Great Product allowed my kids to upload lots of games on the PS5

So far so good. I use it for my Xbox One X and already have it 80% full of games. I’ve had bad luck with some other cheaper brands so hoping this one is different.

You are really getting your money's worth with this the PS5 memory is freaking horrible. So to extend my memory on my PS5 due to the fact that I have a lot of PS4 games I purchase this. There's two methods on how you can transfer your PS4 games to the extended memory. Method 1: you can download your PS4 games directly from your PS5. Method 2: directly into your PS4 and download them as well.

It got this on sale for $80. Best bang for the buck. Works great with my console for extra storage.

Works for ps5 BUT it’s really 4.5Tb not 5tb like it claims so 500gb is magically gone

This external usb drive is a lot in a small package. With plug in play feature, you're coping and transfering data, pictures, videos, and even large game files within minutes. I personally use mine to store PS4 and PS5 games on it, but if i wanted i have the option to play my PS4 right from the drive. Now that's fast, especially with most games being 4k navitive. Western Digital went above and beyond with this 3.2 hand held storage drive. This is the fastest writing true external hard drive to date, and the price is unbeatable in comparison to other major brands.

After having owned a few laptops since high school and them gathering dust when I would upgrade to a new one, I decided to condense my loads of files into my new, main PC going forward. With at least three laptops that I needed to move all the files off of and set to my new PC, I needed something that was quick, portable, and sturdy as it was a lot of old photos, songs, and other memorabilia that I didn't want to lose any part of. After checking a few portable storage drives and their respective reviews, I landed on this one. While it is marketed as a gaming hard drive, which I'm sure it is absolutely a beast in its own right when used for that, I instead opted to use this drive to move all computer files to so that I could move everything all in one shot. The transfer and write speeds are decent, especially for the type of storage drive it is and how much space it has available, it had enough storage to condense files from three laptops into one in just a single transfer, and it still had over two TB of free space to use! It has since been made to be a drive to hold personal files, but whenever I need to move large, numerous files this is more than enough! It has come in handy for me so many times and should last for a long, long while before I want to upgrade to another portable hard drive!

Ok i knew beforehand that on your PS5 you are unable to play downloaded PS5 games directly from this hard drives but only PS4 games. That being said I LOVE THIS! It's not a big deal to store your PS5 games here and transfer time back to your onboard storage for play is quick enough. Current price point is unbeatable right now compared to installing a heat sink version that only stores up to 2TB max.

Great external drive for addiontal space for on PS 5. Then i try it on my steam deck over network and docking station . Really fast on all 3 setup. Keep in mind PS5 you only run P4 games PS 5 have installed local drive.

My son just got a new XBOX S for Christmas, this was the perfect add on so that he could store all of his games. It was also a bit cheaper than buying a drive marketed specifically toward XBOX. Quick and easy set up, great value for the price.

Fantastic compact drive that I bought on sale for a good price as a backup HD for files. Simple plug and play with management software from WD included if desired.
