Called geek squad and they couldn't do anything. Had to take laptop back to store for someone to do very little (pretty sure they do this 100's of times a month) and then it was good to go.

You have to install Webroot immediately when you receive it as a promotion via Best Buy.

Webroot is currently the lightest AV on the market so it should have no adverse effects on system performance, and should not effect wifi connections at all.
