Watchmen is one of the best comic book movies ever made, The Ultimate Cut is the superior way to watch the movie for it contains the director's cut and it has the short movie The Black Freighter edited into the movie in the same manner that it appears in the original comic book, Everything looked amazing in the 4k format.

I watched this movie like two times before, but never really understood why people loved it so much. Then I bought 'The Watchmen' graphic novel and read it before I watched it for the third time, and it was much better. I couldn't believe that it was actually pretty good this time. If you want to see this movie, I recommend buying and reading the graphic novel first. You'll be glad you did.

I feel this is an underrated hero movie, especially with much more familiar character movies that maybe out. But this movie, if a much darker and has allot of story to it. I think this movie comes to life on 4K w/ HDR. I really enjoyed watching it again, and this has a ton of extra content.

Such an underrated film from the modern American cinematic movement of the late 2000s. It is, in my humble opinion, a timeless classic and well-done example of how to truly make a live action comic book/graphic novel adaption to the big screen. The visuals are stunning in 4K UHD and only serve to enhance what is already a jaw dropping experience.

Amazing movie. I'm not a huge comic reader but I actually read this as it was recommended by a friend. The movie was great and the extended additions added a little more punch to it. I love the story and the resolution, even if some of the movie itself can be extremely cheesy at times. If you can look past the cheese, it's an amazing film.

Wanted to rewatch the original (years after first viewing) after seeing the HBO miniseries. 4K picture & stereo sound are crisp & clean. I like the inclusion of the comic book scenes, even if the movie drags in certain places. Great price for 4K directors cut.

The movie itself is good. I really did enjoy Watchmen. It's one of the few comic based movies that stays almost 100% true to the comics. Yes it's long but I love long movies and want more in face. However, the case might be cool but it didn't include the digital. If not for the sale price and steelbook, I wouldn't have got this version without the copy.

Now when i think of movie i would love to see get the 4K treatment Watchmen would have been right up there, I thought the style of the movie would lend itself perfectly to the sharper and more vibrant format, sadly the improvements weren't as stark as i was expecting, fairly grainy in scenes. The movie is still absolutely awesome though.

If you have the time, this is a worthwhile adaptation of the classic graphic novel.

I saw this movie in theaters back in 2009 when it first came out and it made such a lasting impression on me. The characters are so different from any other DC Comics movie that you've seen or will ever see. I already had this on blu-ray but had to get the 4k version for my Samsung 4k player. This version has even more scenes which are great!

Before Justice League, this was a superhero team movie set in the DC universe. Hits on many of the prescient topics of the day, and has a visually enthralling and multilayered story, but set aside a big chuck of tiny, as this version is over there hours.

When I first bought my 4k TV/Player this was one of the first 4k films I bought. Loved the book and enjoyed the movie just as much! It looks tremendous on 4k, Happy they went with the Ultimate Cut for the 4k release, definitely worth the buy if you love this flick. Also, the Dolby TrueHD sound mix is glorious!

Watchmen is probably one of my top DC films, definitely my top Alan Moore comic. The movie by Zach Snyder is just amazing, a beauty! The Ultimate Cut with the animated section isn't my favorite but i had to add this 4k version to my collection.

I wasn't burdened by anticipation when Watchmen came out because I hadn't read the comics, or graphic novels if you prefer, so I didn't know the story or the backgrounds of the story before it came out. That said, I greatly enjoyed the series of vignettes that populate this movie and how they all come together at the end to solve the mystery.

I saw the theatrical cut in theaters, and it took me at least 9 years to buy a copy, and it's alright. I recently bought the paperback book as well the story on which this was adapted from, which is why I gave it a 4/5 due to the differences, but other than that it's an alright movie to watch if you don't mind seeing some strange scenes.

This version is the best fit of the movie. Better than the theatrical release and the ultimate cut. The ultimate cut adds the short animated part of the comic and just doesn’t vibe with the movie. This version adds extra scenes that just make the overall experience better

This movie is one of the greatest comic book to film adaptations of all time. I believe this film is also underrated because it is slow paced and doesn't have a lot of action sequences but the story narrative and characters drive this movie. This movie may not be for everyone but if you're a fan of the classic DC novel you will love this movie

This is one of the few comic book movies that was done perfectly with only a few changes from the comic book storyline. One of the best DC movies ever made (up there with Dark Knight). The picture and sound quality of this 4K copy was perfect. A must have for any comic book movie collector.

This is more-so a quick review of the Steelbook rather than the movie: It's awesome. The finish is a smooth, matte one with the bloodied pin on the cover, and The Comedian being thrown out a window on the back. Note: this is ONLY the Blu-Ray disc with a special feature disc.. No DVD or Digital HD code.

This film may not have been a huge blockbuster that everyone hoped it would be but I find it very intriguing. Every character has very interesting back stories and the movie does a great job of spending an appropriate amount of time with each character. While it can feel a bit long at times, and it can be very dark as well, I find that I have enjoyed this movie the more times that I have watched it. Also, even though it isn't exactly like the comic, I felt it was a fair adaptation that was very close to the source material. So you should watch the Watchmen too! Steelbook doesn't really provide many additional features other than the extra widescreen format. I had the original on DVD and felt I needed the upgrade, plus I'm a sucker for steelbook. But if you aren't a steelbook collector, then it isn't very necessary to get this version if the regular case is available.
