Excellent build quality, always trust WD to make good external drives, good speeds for a SATA drive

This a must have for PS4. My PS4 was running out of storage and this has been a game changer. It’s easy to use. Just attach the USB and follow the instructions to format and start using. No lack in performance from games stored on this Hard Drive

I currently have a PS4. I do have plans to upgrade to a PS5 but probably not for at least another year due to a lot of negative things that I have heard surrounding launch. Looking towards the future, I decided to buy an external hard drive that would be compatible with my current PS4 and eventual PS5. I bought it because I know you can store PS4 games on it that will be backwards compatible with the PS5 and because my PS4 was running out of memory with how many games I had. It took a few days to transfer all my games but I couldn't be happier. All my games came to about 1.5 TB of the 4.5 TB of space on this. My only complaint is that you really only get 4.5 TB of space; not 5 TB. That being said, I think this product is still a very good value. I feel like I have tons of room to grow now! I also LOVE the aesthetic of this item and it seems to perform wonderfully. The formatting process was extremely easy and I can use this in one way or another for years to come. This is the way to go if you are thinking of upgrading to a PS5 down the road.

Not an SSD, but for the price you get way more drivespace. Small form factor. Comes with a very short usb cable. Plug and play, no installation software required. I purchased for additional storage for a pc, not gaming. Owned several weeks and have had no problems whatsoever.

This is excellent for my Steam Storage. In fact I end up buying 4 of these because of the good price. If you are using USB 3.2 or even 3.1, it is fast enough to run your Steam Games. I carry most of my library on them and switch out these hard drives when I am on the move from my desktop to my laptop. This is not fast enough for your PS5 or Series X but it's very good to back up stuff rather than deleting if you choose to use this on your console. 5 tb is very generous especially if you get this on sale like I did.

I have had the 5tb version on my Xbox series X for a year now. I liked it so well that when I added the PS5 to my collection i had to pick up another for the PS5. If you use XBOX game pass or PlayStation premium subscriptions these drives are a must. The set up is easy on both systems and work flawlessly.

So this works great and has a ton of storage. Have to remember with PS5 that you are not instant access like with a Xbox. You have to load a game onto the zezternal hard drive to clear space then upload the game you want from the hard drive to the internal PS5 drive

I was wanting an upgrade from the measly 500GB on the XBOX One but didn't want to pay the high price of SSD so I figured this was a good middle ground. Faster speeds than standard 5400RPM drives and a nice size too. Just plugged it in and could start downloading right away.

Best external hard drive I’ve ever had has 5 TB it is a portable hard drive that I use it for my PS 5 and it’s absolutely amazing I have thousands of games and I have so much room on my system because of this extra hard drive

Works fine for storage, might run into problems for newer games if you are trying to play them for the hard drive it’s self .

WD finally came out with a solid external portable drive. Very durable, fast and sleek design. Runs cool as well! But like all platter drives, do not drop it, that's game over once that's happens. The bigger the storage the more data lost you will have.

Spinning hard drive in a solid case. Can't say that it is actually faster than most other external hard drives when transfering large video files but for 5TB and portable it's worth it.

This product work on PS5. I use it to transfer my PS4 and PS5 game male make room for my PS5 console so I don't have to delete and download the games again. It is without any issue.

For this storage expansion I use this for my laptop for games. It runs all games off of steam really well with no issues. And I figured you couldn't go wrong with five terabytes. It seemed relatively cheap and easy to set up.

This was a gift for a friend for her gaming setup. It works super well for her and holds all her games with space to spare!

Works well to extend my PS5 storage, can be used to install PS4 games. No issues so far! Looks pretty good to!!

It is compact, fast, and has great capacity. It also has an aluminum case, which helps dissipate heat. The drive is also small, so bringing it alongside with the laptop is easy and fast.

Excellent hard drive got it for my ps5 was cheaper than getting an internal and have like 25 games on there and only half full. Highly recommend

Great device I have used others in the past for PS5, PS4, and PC. Would continue to get more later on for my storage needs when this one runs out haha currently using it for my games
