So can’t comment on how well it gets really dirty things clean. That being said, for some reason everytime i’m about to wear something that has been “washed” in this washer, theres mysterious marks/stains that were never there before and require a rewash which often time fixes that area but creates a new area. I’ve never had this issue before with a washer and i’ve only had this one a month. (I also use the matching dryer for this washer) Also, this is definately not a quiet washer. It makes very loud clicking noises whenever it starts and stop filling the tub with water, which happens quite often with these “high efficiency” washers. Overall, i’m definately disappointed with this Whirlpool product. I specifically went for a Whirlpool as thats normally my go to brand, but will be replacing this washer with different brand and possibly signing off this brand for a while as quality seems to be headed down.

Posted .We are sorry you are unhappy with the design of the Washer. The Department of Energy standards state how much water any water-based appliances can use, and our washers meet all of their stringent guidelines. We would recommend balling up the clothing similar to the size of a soccer ball, and place around the agitator one at a time. We would also recommend stacking it up so it is around the sides and the agitator plate is visible with all of the clothing around it. Do not fill up past the 2nd to the last row of holes in the basket to help avoid overloading. The bulky cycle will allow more water to enter the tub, but will not spin on the highest spin setting. We are sorry that you are unhappy with the design, and can note your concerns.

But now it doesn't work at all. There was a failure between two of the control boards. Basically it's going to cost so much to repair, we'd be better off buying a new washer. We purchased Whirlpool because we though it was one of the better brands on the market but after it only lasting over a year and a half that's definitely not the case.

Poor Quality not durable at all.

Very poorly made product the dryer was horrible as well I had both of these products for less than two years, and they have both gone out. The repairman said it was the motherboard to be exact.

Definetly purchase the extended warranty you will need it.

We had this washer for less than a year and it started cracking at the hinges... Eventually the entire corner of the lid broke off. AND YES, the lid ajar function stopped working rendering the washer completely useless. Now we have a very large , very expensive paper weight. Whirlpool sent a drier lid for repair, a DRIER LID!!! We have been without a washer for 3 months, and Whirlpool doesn't seem to take customer service seriously... I will ABSOLUTELY NEVER buy another whirlpool product again.

The machine has sensors to check for load wait and imbalance, which is great because it wouldn't be overloaded. And it has a bedding/bulk program which we had to use regularly. Still, after less than 18 months the transmission broke, repair is $750, and because the entire thing only had 1y warranty, I'm left to buy a new washer after only this time. Ridiculous. I'm going to a brand that has confidence in their own products and offers 2y warranty or more. Whirlpool never again.

Less than impressed

I use tide pods to avoid “too much detergent” but my clothes still come out with soap scum all over them. I even use the extra rinse option. So for that, I leave my less than impressed review.
