Very happy with the image quality I’m getting from this lens at this price point. Image stabilization works very well. It’s light and easy to carry on my xt1.

This lens was much cheaper than the other zoom lenses. It takes decent pictures, but has noticeable chromatic aberration when a photo is viewed full size. It is not too much of a problem for me as I don't usually leave the photos full size, and I am not a professional photographer trying to sell my work. $399 was much cheaper than the $1800 that the other zoom was. I'm not sure I would totally agree with the description, unless I just got a bad one..... "Capture distant subjects clearly"....."image stabilization delivers sharp images" Not quite in my book!

Overall good image quality for the price. This is probably one of the lenses that many Fuji shooter's overlook as a possibility if you're looking for a light, compact, yet long zoom lens. Not the fastest lens out there, and probably not good for indoors shooting, but great for nature, outdoors, and where there is plenty of available light. The only downside to this lens, despite it's very affordable price, is that it is made of plastic, so it might not be able to put up with being banged around too much, so it's probably not as durable as some of its more expensive siblings (like the 55-200 or 50-140), but if you're looking for a good budget zoom for your Fuji camera, this is certainly worth looking at and considering, especially given it's lower price point.

The lens was in incredible condition for being open box. It's image quality is very sharp for an entry-level Fujifilm telephoto lens. Though it's not a low-light lens, the O.I.S. makes up for handheld shots at slower shutter speeds. Despite being plastic, it's surprisingly light. I would highly recommend this for tripod users.

This is a good lens for the price. A little more expensive than comparable lenses from other systems. The performance is very good and you can take clear, nice pictures. It has optical image stabilization, a plastic mount, and a small aperture. The lens filter diameter is the same as the 18-55mm, which is 58mm, so these two lenses are a great pair. There is no aperture ring on the lens barrel, so you control the aperture via the camera's aperture control. I like it that way because I can control the camera with just my right hand, and I can avoid camera shake. The barrel is solid even when fully zoomed. All in all a very good lens!

I purchased this lens at BB while Fujifilm was offering a $100.00 instant rebate. For either $199 or 299 USD it is a very good lens. It has Fuji's 2nd Gen optical image stabilization and very decent glass once you get to the smaller apertures of f8 to f11 or smaller. It is a very slow lens at 230mm, just be aware. Fuji cameras offer excellent image quality at ISO 400 and depending on the case up to ISO 1600 which where a slow lens can take you. Again, for the regular retail and especially for the discounted price (Fuji seems to do this twice a year, it's over as of 8/5/2016) definitely a great buy!

Lots of zoom range on this camera, OIS works well too.

Very happy with the photos I’ve taken with this lens. Surprised by its sharpness throughout its range. Focus’s fairly fast in bright outdoors light and I’ve managed to get some very nice shots of birds and animals at distance.

Wonderful lens with robust construction and great optics. This is a nice option for someone who does not want to break their wallet by spending extra bucks on the more expensive XF option. The low light performance of this lens is great as well. This lens certainly ticked all the boxes for me. I have been using it for few months now and am completely happy with my purchase.

I was surprised at the sharpness and build quality of this lens. I wanted this for vacation shots and it gives some of my pro level lenses a run for the money around f8 aperture. My 8 by 10 inch enlargements are crisp in the details and I dont notice any loss of sharpness in the edges. I am very satisfied considering the cost of this lens.

Given that I do not use a telephoto frequently and that I do not like carrying a heavy lens when traveling or hiking, the cost and weight of this lens best fit my needs. I am only giving it 3 stars because, even though I generally use a small spot focus point, I find this lens is unreliable when zooming in toward the 200mm range. It also has more difficulty than I anticipated in quickly focusing in situations lacking bright light. We just traveled Alaska for two weeks--one week on a cruise ship and one week traveling inland. In looking at my photos taken during this trip, I find those taken on overcast/cloudy days and those at the 200mm range of the zoom did not consistently provide the clarity that I expected. However, I would still buy this lens again, given the alternatives that exist for the Fuji X-T2 camera. In the future, Although it's not perfect, relative to my expectations, I think this is a good lens given its light weight and low price.

This is a surprisingly nice lens for the Fuji X system. Yes, it is a slow kit lens, but its compact size and light weight compared to the larger Fuji zooms make it a useful addition to the kit. The construction is largely plastic so it won't be as durable as the metal zooms, but this is what allows the lens to be so small and light, which means you are more likely to take it with you. At least I am! The lens is best suited to non-moving, or slow-moving, subjects in good light. The OIS (stabilization) does not seem as strong as that in the 55-200mm and 50-140mm zooms, but it's there and is helpful for handholding at slow shutter speeds. I purchased this when it was on sale for $199, and believe the lens offers tremendous value at that price.

This is a good, affordable telephoto zoom lens that works well for distant shots. The zoom function is smooth and has great image stabilization.

Great lens but Didn’t even have a lens cap on it so the surface of the lens may of been damaged etc. I was not happy at all with this purchase

The lens mounts broke within a week of purchase. I had read on forums this is happening to many people. I took a vacation to Asia with this lens and now I cant do anything with them,
