I love how quiet this dishwasher is, & it cleans very well. I love the hidden buttons, which give it a sleek look. My only advice is to make sure you get the Geek Squad extended service plan. I am glad I did, because after about a year, we needed to replace a part on the top rack that snapped. Mechanically, though, it works great. I love the way it cleans the dishes & would definitely recommend.

Love design, very easy to operate, very quiet, performance very efficient.

Bourght theWDTA50SAHZ July 4 and am pleased so far. I see other models included in these reviews, but this is a sleek design and very quiet, can't tell it's running unless I'm next to it. It replaced a 22 y.o. GE Profile that was still running except it leaked a little when draining. I'm still experimenting with loading efficiently, but seems to hold much more. I was concerned about the height, as this lists as 34 1/2" in specs and my floor to counter height is only 34". Installer and salesman assured me of adjustable feet, and they were correct. I wish the specs indicated adjustable feet to eliminate this concern. I don't use a d/w often, maybe every 2 wks but installer said I should run it every week to prevent dry rot! This was never an issue with my old one. Fortunately this was on sale for $599, as I still had sticker shock, not having bought a d/w in 22 yrs. No fingerprints show on d/w and that's a relief. Those who don't like the silverware rack in the door can move it to the bottom rack. Have only used it once so far. Very pleased overall.

Extremely quiet dishwasher and my dishes absolutely sparkle. Love the clean lines in my new kitchen.

I have owned this dishwasher for a few months now. So far my family loves it. It is very quiet and cleans well. The only downsides of this machine are the top rack is not extremely sturdy so you need to load heavier items in the back or bottom rack, as well as the fact that it does not always fully dry with the heated air dry feature. If you open the door after the drying cycle finished and leave it for about an hour, they’re all dry. Overall, I would recommend and great for the price. The downsides aren’t big deals to me but still important to note.

I bought this to replace a seven-year-old Samsung that I had to pull out and fix on three separate occasions. After I installed it I ran it for the first time and was immediately impressed by the quietness of its operation. We've had a year and I still love it is got endless possibilities for wash and rinse Cycles as well as drying options and it runs is quiet today is the day I first installed it. It's easy to load easy to run and does a good job of washing the dishes. And I really like the fact that you can remove the silverware tray

Easy to install, great washer. Very quite and has a lot of room for dishes. The top is the washer door is where the controls are, which are easy to accidentally hit and finger prints get all over the top as well.

I just replaced another "brand named" unit that I had for almost 3 years. I hope this will last longer. First washing left everything clean as expected. Time and additional washings will tell if this will continue to do as well as expected.

It's too soon to give a final verdict on this - we've only had the dishwasher a couple of months - but it's quiet and does a good job cleaning. It doesn't get all our dishes completely dry, but neither has any other dishwasher we've ever owned (we have a lot of plastic tumblers, etc.). Our previous dishwasher was highly rated by CR as being quiet, but this one is noticeably quieter - the kitchen and family room are really one big room, and we can watch TV or talk without the dishwasher interrupting anything, which wasn't quite true of the previous one. Finally, it has a 1 hr cycle which my wife LOVES. So I did good buying this dishwasher. (And it was pretty easy to install - the directions were clear enough and the kit that is recommended for this has all the parts I needed.)

I am absolutely in love with this dishwasher, it's doing a great job so far, I ended up paying $887 for installation and the dishwasher itself. Installation took about an hour to complete and the staff was very quick,polite, and professional. They explained how to use the dishwasher once they were done with installation. There is plenty of space for all the dishes and the nice feature of this dishwasher is that theres a designated utensil shelf on the side of the door of dishwasher wich frees up a lot of space for additional dishes. Everything comes out spotless with no residue or debris, which was not the case with my previous dishwasher. I had a GE profile dishwasher it was around 7-8 years old and it was just doing a horrible job, leaving dishes dirty with food pieces stuck to it, And we had to rewash almost every single dish after each cycle. At some point I just stopped using it and was hand washing dishes. After 4 months I thought it's time for a new dishwasher and I started to search online thinking of getting a new GE dishwasher, thinking that it was just old and needed to be updated to the latest model.However, from all the reviews that I've read on Best Buy a lot of people were saying that GE leaves dishes dirty, and I decided to look at other brands and found that Whirlpool was the one that matched my requirements (price and quality) and I'm not disappointed with my choice! I've had it for a month and I haven't washed a single dish yet. Dishwasher is equipped with the filter that you can take out and wash, you can also take the water spinners out to wash them as well which is nice!

Replaced a twenty year old dishwasher extremely happy with this purchase. Cannot hear it when running, cleans very well. Only small negative, untensil rack is small compared to what we had but does allow for multiple placements.

It is sleek, silent, easy to load & unload & everything comes out clean & dry.

actually love an appliance this one might be it. We had this model for about eight months before selling our house and it went with the sale. The first thing we bought for the new house was this machine! It is super quite and cleans like no other dishwasher I've owned before. The one thing I wished for would be the controls to stay the way I set it up, IE basic wash, sansi rinse and no heat dry. Kind of a (small) pain to reset it every time we use it.

Works well ... cleans without rinsing and is very quiet. The only thing that I can see as an issue for me is loading the basket for silverware cannot be done where the soap gets placed, you need to take basket out and put utensils in first.

This dishwasher cleans great and is much quieter than our old one. We can actually do the dishes during the day instead of waiting at night.

I am very happy with my new dishwasher. It has a very large capacity for dishes, pans etc. I wish the cutlery basket was a bit larger but it is okay. The dishes come out sparkling clean. The great advantage for me is that it is very quiet & a light lets us know if the dishes are clean or dirty. No more clean/dirty magnets.

I did a lot of research before purchasing a dishwasher and I found that with this one, the only negative review was about the quality of the drying. I would agree but my dishes are not soaking wet. Once I open the door, they seem to dry better. I have found the dishes to be very clean and the machine is very quiet. Also there is a light to tell you when the dishes are clean after a cycle!

Only complaint is the the silver rack, constantly falls off when pulling out the lower rack. You can put the silverware rack directly on the door but is hard to load. It cleans well looks nice and is quiet. Can fit more items in it than my old Maytag.
