Customer Ratings & Reviews

I have limited desk space so did not need or could not use the newer, 27 in. plus monitors that are available. I needed something more compact, that was adjustable. I was under the impression that what I needed wasn't made any more, so was thrilled to find this 24" ADJUSTABLE monitor made by Dell, who I feel is a very good and reliable brand. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. This monitor is very nice, very comfortable, and the picture is great.

This monitor is the perfect fit for my work setup. The image is crisp and clear, and the color spectrum looks good as far as I can tell. I use it for video conferencing, as well as general admin tasks, with occasional streaming when I have a gap in my schedule. I haven't even thought about the monitor when I'm on a call or watching something, which is the best compliment I can give it - it's just seamless for my needs. It mounted easily to the VESA attachment of my mounting arm, and the small bevel helps it blend into the background of my setup. Since I'm not using the stand, I don't have feedback on that other than to say it looks like it has impressive range in its adjustment capability.

Very good as a secondary screen. Picture quality is good

Great value for the price, especially since I go it on sale for 40 dollars off. Works great looks great, set up was easy and its very adjustable. Very convenient when you have a multipurpose desk like I do.

Pretty nice great quality and features I would like if it had speakers but other then that it’s perfecttt

Love my new monitors. My office is alive with sights and sounds now!

I am extremely impressed by this monitor. For the asking price ($120 at the time of writing), you get a monitor with some fantastic specifications that aren't just for show. There's one minor quirk I think anyone purchasing this should know, but it's something that's pretty easy to work around, if it's a problem at all. To begin with, this monitor has, to my eye, some excellent colors. I don't know about the actual numbers for color accuracy that you get using software, but to my eye, this looks fantastic. Colors are bright and vibrant, and blacks get quite dark for being a standard IPS LCD. It's no OLED, of course, but it still manages to look great regardless. Using it for some art, web browsing, and basic productivity tasks, there was no point where the colors were noticeably off or wrong. The monitor gets quite bright, too. Bright enough that you definitely shouldn't have any issues in any lighting. Out of the box, it starts at 75% of its maximum brightness, and personally, I found that I like it at about 85%, but it's good all the way up and down the gamut. It will give you a warning when you try to put the brightness above 75%, telling you that it will consume more power, which is good to know. The responsiveness of this monitor is excellent. It's listed as 1ms, and it feels like 1ms, which is to say that it's imperceptible. I expected it to be much higher, since this isn't meant to be some high-end gaming monitor or anything, but no. I feel that I could game on this if I wanted to, and not notice ghosting or extra latency from my input to the monitor. The high refresh rate also rivals many high-end gaming monitors at 144hz. If your cable and your computer are capable of outputting those frames, it is smooth as butter, with no noticeable ghosting. Even doing the little UFO test, it looks fantastic. Again, this is a feature I'd expect to see on a high end gaming monitor, not something you can pick up for $120. There's a couple of caveats, though they're minor. The first is that it's only 1080p. Of course, that's listed everywhere, both on the box and on the website, but it is worth noting that if you wanted to use this for video editing, artwork, or gaming, you'll have some limitations due to the resolution. It looks great for 1080p, but it can never be as crisp as a 1440p or 4K monitor. The second thing is that there are 2 inputs, and both are HDMI. Most computers, consoles, and whatever other input you can think of have HDMI on them somewhere, so it shouldn't be an issue for most, but I do think it's noteworthy, as it's pretty unusual. I don't think I've ever seen a monitor before this one that didn't have more than one kind of connector, except for an ancient VGA monitor I had back in the 00s. Whatever the case may be, I have nothing negative to say about this monitor whatsoever. It looks great, it has a high refresh rate and low input latency, and I can see this being useful as a budget gaming monitor, or a very high end productivity monitor. Would absolutely recommend if you're in the market for a 1080p monitor.

The Dell SE2426HS is primarily a basic 24 inch computer monitor optimized of gaming as it is capable (and I would not say basic) running at 1080p and at 144hz. Measuring at a height of 19 inches from base to top bezel and a width of around 21 inches it seems to have an aspect ratio of 16:9. Coming in at a matte black finish with an adjustable height and a tilt function, this monitor would sit fine at any desk. Though it is said that it is VESA mount compatible, resources are in conflict and looking at the back, the stand uses small screws and as of this writing, I have no reliable means of verifying that it is VESA compatible without using an adapter of some sort. It is a 144hz monitor using Freesync technology ensuring smooth motion. Performance seems to be standard but not impressive, but then again I am using this with an Intel i7 chip with a GTX4060 gpu. Response may be a bit faster if I have used an AMD based PC. But overall, performance is good. The colors are bright but not overbearing and would satisfy gamers and non-gamers alike. Only the nitpickers will complain. At the back of the unit, one can find the power socket and two HDMI ports. There is no display port capability in this monitor. The underside on the right side has the power and control buttons. In general, there is nothing really that would separate this model from others. But what can be said is that this product performs as expected and at its price point a good value for money. I’d still recommend this monitor to others.

