didn't want this but it was preinstalled. I have my own favorites and find that many big name or trending software for virus and other protection has it's own malware, bogs down speed or updates screw up the system over time. I uninstalled it right away. :-)

I haven't had the product long enough to evaluate.

It came with laptop purchase. Not sure I will use.

Needed product for computer protection but costly.

The worse ever! I purchased a geeksquard support plan with webroot, 1st they tell me the Hard disk I bought from them 'bestbuy' a year ago, on 1st installation they said it was not working, they made me buy another Hard disk, and the computer they 'bestbuy' fixed with the plan now says "you may be a victim of software counterfeiting" for the windows OPS they installed with it. I called geeksquard, 3 times, it rang on forever with those computer assisted messages coming on every other time, I only got an agent on the line once on all three occasions, but she heard my complaint, said it was strange, asked me to hold for more than 20mins and never came back to me still trying to get them to fix it :-(

Its not flashy, but it does the job for a low cost

I bought this product because I could use it on up to 3 units. The download to my new laptop worked great...until 2 weeks later my laptop shutdown w/out warning. Upon taking it in, I was informed that my laptop came w/ Mcafee pre-loaded...and now I have 2 malware programs that are internally fighting each other, thus creating a new problem. So after McAfee was uninstalled, it worked fine. The 2nd unit I loaded it on was my desktop PC...as soon as I loaded it, my entire system went down and I have yet to figure out the problem. I'm not real techie savvy, so it's not easy to get in the mood to fix this new set of problems. Shall I go for the old, "3 times a charm" saying....nahhhhh, I'm done.

I'm disappointed with the virus protection from Webroot!!! I keep getting viruses on my computer, and this is suppose to protect it. I've already had to go back to the Geek Squad for them to remove those viruses! It's a waste of money!

The Geek Squad installed this after I had my MacBook Pro in for service. It was installed for a year and it never found any viruses or problems. If anything it seemed to slow my system down with more than average spinning pinwheels.

When I removed the label to see the key in order to install it ripped off in an unreadable way. When I contacted the company for new key and a free download, I got the key but never a download. I purchased a security program from a different company

Had computer functioning problems. After purchasing the one year Webtoot security and having the computer serviced I had the same computer malfunctioning issues as before. I have not yet followed up so maybe the issue will eventually be resolved.

I received this disc when I purchased the iPad Air and the two year protection plan for $250.00. When I tried to install it on my 2 year old MAC it was not compatible and will not work on my computer.

This would not load on my tablet properly. It was more trouble than it was worth. I did get it loaded on my cell phone but wasn't impressed by it, so I uninstalled it. I like McAfee better in terms of navigation and ease of use.

I bought a laptop for my mom and was told that this program was included free with the purchase. I didn't want it at all. I have always used AVG and don't have any issues with the program. I really wish that Best Buy wouldn't "include" programs like this. I feel that if I want to buy it, I should have that option. Since I didn't install the program, I keep getting nagging emails reminding me to install the program. Again, if I had wanted the program, I would've bought it. While it's nice that they offer this, for people that aren't too tech savvy, there are better truly free options out there, not just trials or 1-year free things.

This security was included when I purchase my new all-in-one. I have used Webroot in the past and was not impressed then. I replaced the protection on my old computer with this product and installed my current internet security on the new one.

A best buy salesperson told me that I would need to install this on my surface 2 because it is a windows product. Only one problem it won't install on my surface because there isn't an app for that. Another reason to hate the windows store

for a security system, Web Root does not seem effective. We have tried on other computers at home. Seem to have more problems once on computer than before. Constantly cycling on computer so had to take off. Not happy with it.

Added to computer purchase at no additional cost, have always been skeptical about virus software due to easy manipulation into hard drive. Did not end up installing software.

I'm giving this product 1 star only because we have not used it. It can with my daughter's laptop that didn't have a disc drive. Therefore I know nothing about how it works.

I dont know why best buy changed the subscription from 12 months to 6 months for all the antivirus products. I am a big fan of webroot. The interface is clunky and old school. Nothing special about this anti virus program.
