If you are trying to get a router or cable modem that works with Comcast then you really have very few choices unless you want to take a risk. This one was low risk because it is exactly the one that they use. The downside of this is it's not very good compared to other market routers.

This is the exact same model I had originally rented from Comcast. The box even says Xfinity on it. Setup required a call to Comcast and they had to resend the signal a couple of times before it worked, but the same thing happened when Comcast set up the rented one, so it was expected.

I purchased this for my Mom to avoid the leasing fee - she was very happy and although I find it very expensive it works great

Works just like the ones that come directly from Comcast. It was very easy to install.

Do not seem to have any issues. Best Buy was the only location that I was able to find something to work with Comcast set up besides renting from them.

This modem/router is sooo much better than what Comcast provides. Reception and signal are much better. It works flawlessly.

Works great. No problem setting it up. Don't have to pay the Comcast monthly rental fee. Should pay for itself in two years.

This is by far the modem for comcast I've ever owned. Works perfect, strong singal, wireless router, all in one. I love it

For years I have been renting my modem from Comcast. I purchased this modem at the recommendation of the salesperson at Best Buy and as it turns out it is the exact make and model of the modem that I was renting. While I have no problems with Best Buy and this product, I would like to caution other buyers that Comcast had a very difficult time installing this modem. I went through three technicians over the phone. Comcast finally had to send someone out to troubleshoot my situation.

Great modem and easy setup. Does what I need it to do and compatible with majority of my network. Better to purchase a modem vs paying a rental fee to comcast.

I purchased this cable modem to replace my older one and get rid of the rental fee from comcast. This one is fast, easy to setuo, and works exactly as described. I was up iand running in 5 minutes!

This was very easy to set up and seems to work well. It is also much nicer than my previous one so I am pleased.

This all in one modem/router works well. Have had no issues, no need to reboot and it's nice that you don't have to have two pieces of hardware. The size is compact, not too tall and it's thin so it fits inconspicuously in small places. The range is great, so far so good.

I bought the Xfinity - Arris Touchstone because it is both a Modem and a Wireless Router. It is at a good price.

My dad referred me to Best Buy to buy this modem. It was simple to order it online and set up. No complaints here!

After trying to get two other modern and routers, this one finally got me back online. Talked to three different sales associates and got three different recommendations on what I needed. Finally bought this based on friends reviews and what my cable provider installs.
