Western Digital drives have always performed without issues for me. Should hold true for this newest drive. Very good sale price from Best Buy at time of purchase.

This unit plugged right in to a Windows 10 box and was recognized as a disk for the Windows File History Backup. Would rate higher, but I'm not a fan of on-board software. Although the software on this drive didn't interfere automatically. Which is a plus.

This product was used to replace an 10 year old WD external drive. It was easy to install and set up. There is plenty of memory and backing up is a lot faster.

This little guy is great for transferring large amounts of data over to another pc, plugging into routers for media storage, or just every day file backups.

My WD -Passport Ultra 1TB External USB 3.0/2.0 Portable Hard Drive is a great buy for extra space and operate smooth. Many extra programs on hard drive.

I purchased the passport for back-up during travel. Small and functional, easy to start using, and does what one would expect of an external hard drive.

Very nice compact unit. I attached it to my laptop with velcro and am still able to type easily with the keyboard. Easy set up for auto backups weekly.

This is my 2nd WD Drive purchased for my MacBook Pro. My first was only 350 GB, and was Very Useful for a Time. Recently, my Internal Hard Drive Corrupted, for the 2nd Time, and my current drive just didn't have enough space left to backup much data. This new drive has ove 4 Times the Space that my Internal Drive has. I was not only able to backup important Data, but also use as a Great Time Machine Backup Drive (unlike the much smaller previous drive). I am Happy with my Purchase, as usually, and would happily purchase one, again...and likely will do so!

No more worries of my laptop's memory. Great portable hard drive. I can now save as many files as I want.
