This portable drive is a very convenient size and shape and works as advertised.

Simple set up, quick delivery and great price on deal of the day. Used as external storage for xbox one and synced up instantly when plugged in. Would definitely recommend - no problems and great buy so far!

I like to put my videos and music on this and hook up to my tv which is on a mount. My 500g hard drive had a 3 foot cable which was sufficient length. The my passport cable is only about 1 foot and caused the hard drive to keep coming unplugged. Overall the hard drive itself is great and well built, just wish they could have sprung for a good cable.

Plugged into an older computer to save information and even though all drivers didn't install we were still able to transfer them to the external hard drive.

My previous experience with inexpensive WD drives has been spotty. They are slower drive mechanisms, which is normal for the price range. USB3 or USB2 hardly makes a difference when the drive itself is the bottleneck. In one instance I had a WD drive fail out of warranty and when I opened the case to see if I could rescue data, the connector was completely non standard. Bottom line is it is reasonably priced but keep your proof of purchase for warranty and maintain 2 external drives for important backups.

This is a reliable external hard drive from Western Digital. The physical size of this drive is not slim like other manufactures.

Easy to format and setup as my default storage. Xbox One picked it right up and now all of my games will go there automagically.

This is just another great product from Western Digital. No fuss and does exactly what it's intended to do and does it well.