If you are looking for a monitor that will fit most budgets, this Dell model is a terrific option. Pros: - Easy, pain-free assembly. Packaging was well designed to protect the screen during shipping. - The IPS LCD screen has beautiful and sharp colors. It's good sized at 24". - The mount was one of my favorite features allowing you to tilt to find the best angle, but more importantly, includes the capability to rotate the screen fully to switch from landscape to portrait. Some people love to work with secondary monitors in this position so it's great to have that option. - The cord guide on the back of the frame perfectly helps hide the cords from view and keeps things organized. - Multiple HDMI ports are available (2). - Power and toggle buttons are easy to find and intuitive to navigate. - Solid specs with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time. Cons: - Besides HDMI, there are no other options to connect devices to this monitor. This is not unusual though for a monitor at a lower price point. - No USB ports are on board. Overall, this monitor is an excellent option for anyone looking for a good monitor that doesn't need every bell and whistle. You really get good value for your dollar.

My full HD 24-inch monitor from Dell, model SE2426HS works well for gaming, productivity and everyday tasks, I tried it with my firestick as well as my DSLR camera, it offers good 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms MPRT, and AMD FreeSync and it does look great. First, right out of the box, it comes with its power cable, an HDMI cable, stand and the monitor. It is very easy to assemble with no tools needed to do so. and once it is put together, the slim black frame it almost disappears. The stand is very easily to move up and down and it stays where you want it to be. The height is adjusted about 2 inches to 6 1/2 inches with the monitor flat up and down. And I really like that the monitor also tilts from -5 to +21 degrees. Something else that helps the monitor look great is the matte black frame as well as the screen finish that it is anti-glare. When it comes to specs, the 1920 x 1080 at up to 144hz is very nice for productivity, gaming and everyday tasks. it shows smooth motion and it is also sharp with great colors. iI has two HDMI inputs, and I have my camera connected to one as well as my laptop connected to the second input so I can switch from one another easily. Overall, this monitor is a great option for general use, casual gamers, it is smooth as well as sharp and with my SLR camera it has been working great, I also tested it with a firestick, and it worked great.

This is a basic monitor that serves its purpose. It supports AMD FreeSync and can output a 144 Hz refresh rate, which is pretty nice for an entry-level monitor. It also has a 1 ms response time. It doesn’t have a DisplayPort input, but there are two HDMI 1.4 ports. Installation is quick and easy with all the tools provided. I use this monitor for my Mac Mini and it’s been working great. At Full HD resolution on a 24-inch screen, text and images look crisp and clear. The IPS panel offers excellent value, and it’s versatile for a variety of uses such as gaming, work, and entertainment. I have several monitors ranging from high-end OLED displays to mid-range and entry-level IPS panels, and this one delivers a lot for an entry-level monitor. The panel quality is excellent, and I don’t notice any glare under normal ambient lighting. The monitor stand is functional and offers height and tilt adjustments. The dual HDMI inputs are very useful so I can quickly connect the monitor to my laptop for a dual screen setup. Bottom line: this is an excellent entry-level monitor. It lacks DisplayPort input, but it doesn’t really matter for my purpose.

The Dell 24" IPS LCD FHD 144Hz FreeSync Monitor (model SE2426HS) is a great monitor that I plan to keep to use mostly for group projects. When my small work group comes over to brainstorm, having one monitor so we can all see as we strategize and make changes makes our projects so much easier to work on. Also, I find this monitor is just fine to use for games such as Fortnite where a bit of jitter or lag doesn't affect gameplay. This is not a gaming monitor, but certainly smaller and simpler games can easily be played without noticeable issue. Watching a movie via streaming did provide a noticeable jitter. Not a lot, but enough to be a slight distraction. The colors look fairly accurate, certainly close enough. The monitor is easy to set-up: simply slip the arm/riser onto the base/stand. It will click in place and then you easily tighten it with the built-in fastener under the base. Then attach the arm to the back of the monitor with screws. I do have an issue with the 4 screws I needed to screw the monitor onto the arm. Other monitors I have had just click in at the back. It's not that big of a deal, they did supply the 4 screws and a little screwdriver. I may just be getting lazy! This does not have a display port, just 2 HDMI ports, which works well for me. They do provide one HDMI cord. The provided power cord is a standard one. This is full HD in a somewhat small size of 24" which keeps everything on the display clear and bright and their "TÜV Rheinland 3‑star* certification" works to help reduce blue light and I actually believe I see a difference with this monitor. It is much more comfortable on my eyes than a bright screen. This does have extremely thin bezels, which makes for a nice look and it has a wide viewing angle so that everyone can clearly see the screen no matter where they are sitting (if they are facing the screen of course!). Note: there are no speakers on this monitor. Overall, the Dell SE2426HS 24" IPS LCD FHD 144Hz FreeSync Monitor is a good monitor and though it's not a high-end monitor by any means, it is certainly good enough for everyday applications, and budget friendly. For basic usage - projects, documents, email, school etc., this monitor would get my recommendation.

