After reading many negative reviews on current version and previous versions of this software regarding pc performance degredation and update issues I decided not to install it. Don't want any pc issues. I already had antivirus software.

Free and useless...worthless promotion.

Within a half hour of loging on to the net, my new computer had ransomware downloaded and webroot could not remove it let alone prevent it. I was able to remove it with malwarebytes. It was free, what can I expect.

It is impossible to get ransomware without navigating to malicious websites and downloading things, or opening loaded email attachments. Webroot would block this sort of attack before it had a chance to download and execute. If you ever believe you are infected, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.

It is useless without the key code. Going to have to take it back to the store and hopefully get another one.
