn’t know that when I purchased it. I wonder now if an iPad would have been better. She loves it though and that is all that matters. We did end up buying a laptop for her to use it with as well. Just don’t love that it all has to have cords to be used not making it an on the go item. Again depends on what you are looking for. The capabilities it offers however with drawing are incredible!

Best purchase I have ever made as an Artist. For many years I wanted a Drawing Tablet, but, ultimately, I looked at the prices, said, it probably won't track right, and, I probably would never be able to figure out how to use it. I was wrong. This Tablet is very easy to use, works beautifully, and allows me to do detail work I only dreamed of using just a mouse. Highly Recommend.

Wacom Cintique 16 Deserves Its Great Rep

I purchased my Wacom Cintique 16 pen tablet because I am a serious 'analog' artist who has decided to join the digital art world. The pen sensitivity and texture of the screen give a very natural feel to creating art which has made the transition easier--something important to me as the program (I'm using Corel Painter) is challenging enough for a digital newbie. The excellent reviews I watched were very convincing. While my efforts are still a beginner's, I'm absolutely certain I'll have satisfying digital art very soon. Also, it matters to me that the Wacom is made in Japan, a country I trust. It's a top-of-the-line component and worth every dime, if you take art seriously.

I am a student studying 3D art and illustration, and have been very impressed with this tablet! I had to play with the display settings to get the screen to be bright enough and have accurate colors to my other monitors, but otherwise have had zero issues. Simple and easy to use. Love that I don't have to charge the pen.

The Wacom Cintiq Tablet is the "Bomb" I have been using Wacom Bamboo tablet which was great. The Wacom Cintiq tablet is light-years above the Bamboo. To be able to paint on the screen is like painting on a canvas, so much easier to paint and to be able to see your results.

This is a great tablet. I love having my stylus where the picture is, rather than having to try and synch my movements with what is happening on the computer screen. Much better for someone who has less artistic abilities than others. I also love the pressure sensitivity. Great for my cover art.

Good performance, very little lag. But huge parallax, washed out color (similar to cintiq companion from 10 yrs ago). The reason for 2 star is because product defects. There’s a dead pixel straight out of box. This is the second I find issue with a brand new Wacom product. Poor quality control as always.

Box came a bit scuffed but that's because Best buy only packaged ONE side of the box with air protection pack, the other side was vulnerable to damage. So far I haven't noticed any visible exterior damage I will update later if I notice anything. Overall the Cintiq 16 is pretty good for all levels on animators and artists but at the price point (nearly $700) I can't recommend this to anyone who only does these things as a hobby.

After using the Wacom Intuos for a few years, I finally decided to try a pen display! The Cintiq was easy to install on my iMac and works beautifully! I don't think I'll ever be able to use a non display tablet again- I now have one for home and office! The size is perfect for my work and home office spaces -- Not too big but large enough that I am not hunching over and squinting. The display is clear and crisp, but colors are maybe not as brilliant and bright as my main monitor, I do a lot of color selection on my main monitor and will toggle photoshop back and forth between the monitor and Cintiq occasionally as I work. The drawing surface provides a little bit of resistance to the pen, which gives a closer feeling of drawing on paper. I found the pen to be very responsive and the pressure sensitivity to be more than adequate for my purposes.

This is a very high quality product. We have used the WACOM pen tablet for years for art in Photoshop. This is display tablet is another level. My Cintiq 16 displays colors, contrast and brightness the same as my IMac and Windows Laptop. The pen feels like the other WACOM pens as there are no batteries to recharge or replace (unlike HUION ). The texture on the screen is natural paper feel. There is no lag between pen cursor and my drawing action. If space is an issue for you, then you might want the smaller WACOM. I also had to buy a HDMI adapter to thunderbolt drive as IMAC doesn't have HDMI connections.

I have used tablets for 20 years or more, since they were serial port systems. There's really not too much information that gets polled by these things. Now we have had angle, pressure and velocity for years, but it's the ability for these tablets to actually respond as fast as we draw which is important, without jumping etc. I find my 50" 4k tv works great with a 2080ti 10gb gpu, but this also works on a really old laptop with only 1600x900 res and 2 core 4 thread about 3.1ghz. Photoshop works well, Lazy Nuemi Pro aids a lot in the artistic flow of the pen (it's a plugin) and in most other paint, watercolor, 2d vector stuff like illustrator it is fine. 3d sculpting works well too. There's something about hand eye coordination that keeps your view clear as the hand is on the tablet not on a screen you're looking at. It's great, for some they prefer the visual cueing.

The Wacom Cintiq 16 is a professional device that offers good performance and quality for drawing and designing. I bought it for my daughter who loves to draw and wanted a device that was more focused on her art than on browsing the internet. The device was easy to set up and I did not encounter any problems with installing the software. It requires a USB and an HDMI port to connect to your desktop or laptop computer.
