I have had no experience with Webroot until a month ago when I bought and all in one and a laptop. Have had no problems, but then, Best Buy associates "guide" you to buy whatever they are told to sell. Last time I bought a laptop, I was "guided" to buy (Another Brand). It is my opinion that my machine was not protected. It was running great, then got a nasty virus. Geek Squad successfully got the virus off, then shortly after that, the laptop expired. The reason, of course, for this purchase.

I obtained this software as an add-on to a new hard drive that was installed by the folks at Best Buy. I was initially dismayed that I did not receive a "brand name" security software, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the Webroot software. It works behind the scenes (in the cloud, according to Webroot) to update virus definitions automatically. It has successfully blocked some threats, and I feel safe using it.

I have been a webroot user for 3 years, I usually purchase from Amazon. This is my first purchase from Best Buy. My subscription (365) days usually starts when I load in the software from when I purchase at Amazon. Best Buy I purchased and I still had 2 weeks to go before the last subscription ends. Best Buy software cheated me out of 14 days. I called webroot and got the runaround. In the future I will purchase of of Amazon and it is cheaper to buy. If I purchased this software from Best Buy 2 months ago. you do the math. Webroot you need to address this with Best Buy.

I'm not as much of a tech guy these days but Webroot has protected me so far. The main issue I'm having is every time my laptop starts up it asks me to approve the changes for Webroot. I don't know if that's even necessary or if it's my laptop or what. All in all I'm satisfied with it though.

F ind Webroot Security to be an exemplary product thus far. I have owned it since 11/14, and recently it literally stopped a hacker while I was online by notifying me that someone else was using my Microsoft account which they had no authority to do so. Immediately the other user was deleted and I was directed to a place where I could resecure my Microsoft account.

Was easy to install and follow along. Always updates and prompts when there is something insecure going on or wants access too. Like how it's on top of things and don't have to worry about.

Came free with new pic, works great no problems. However it's supposed to be good for a year, had it since March and already getting renewal notices

This anti virus came free when i bought my computer. I like the way it works and it is easy to understand. I was told at check out it would cover three computers and was for full year. but appears it only last 6 months.

Great product. Keeps our computers safe. Will continue to use.

The ease of use and syncing my various computers was what made me switch to use Webroot on all my equipment. I'm very satisfied.

The product was free (1 year subscription) with a laptop purchase. For that price, cannot beat the value.
