The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is amazing!!! a total productivity beast that feels like carrying a mini-cinema in your pocket. The massive inner screen is a game-changer for multitasking or just binging tiktoks,YT vids etc. And no the crease isn't a bother at all!!!!!! So stop the petty was. On the flip side, the weight is only heaven when in your pocket I use a Popsicle and have no issue holding it with one hand at all. The battery for me has been great when I get home from work I end up with a 35-42% battery left which isn't bad at all. The camera imo is great great videos and great pictures.

Coming from a Surface Duo 2, this is a great new foldable phone. Large inner screen. Outside screen is very usable for regular tasks. Photos look great and quick. Pixel snap is very sturdy and fast wireless charging is great, especially after not having wireless charging for so many years with the Surface Duo line. Battery life is phenomenal. I highly recommend the phone.
The one ding is the slower splitscreen process compared to the Duo. It's not terrible but takes longer to do. Google can easily fix this in software.
Look at my photo of the Fold next to the Duo.

Coming from a longtime Samsung user, this phone is decent overall. The picture quality—especially on darker skin tones—is AMAZING, even in low-light situations. That part really impressed me. However, I wasn’t a fan of the video calling quality compared to Samsung, and the phone consistently ran hot during video calls. Because of that, I decided to return it. The screen size was okay, but not enough to make up for the overheating issue. My best photo was unfortunately in the case. I didn't think to take a picture with it outside of it. My bad. Would recommend if you like ALL Google service features and apps.

Setup
The phone is shipped unfolded with a 3 foot USB-C cable, a Nano SIM slot access tool and a small booklet with safety, regulatory and compliance information. The booklet cover provides a link to the Google support website.
I powered up the Pixel 10 with my old Samsung Note 10 nearby. The Pixel 10 quickly found and connected to the Note 10, and guided me through setup. After authentication on the Note 10, the setup process was handled entirely from the Pixel 10. It set itself up for my Wi-Fi network, copied over data, photos, music, etc., transferred my phone number and SIM information to its eSIM, and installed all the apps from the Note 10 that are available in the Play Store. It also set up my home screen background image from the Note 10. This all completed in about an hour, at which point the Pixel 10 Pro Fold was configured for the AT&T network and working without a trip to the phone store. I haven't encountered any problems following setup, I have all my data and applications except for the few no longer available in the Play Store.
Hardware
My Note 10 had very good performance and didn't feel slow, but the Pixel 10 Pro has reset my performance expectations. The system CPU and memory performance is amazing, it feels like everything happens instantly. The 6.4" 1080 x 2364 outer screen and the 8" 2076 x 2152 inner folding screen produce identically sharp and clear images. Colors in displayed camera images appear very true. When the phone is open, the inner folding screen has a smooth valley along the hinge that is easy to see in reflected light when the screen is off. In the absence of reflected light, the valley disappears when the screen is on and viewed straight on.
The rear triple camera system takes amazing photos and videos with ease. It has wide, ultrawide and telephoto cameras, each with its own pixel, aperture, field of view and sensor size specifications. The camera system includes a 5x optical zoom and a 20x software zoom. The sharpness and level of detail is remarkable when zooming in on a typical photo.
Aside from a Nano SIM slot, the only physical interface on the phone is its 30W USB-C port. There is no microSD card slot or analog audio jack. This is a fairly standard design choice these days, and I believe it has more to do with freeing up space for battery than saving a few nickels on connectors. The Bluetooth and Wi-Fi interfaces work as specified. We have 500Mbps internet service, and internet speed tests show that the phone's Wi-Fi 7 interface easily hits this for download and upload. The list of supported carrier networks is long and impressive.
Instead of an in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold has a capacitive fingerprint sensor integrated into its power button. After registering a fingerprint, the sensor reliably detects the portion of the fingerprint over the power button regardless of orientation. The 5000 mAh battery achieves the specified 24+ hours of operation in normal use.
Software
I'm transitioning to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold from a Samsung Note 10. The Note 10 hasn't been getting Samsung system updates for several years now, so I'm moving from Android version 12 with Samsung One UI version 4.1 to Android version 16. There are some differences in Settings with lots of new features to explore, but the use of apps and widgets is similar and it was not difficult to customize the home screen and lock screen layout and background images, try different UI themes, and so on.
The phone includes offers from Google in the form of free trial periods for services such as 1 year of Google AI Pro, 3 months of YouTube Premium and 6 months of Fitbit Premium. I don't find any pre-installed partner apps for things like security or entertainment, which is wonderful.
The Google Pixel applications included for phone, messaging, file browsing, etc., are wonderful. Everything has been easy to use, very intuitive with little if any learning curve. Many of these applications make good use of included AI features. The camera has a 5x optical zoom, and a 20x zoom capability handled in software with a generative AI assist. With advanced protection enabled, the phone automatically answers and screens suspicious calls by asking who is calling and why.
I enjoy being able to read email and text message on the large inner screen. Like a tablet, there is message selection pane on the left and message content on the right. The center boundary can be moved back and forth, allowing message content to occupy the entire screen. Running two apps adjacent to one another is also useful, and I know I will find even more use cases for this feature over time.
Pros and Cons
I was concerned that the additional thickness and weight would make the Pixel 10 Pro Fold more difficult to use, but I haven't found this to be a problem. I have it in a Google Pixelsnap case and it feels comfortable in my hand. The large screen makes it possible to comfortably read a document and run a pair of apps next to each other, and is great for viewing photos and video.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold camera has a 20x zoom, as opposed to the 100x zoom available on the Pixel 10 Pro. Both phones have a 5x optical zoom, with additional zoom handled in software.
Ultimately the Pixel 10 Pro Fold decision depends on how much use you will make of the large inner screen and whether you find it worth the additional thickness, weight, price and loss of the odd feature. I find myself using the inner screen quite a bit and am not inconvenienced by the phone's form factor.
I've been won over by the performance, features and software quality of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. I enjoy using the phone tremendously, and am really happy that it comes with seven years of OS and security updates.

