Purchased Arris Touchstone Docsis 3.0 Cable Modem and Wireless Router with Telephony Adapter at Best Buy to replace rented Comcast modem. It was easy to install and has been very reliable. Best Buy's store personnel guided me through the selection and Comcast's support was excellent too.

Works as good or even better than the one we rented from Xfinity. It's nice to save the rental fees.

This is a great product for Comcast customers who have the triple play package and use 2 land line phones. It is a quick wireless modem. Sleek and professional. Worth the buy vs. continued rental.

Bought this Aris model to save myself 10 dollar rental of Comcast modem. The only shortcoming or point I don't like is. The model that Comcast will rent you has a dual band wifi, 2.4 and 5 mhz. You cannot buy that model in a store that I could find. So this model only has the 2.4 mhz. I'm not sure if that is a shortcoming or not. But I ended up buying a new Linksys wireless router with dual bands. both together seem to work great.

We needed a cable modem that also had the ability for the cable telephone service. This one works wonderfully! We have the nighthawk wireless router with it and they are a dream together!! Very pleased that we switched all our services to cable and have saved a ton of money!

Set up out of the box was quick and painless. Topughest part was returning the rented unit to Comcast

Set up was quite easy with tech support from cable company. Once set up and running, found that wifi broadcast was not strong enough to meet my needs. After bridging the modem and connecting a wifi router, wifi much stronger. Overall good modem !

Since it was the only modem/router with telephone adapter to use with Xfinity, it was our only choice. Easy to set up and good enough speed.

Very pleased with this modem for Xfinity. No more rental fee, so it definitely pays for itself!!

As with outer reviews I bridge this with a outside router for my wireless wifi. This unite is work ok and the main reason I bought this was to stop giving the cable company free money.

Easy setup. Eliminates rental charges from Comcast--that's great to save money on your monthly bill.

I corrected the weak WiFi problem, with an WiFi Extender from Linksys. The Linksys item or model number is "RE4000W".

I set this up in about 10 minutes and it worked perfectly. I haven't had any problems with it!

This item works real well and is easy to install and use.

Started out with a used Arris modem off ebay. Started losing connection almost every other week. after using it for two years with no issues. Decided to buy this Xfinity Arrris modem from Best Buy, connections has been rock solid. It cost but it will pay for itself in time instead paying that monthly rental fee. The old modem served it's purpose and got the value and then some out it, but very happy with this modem.

Was with Century link and it was always down. Now i got speed and internet. A night and day!!!!!