This is the Dell 24-inch adjustable stand monitor. It comes with 2 HDMI ports, I couldn’t find a model number on the box anywhere, which I don’t love because I like looking up the specs first. Gives you the basics though, 21.2 wide, 23.8 diagonal, 8.3 thick, 19.2 tall. Open it face down with the flap up like it says on the box. Nice little slice with a blade and right away you got everything in there. A Phillips screwdriver but shaped like an Allen wrench so you get the leverage, some screws, an HDMI cable, the regular three-prong power. The monitor’s under a cardboard piece, you pull it out and rip the foam open like a candy wrapper, but instead of candy it’s a monitor, which is awesome, haha. It’s a VESA mount so it goes right on the back, four screws, then a thumb screw on the base, and the good thing is you can mount it while it’s still face down. Follow the instructions, it matters. I have to be honest though, this is the second monitor I’ve actually opened correctly. Not even my 45 inch curved behemoth was done properly so I implore you to read the instructions. Turn it on and bam, it’s a Dell, fires right up. It asks you the language first and then the input comes up after. The picture brightness looks a little low but I’m used to bright screens so that’s on me. You got your presets, standard warm cool and custom, and honestly custom looks closest to my calibrated screen if I’m eyeballing it. Right off the bat I went to bump the brightness and it warns you it’s gonna pull more power. I like that it tells you. Overall it’s beautiful. FHD so 1080p, color’s really good, and it’s 144Hz so everything moves buttery smooth, blacks hold up. The small icons aren’t gonna be as sharp as a 4K but other than that it looks great, and I love that the stand drops all the way down, maybe an inch and a half of clearance. Perfect office desk monitor. I got my S27 right next to it, been rocking that for years, and this is kind of like its younger cousin. I’m a sucker for how a computer feels when you’re physically maneuvering it, and even the cheaper Dell monitors have that premium feel. I’m just throwing this out there, but you see Dell screens running in bulk in serious setups for a reason. You can count on Dell, period. I really like this one guys. 10/10

Dell gets straight to the point. Do you need a beautiful FHD, that's going to look great in your office space? I've got'chu, Boo (as the kids say in the streets.), or at least, I think they'd say that. I'm also out of touch. Not when it comes to a really good 24" monitor, though. Desk-top or laptop, this screen integrates seamlessly, with a simple connection the included HDMI cable. Oh! I guess you'll want to know what comes inside the box. Wouldn't you? Here ya go. Upon opening the box, you're instantly greeted with your power source, and HDMI cable. The base for the adjustable stand (Yes. Up and down, to adjust to your eye placement.) and the screw kit, for easy installation. The holes, in the back, are placed perfectly for the optional floating stand you may want to go with (sold separately.) There are four buttons on the right undercarriage of the screen, right next the power button. So, you can call those 5 buttons. These are for setting up your preferable display, of course. Even though this monitor isn't specifically for gaming. You still are looking at a 144Hz FreeSync IPS LCD FHD screen with minimal bezels. So, you know you'll get some pretty visuals while gaming, if you choose to do so. However, I recommend video editing with this one but do with it what you will. The problem that I always bring up, is still yet to be addressed, but for the price and general use of this particular model, I should let it slide. That doesn't mean that I won't complain about it, though. Where are my integrated speakers? As a matter of fact. I don't even see a 3.5 mm jack. Again, this isn't a unit designed for entertainment purposes. Although, you can be entertained with it. This is for a PC. So, if you're looking for a screen for your console, you're gonna need to shell out a few extra tokens for that. In the end, I wanted to deduct points for the minor things that it's lacking, but truthfully, it does what it is totally designed to do, and you'll get extra depending on the PC that you're using it on.

Set up went fast and easy. Screen quality, refresh rate, and viewing angles all are as advertised, Happy with the product.

Monitor performs very well, and I am very pleased with the screen’s color quality and size. I rated it four stars because it does not include a Thunderbolt or USB-C connection.

I purchased these monitors for my home office, and they've been a great addition to my setup. The picture quality is clear, text is sharp, and they provide plenty of screen space for multitasking throughout the workday. They were easy to set up and look clean and professional on my desk. For the price, I’m very happy with the quality and performance, and they work perfectly for my daily work needs.

Very easy set up and plug and play with my Dell desktop and is just the right size. Colors are bright. I had to tone the white level a bit. The only problem I had was figuring out how to adjust the hieght. My wife found that for me.

Bought 2 of these and they look amazing! Great picture quality with no light bleeding on any of the edges. Attractive clean monitor. Purchased it based on the reviews and the reviews were right!

Great image quality, good refresh rate works for non FPS games, not very adjustable but great for the price.
