I was lucky enough to come across one of these at a local music store (sorry Best Buy) about 2 years ago. This is by far the best bass I have ever held in my hands. I am a cabinet maker by trade and the craftsmanship on this bass is incredible, it is truly a work of art. I have been playing off and on for 25 years and this is incredible, I have owned everything from Fender's, G&L's, a Kubicki ExFactor (Stuart Hamm fans will know) and I absolutely love this thing. I also have and original Woodstock, NY built 5-string Spector (which I also love) and a 4 & 5 String Acoustic bass. If had to sell everything and just keep one, it would be the Warwick. It is just a beautiful piece of art and sounds every bit as good as it looks. You can use a pick (real bassist don't pick, my opinion), finger style, slap, pluck and tap and it all sounds incredible. You will NEVER feel sorry, sell your house, sell your car - buy this bass.
