I hope the antivirus protection is good. For some reason it took 3 attempts to download this properly onto my windows8.1 VAIO. Hopefully that wont be the case with my other laptops.

Have not used this and never will. Subscription services like this stink. It was free and came with other purchases. The fact that Best Buy was giving it away should tell you what they think of it. Sure, you can try it for nothing and if you don't like it you can just delete it, but if you are a kid with no money or a person on a fixed income, when that subscription comes due, and you cannot afford it, what do you do then? Better off to just get the free internet security programs to begin with.

I thought webroot had always been good for me. It wasn't this time. It let 16 potentially harmful things go through. it is gone and I am using a different anti virus.

I got a virus on my laptop with this product installed. It could not fix it. I ended up going back to Norton's and it found and fixed the the problem quickly.

I will not use this Virus Protection on any computer. On the new computer we purchased this Webroot came FREE with the purchase. When installed the virus protection claimed a few of the major operating parts were a virus and shut them down. When calling tech support they said that we had to pay to have it fixed. What a joke when the virus protection they gave us for free was the problem. We found a tech that didn't charge anything to put the system back in order. I would not use Webroot, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

This was given to us for a friends laptop from Best Buy. I have not received any complaints from her yet. I would not recommend this because it was not used by me.

This item or something similar has been added to the product to make it seem like an actual value when in reality it has none. Most smart computer users already have a full version of protection at their disposal. I just threw mine in the trash. A carry case would have been a better option or a wireless mouse, you get the idea. Added software just bogs down any computer as it continually runs in the back ground. i truly hope Best Buy gets away from this practice or at least offers alternatives.

Sometimes I am not sure if Virus software is a benefit or just a malware in itself. So far this one is relatively un-intrusive but we will see as times goes on.

Do not install this junk on your MacBook. Not is a waste of space

Geek squad added this when I brought my surface pro in to get cleaned up. It was less than a month later and I got a virus. Webroot didn't even know it was there.

I wish I was not a Geek Squad customer. The service was the worst. I waited over an hour just to see tech. All I wanted was to get out of the store. Extremely poor service.

Considering you want your computer to be completely safe from virus and need a Anti-Virus with a good user interface and which is smoother I'd suggest go for something else.

This product was recommended by an employee at Best Buy. If you are going to put money into an anti virus buy Norton. You will be able to tell a difference.

Had a laptop problem with what was said to be a software issue, (questionable) that was not covered under my warranty Had to buy the geek squad service plan with webroot included.($200) Took it home fixed , all was fine until I installed the disk to my desktop. This froze my computer and caused it to crash! Lost everything... They said they never seen anything like that happen. Three more times to the store now all is well!! Minus time, data ,and money.It seems like a nice program now. Careful.

I don't know why they bother giving us these anti-virus like this is way too expensive when you can go and buy a lifetime subscription from vipre instead

This software messed up my new computer. Windows 10 has a great security software included Defender does great.

I'm only using this because it came free with my system. I hate the advertising and pop ups with name brand antivirus software and this is no exception.

On paper a good value for the money but is a slow pc both for regular applications and web browsing. Screen is not quite a true 17". Battery life is good.

I received free with purchase and i installed it. After about two weeks, i uninstalled because i am a Kaspersky fan who found webroit was not reliable.

after I installed it on a single device, my favorite MacBook Air no less, I got more junk mail, advertising & unknown emails than i could take. and constantly concerned of an eminent attack, virus or malware, that could extend to my vast amount of computers, tablets, my iOS devices, even my smart TV's because they have wifi & Bluetooth. I unistalled everything about it, the download & app and everything returned back to normal. I'd heard we root was a good product, too bad it is not.
