First time playing a Xenoblade game. Im glad my friend recommended this game to me

I never had the chance to play this on the Wii. I am glad it was ported over to the switch for multiple reasons, but the primary being that it is now a portable game. Xenoblade Chronicles offers a moderately in depth aspect to a really easy to play storyline with a different feel. It has some great Character development and you can get lost in the sidequests for hours. Which leads to the only thing I do not like, that is the huge maps that you have to spend hours running across to complete the sidequests early on. But if you are looking for a time wasting post apocalyptic world to live in, Get this game! ESRB rating is Teen.

I literally bought this game like three days ago and you guys are discounted it now man I’m really disappointed in you guys should give me a refund and some money you charge me 60 bucks for this game now you’re charging me 30

It’s such a magnificent game. It may have originated on GameCube, but great design never looks obsolete.

Be careful to Just play a few hours Daily because the History is gonna turn so good.

Having played the Wii and 3DS versions previously, I'd say this is hands-down the best version. I'm not going to dive too deep into the actual story, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit. The characters are likable, the dialog is witty, and the game mechanics, while somewhat repetitive, are interesting and engaging. It's sort of like playing an MMO with the party mechanics. So far I've played further than the previous versions. This is due to the greatly updated graphics, animations, remastered soundtrack, additional content, and many quality-of-life improvements. This is quite a long game, so if you're willing to put in the time, I think you'll certainly be glad you did. Highly recommended for action RPG fans!

Great story, immersive world, amazing music and battle system everything you can ask for in a jrpg

Play the original on the Wii and while I enjoyed it, it wasn’t one of my favorites. Part of that might be I wasn’t a huge fan of the Wii motion controls in the first place and enjoy a more traditional control scheme. Purchased a sequel shortly after I got a switch light and found myself truly engrossed in the game. I love the story, the look, and the voice acting. I will admit that I am not a huge fan of the combat system as I like either direct control or turn-based.This hybrid auto attacking with inputs control scheme works well enough here as it did Similarly in light of the old republic. So, when this was announced I was very much looking forward to it. And it’s what I expected. A niceUpgrade to the original with a control Scheme more to my liking. Really good story, the graphics are nice if a little blocky and they really nailed the music and voice. A definite must buy for any fans of the original and actually any fan of good quality RPG ‘s. This is one of those series if they can keep their focus and give true world buildingAnd immersive storytelling to every entry this could easily turn out to be the next trails series.

The original Xenoblade Chronichles on the Wii is one of the most revered games of its respective era. Still I was hesitant to buy it on Switch due to my general distaste for RPGs. Not that I hate them, I'm a big fan of the Mario & Luigi RPGs, I'm just not a fan of the static turn-based combat found in most titles. However, when I found an excelent sale on top of having some limited-time coupons, I decided it was time to play it. I'm 55 hours in and only playing on casual mode, but I've really been enjoying the game. While the combat can be a bit repetitive at times, it allows for more dynamic approaches to battle than I expected, which is a pleasant surprise. The main pull for me, however, is the story itself. All the characters involved are likeable in their own respects, something not easily done, and I'm excited to see where the story will go from this point forward. This game has pleasantly surprised me and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good RPG to sink their time into.

I highly recommend Xenoblade Chronicles for anyone that enjoys RPG’s or games with incredible storytelling. I cannot commend this games story, characters, and music enough. However, I have no choice but to rate it four stars instead of five because of me being a little disappointed with how the graphical upgrades were handled. Don’t get me wrong, the game looks YEARS better than it did on the Wii, but it’s still not good enough for a 2020 game, and there’s no excuse as to why it runs it runs at such low resolutions. You don’t really notice the lower resolutions when the Switch is docked and playing on your TV, but when you play it portable mode, that’s when the game becomes an ugly, blurry mess. If you own a Switch Lite or use a regular Switch in portable mode a lot, just keep in mind that the game is gonna run at incredibly low resolutions. Play Xenoblade while your Switch is docked to your TV if you can so you can truly enjoy this incredible game.

Game is good, much better then the sequel and recommend it to anyone who enjoys RPGS. Best Buy email code took like 2 hours though so be aware that the emailing system is a bit finicky and in past experiences it would not email for hours then say their was an error or just not email anything

This game truly lives up to its title of being the definitive edition of Xenoblade Chronicles. The story and characters are well written and engaging. Not the mention the world itself is beautiful. Some of the side quests are still obnoxious, but the game now gives you a marker showing you exactly where to go which makes things so much easier than they used to be. Overall this is a great game both for returning fans and for people who missed out the first time this game was released.

Without being long winded, this game is fantastic. I'm REALLY feelin' it! The quality of life improvements over the original make the game shine, things like quest markers on the map make its literal thousands of side quests much more manageable. The combat is fluid, fun, and pretty to watch. And the environments...wow. The world is lush, expansive, and the colors just pop. The story is pretty fun as well. Buy it!

I've played all of the Xenoblade games so far and this is the best one. The story, graphics, music, and game play are all top notch. This game is massive too. It will take awhile to finish. The characters in this game are all really likeable. I have not played the extra content yet( saving that for when I complete the main game). I you like action rpgs you might like this one too.

Anyone who has enjoyed the other xenoblade games should try this one

Played this on the 3ds but never got around to finishing it. This is the version you want. Even if you've played before, you'll love this remaster. Looks so good and it's awesome being able to play on the go or the big screen. Environments are fun to explore, combat is fun, story is good. 10/10

This is a must buy for any fan of JRPGs. The story and combat are great. All of your party members in the game are great characters that you can play in a multitude of ways. The graphics in this remake are an amazing improvement on the original game; especially the character models.
