I purchased this product to get Comcast services without having to pay Comcast $10/month. in 20 months I'll be paying its cost to Comcast, so I decided to buy it.

I initiated the purchase of this item to extinguish the monthly fee I have been paying my ISP for 7 years. My ISP sells their modems through Best Buy. After over an hour of tech support on the phone w/my ISP to "hook me up", the modem still did not work. An ISP tech came to the house a few days later and discovered the landline portion of the modem was working but the Internet portion was not. So I had to return the modem, waiting another 6 days. The replacement worked this time. For the value, it is pricey, and I wish I had gotten one earlier. I have to wait 1.5 years before it pays for itself. I value Best Buy products and their Return policy was well worth the trouble of replacing the defective product.

Piece of cake to set up and works like a charm with my new Comcast system.

Works great with Xfinity Comcast service and home phone.

Well have to get this if you move over to Comcast phone as far as a wireless router it good for about 15 feet and transfers file quickly . Make it so you don't have to pay the rental fee for the router.

I was disappointed the battery did not come with it.

Easy to install and set up in less than an hour. Not as fast as the one that I replaced from Xfinity, but worth the $10/month savings by not leasing equipment. Also this one is not a dual band router.

Gives a stable signal, haven't had to reset it after 2 months of use, delivers xfinity voice service. Spendy but not many options for xfinity voice.

Has more features than I need, but serves purpose.

Allows me to save money and not rent from Comcast.

Switched internet providers, and not wanting to lease the modem from Comcast bought my own. As it turns out this is a better one than the one originally supplied by Comcast. If switching to Comcast package deal with phone service make sure that the modem is also capable of handling VOIP!

I got tired of paying the rental fee on my cable modem. Brought this new home and hooked it up 1-2-3. No problem.

Have used it for 3 months and absolutely no issues. Good coverage everywhere in the house and on my deck.

Very good modem with capability for 2 phone lines.

Nice and convenient. Plugged it in and followed the easy 3 Step installation process. Within about 10 minutes I was online. Most of that time was waiting for the xfinity to activate the service.