The Pixel Fold 10 Pro is a great phone with some improvements over my previous Fold 6. It has a wider screen, which makes it easier to use, especially for video watching and reading large emails. The hinge design is dust-free, but I haven’t had enough time to test it. The phone is a bit heavy, but it’s built well. The screen is bright and responsive, and the speakers are excellent.
The inner screen works well, with smooth app transitions and beautiful scaling. The bigger screen makes multitasking easier. The crease is visible, but it’s not a major issue.
Google offers several perks, including Circle to Search, live translate, and Gemini, which is one of the best on the market.
However, the Pixel Fold 10 Pro has some weaknesses. The picture quality is not as good as other flagships, and the signal strength is weaker than the Fold 6. This is because Google is not using a Qualcomm modem, which is the best in the industry.
Overall, the Pixel Fold 10 Pro is a great phone that delivers when you need more from it.

I recently purchased the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and I can confidently say it’s an absolutely incredible phone. It feels unique, premium, and extremely fast. I’m genuinely satisfied with everything about it — the performance, the smoothness, and especially the camera. The camera is surprisingly powerful and very useful in everyday situations.
One of the things I love the most is the flexibility: you can use it like a normal phone, but whenever you want a bigger screen — for gaming, watching videos, or multitasking — you just open it, and it gives you an amazing, high-quality tablet-like experience. The design is beautiful and special, and the overall build feels very high-end.
If I had to mention one downside, it would be that the phone is a little bit heavy — but honestly, I’m totally fine with it because everything else is perfect. Before this, I had the Google Pixel 8 Pro, and upgrading to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold was absolutely worth it.
I 100% recommend this phone if you’re looking for something fast, premium, and unique.

been using the Pixel 10 Pro Fold (256GB, Moonstone) for a bit now and I’m really impressed with how polished it feels. The foldable display is gorgeous and incredibly useful for multitasking, watching videos, and reading, while the outer screen is perfectly sized for quick everyday use. Performance has been smooth with no hiccups, the battery easily lasts me a full day, and the Pixel camera quality is exactly what I expect — reliable and consistently great. The Moonstone color looks premium in person, and the phone feels solid and well-built. It’s definitely a premium device, but if you want a foldable that just works with clean software and smart features, this one delivers.

This is my first folding phone. I migrated from a Pixel 8 Pro. All my apps are working just fine. I had one app (not a major app) that I had to use unfolded in order to access the apps settings menu but other than one all is working. Had to get used to having the fingerprint reader in the power button but that was pretty easy. The fprint reader works better than my Xperia 1 iii's fprint reader so that is a plus as well. Had to try a few cases before I found one that provided the necessary protections and most importantly good grip. The displays are bright and easy to read. Camera is fine for my use and I get about 2.5 days of battery life. Yes, it is expensive but I like being able use it as a small tablet as well.

