An excellent product. Has a high speed spin cycle option that removes more water than most washers. Although some reviews complained about it being noisy and unbalanced, we have not fond this to be the case. I wonder if people were overloading the machine (or setting the water level too low for the load). There were also some complaints about access to the machine in mid cycle and the machine emptying all the water. This does not seem to be a problem if you read the instructions carefully. The lid has an access lock to prevent opening when it is running. There is a button on the control panel labelled "Start/Pause - to cancel hold for 3 seconds." If you hold it for 3 seconds, it does cancel the cycle and (reasonably) drains the water. As the instructions say, if you press it briefly in mid cycle it pauses the cycle and after a delay the red light goes off and you can open the lid (to add more clothes, the forgotten detergent, or whatever). If you leave it paused for too long, it does finally cancel the cycle.

This is the best I am able to wash clothes once not rinsing twice my old machine didnt rinse i still had soap in the machine the plumber i called said this is a $600.00 repair job so i walked in to best buy found a good deal so i bought it the same day this is a dream come true its so quiet & big

Worth Every Dime i spent on it. i thought to throw some clothes away but the washer was excellent in taking some of the hard stains out.

I had a front loader but after many issues have gone back to a top loader. Very happy with purchase . Cleans all my clothes great.

I wasn't sure I could ever find another machine to satisfy me after owning a front loader Bosche, which I loved, but had to part with after 9 years. This whirlpool washes very well though and has enough options to select from that I am very pleased.

I like my new washer. Especially the much larger tub. It is a bit louder than my older model. Don't like the locking lid.

I like this machine much better. It seems easier to use. My previous machine left spots on the clothes and they had to be rewashed 3 times to remove the dried spots.

The main thing I like about this machine is that it has an agitator in it. The newer machines may be energy efficient but they don't get your clothes clean.

Able to put in up to three bedding sheets at a time, also able to put in the comforter from my twin bed.

Machine works fine basic machine no bells and whistles but does the job

Our washer was 14 years old and after fixing it a few time in the last 6 months, we finally decided to get a new one. We had a few options within our price range but we liked this one the most with its large basket, and water temp and rinse options. It's quite simple to use and my grandmother loved that. It's a "set it and forget it" type of washer which is nice with the exception of if you have a lot of laundry to do, you can't get it done very quickly. Heavy, extra large loads with 2 rinses with fabric softener takes over an hour to wash. Also, once the washer has filled with water, if you let it sit for more than 10 miutes, ott will automatically drain it. All in all it is a very good washer.

Very easy to use and clear features. Product arrived quickly and installation took no time at all. This washer does have a lock feature on the lid during certain cycles which I'm not real crazy about. But overall this washer is exactly what I needed and I'm happy with the purchase.

This washer is great for the price. Quick spin cycle and enough settings for basic use.

After owning a Whirlpool Cabrio and having several issues with it I decided to go back to a regular whirlpool. I love this machine! My clothes are cleaner and it has all the extras that I need.

I think it does a good job but I think it is very noisy. Great if your laundry room is far away from the living rooms or bedrooms. I would not recommend it if your bed room is close by.

Perfect for my family of four, who washes multiple loads of clothes each week. The large capacity drum is a plus.

The price was great for this basic washing machine. It washes clothing effectively and has a modern look. It is a little louder than I expected for a new washer but I can overlook that one flaw.

This is an excellent washer for the price. I do not understand the negative reviews posted online. My wife loves it and we find no faults with the machine as of yet.
