It is a great value for the price $69. It is small and easy to setup and use.

The Passport Ultra was very easy to use once set up. The laptop I was backing up had Windows XP as the operating system so the device software was not recognized. The WD website provided the necessary links to download the correct software and then the device worked perfectly. The WD drive is great because it can be used just like a very large US drive to save just what was needed.

I have an older PC and it installed without any trouble. I transferred all of my photos and music to the external drive and it took less than 45 minutes; I had roughly 1TB worth of stuff. I can now access all of my personal stuff by just plugging in the external drive to any computer, it works!

This is a great HD at a great price. The fact that it is USB 3.0 makes transferring files a breeze, guess I was living under a rock for the past few years using USB 2.0!

After a month of use I have had no problems with this hard drive. Transferring data seems to be very quick over USB 3.0. It seems to be very well made too.