Plays stupid games; win stupid prizes I think sums up the last 24 hours of Tech Influencer opinions.
Did it change my view of the 10 Pro Fold, yes, but not because of the dangerous outcome that is being proported.
First off, my use case has been fantastic. There are a couple of changes I would like to see in future iterations mostly the inner screen camera being under the screen, I prefer squared edges over rounded, and true flagship cameras. But again, I have had no issues with battery usage, playing games, and taking photos outside of lighting conditions.
I love the fact that the 10 Pro Fold has a SIM Card Slot over the rest of the 10 series and that is an actual deal breaker for me when I am traveling overseas in areas that are not considered as developed as others and for any future phone, which could push me out of the flagship market.
Having a physical Fingerprint reader again is wonderful and reminded me how many "try again errors" for underscreen I have in my own usage.
The IP68 rating has been called into question and it was the main factor for even considering the 10 Pro Fold given my random use environments and the likelihood of debris getting behind the folding screen and hinge. It's clear that this rating is for the screen and ports only, as the hinge can allow a multitude of debris sizes into the mechanism. However, comparing to the Z Fold 7, the 10 Fold Pro was still able to fully open and close, which cannot go undocumented.
So, at least the screen is safe for anything getting under it and that still represents a huge win over any other foldable currently available.
While the hinge may let in debris greater than the IP68 rating allows, I have not had any issues as I don’t put my devices through torture testing, but take care of them, use my brain, and expect to get the maximum longevity out of them even given the design and usage by the manufacturer. Hoping that within the margin of an occasional accident the device holds up as expected.
I have no qualms about talking the 10 Pro Fold out into the real world and going about my life. I will take a little extra precaution on when, where, and how I use it, but being on a construction job site or digging holes was never going to be in the cards. Even when I do my vehicle maintenance, I go to my Pixel 5 that has been relegated to “iPod” status as I go full do not disturb mode to get things done, as well as, realizing that with each job the likelihood of a phone falling out of my pocket or getting abnormally pushed upon as I role around on the ground under a vehicle. And same for the yard work when throwing debris in the area hacking at weeds and dirt.
So, while there may be a few scares coming from the Tech Influencers, take it in stride. The 10 Pro Fold does represent the latest and greatest from Google, as will the 11, 12, 13 ad infitum.
If your craving to scratch that itch of a foldable, I say scratch it. Maybe get a case that protects the hinge too for that extra layer of protection, but don’t get too taken away from influencers or at least seek out the ones that actually use the device as a primary and then comment on it.
I am still getting used to Pixel Launcher and so that lends its own curve of evaluation, as I have preferred One UI combined with Good Lock. But I have long been a third-party launcher user and embraced the full customizability of Android devices. Which for me translates into any device I buy I plan on modifying from its stock form, at least in the software department.
The intrigue of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is clearly the “Fold” and for me how does it fit into and/or change my workflow. I currently am in the full Galaxy ecosystem with a S24U, Tab S9 FE+, Book5 Pro, Watch 4, and Buds Pro 2. I thought the 10 Pro Fold may disrupt my workflow as the SPen has been the reason for sticking with Samsung over the past 5ish years, but I find that the my real work of using a digital pen gets done with the tablet and my use of the SPen has just been transformed into the actually being able to read pristine type font versus by caveman drawings.
I won’t say the productivity necessarily waned, it does make for the content consumption a more enjoyable experience and the lack of the SPen has been replaced by the fact I can use a keyboard and mouse without need for an external screen to do some work should the need arise…like writing this review.
And if I had to pick just one device in my repertoire, well the 10 Pro Fold definitely gives me the do-it-all factor.
Sound is fantastic! There is a proper orientation that Google says to hold the device to get the best sound when in Open mode and that is to rotate the phone 90 deg counter clockwise or camera from top right to top left. This assuming most people will hold in the right hand which no places the speakers left lower and right upper sides of the phone. However, that also means you are now holding the phone by the front screen which means more fingerprints…eeww yuck!
A few times in YouTube I noticed the spatial sound some issues when not holding in the recommended orientation, but another option is to turn off the spatial sound or wear earbuds.
Battery life is getting me through the day. I work from home so am on WiFi, but also low cellular signal and default to WiFi Calling. Besides calls and messaging, I mainly use YoutTube, FB, Insta, reading apps, and various work related apps and they all seem to function fine.
I did try some gaming like COD:Mobile and a couple different RPG’s, and TMNT. More screen is always more better, connect a controller and even more screen is even more better-er. I didn’t have any lag, still achieved high KDR, and started expanding my horizons on what gaming can be like on smartphone given the new screen real estate.
Overall, I think Google has given us a great device, it will face the music on its choices of behind the cameras and possibly with the hinge, which will only translate in lowering its price. But for it being their 3rd Gen foldable, it does get a lot right and the balance is there.
This device is still on the bleeding edge of technology and so that has to be taken into consideration. The boundaries are being pushed because the slab phone is ubiquitous with form and function to the point AI is the only new frontier for them. Breaking the mold are foldables trying to achieve both of those fronts at the same time.
Would I and can I recommend the 10 Pro Fold? Yes, I have no qualms after my experience with it.
Should you buy it? That is always left to the individual end-user. There is greater risk within the foldable phone market and I think the overall the 10 Pro Fold takes a step to reduce it. Use it and don’t abuse it, like with anything, and it will remain a great device.

This has become my favorite phone. Having a huge fold-out screen is amazing. The performance is amazing. I almost never us the exterior screen, but it is nice to have. Gaming on a large screen is amazing. The only drawback is that android apps don’t adapt as well to large screens as iOS phones.

I LOVE this Google 10 Pro Fold mobile phone.
Its terrific to unfold the phone for a larger viewing screen, using the AI is terrific in search, photos, camera, messages, etc. AI is fully integrated in this phone and it is very helpful!
The phone is also very light weight, making it easy, not bulky to carry.
I couldn't be happier!
