    After finding out just how long batteries last and the inconvenience in replacing them, these cords are a must have. Even though they do not charge the batteries, they keep you from replacing them. Batteries will work in a backup power situation. Just knowing I don't need to worry about using a ladder to replace them make them more than worth their weight in time and cost of battery replacement.

    Ok yeah i was tired of climbing ladders to get to cameras and changing batteries. So i found just what i wanted and needed this extintion to an outlet so i never change batteries again!

    Works Good. Already went through couple harsh weather conditions and it did its purpose. Just need a little bit of force to connect it right into the camera plug.
