this modem is compatible with Xfinity/Comcast services, however, firefox keeps crashing. xfinity techs swore up and down that they do not sell their modems at any store yet I bought ths Xfinity Modem at Best Buy.

This is the exact modem Comcast rents to subscribers for $10 per month ( new increased rate effective 1/15) Set up was easy ....and the call to Comcast was quick to have them activate a new signal. Entire set up took about 15 minutes. Will recoup the cost of the new modem in about 20 months.. Well worth it, as I am sure Comcast will increase the monthly aren't again before that.

Bought for my mom so she didn't have to keep paying rental fees. Direct replacement or the rental modem. Easy.

I purchased this Modem and Wireless Router to replace what Comcast was renting to me for $10/month. I could have bought several modems over the years with what I paid to rent one from Comcast. Best Buy recently got this particular one in as I have a combined service package and needed more than just a simple modem. It is working as well as the one I was renting. I also feel good that I now own it and it will be current for some time as this is the newest type available.

Easy to set up and works like a charm. A little bigger than I expected, but just what I needed for triple play.

The modem purchased replaced the rented Comcast/Xfinity modem I was using. The installation was easy and I have not experienced problems. I really like not having to pay 10 bucks a month to rent a modem. This one will pay for itself in rental savings in less than 2 years. Once I verified this product had no issues, others in my family also purchased one for the same rent saving reason.

This is the same modem router that the Comcast guy gave me. It's meant to be used for Triple Play subscribers. However, I do not get my promised internet speeds.

This router is the same one that Comcast will rent to you. Save some money and buy it yourself. It works great

This router/modem was very easy to install. A good product. A little expensive compared to other products. However, it does have a telephone adapter.

Purchase a modem or rent from Comcast (Xfinity). It will take me 2 years to come out even. So I am not sure that renting isn't a better deal. In two years I could get a new modem from Comcast. I researched the modem I would need to add telephone to my Comcast bundle. This is the only one. I have a great router already (Netgear Nighthawk) so didn't want the router, plus saw some unfavorable reviews. I set this modem up as a bridge. So far I am happy. The phone is working great. My internet is reliable and fast. I did research amazon and newegg for best price. Best Buy was the best price, plus the advantage of picking up at the store within a day.

It works well and met my expectations. The only drawback is the price.

The modem works great, it was easy to install. It has some pretty good speeds and works as a great replacement instead of paying the monthly to AT&T.

The router is really good quality, great signal. The only issue is that the product is way too expensive.

This is the standard Xfinity docsis 3.0 modem that comes standard with xfinity. The inbuilt wifi router is not upto par. Got it to be used with 150mbps blast speeds but the router didn't support it. Used it with my Apple AirPort Extreme and it is all good.

Purchased for my Mother-in-Law. Quite simple to install and will save $$ over leasing from cable company.

Set it and forget it! Exact same one infinity leases, If you purchase one you will save that monthly fee!

It's pretty simple. I had to get a wireless router cuz I chose not to pay $9 to rent the device from xfinity cuz that adds up. I'm going to be straight forward with. You know the quality based on the price it costs. I've been really satisfied with it.
