I guess it's kind of hard to review a modem w/o a comparative, or without really knowing if any service issues are due to the service provider, the speed of the internet or the modem's capabilities! I switched from AT&T Uverse to Xfinity and opted to purchase this modem outright vs paying Comcast every month to rent one. I was told this was the only one that's designed for the Triple Play package. It seems to work fine so far though I have noticed my internet connectivity seems slower, but again, that's probably due to my internet speed more so than the modem.

Works great, have had no issues. Identical to what XFINITY uses. Save costs of renting. Recoup cost in a year.

Only option for Comcast customers with telephone service. Beats renting from Comcast. Works well, easy to set up and connect devices. Only real complaint is the manual doesn't explain what the lights mean on the back where the Ethernet cables are connected. It took some research before I found out that the amber solid light where our TV is connected meant connection with 100 Mbps/ 10 Mbps port connected. The LG UH7700 is working fine with this connection.

I think someone returned the unit I bought as new since I wasn't able to install it due to previous registration according to Comcast installer. It's a good unit since the rental I was forced to get is the same and it's not only fast but can support 26 wifi devices I have at home.

I/d recommend this router to my friends for the excellent reception I noticed in my laptop , and tablets

It works just fine, I would like it to have its own program to scan nearby WiFi channels and automatically change mine to the least used channel.

I haven't have any Connectivity issues. The only thing that I would change is the size for a smaller one

Very easy to install. Was able to hook up in less than 5 minutes!!!

This unit works just like the Comcast rental but will end up saving money in the long run

This cable modem and wireless router are perfect for combining components without losing quality or efficiency. I was happy to pay up front to finally get rid of the ridiculous monthly fee from Comcast. The setup was a piece of cake and I haven't had any issues at all.

Reasonably easy to set, maintains good signal strength & as yet no outages. Happy with the purchase

Installed by our Comcast rep. He said this was an older version and that is why our wireless signal is not up to par. Get the newer one!

Get a great signal throughout the house. Modem/Wifi device is located in center of a 2000 sf house.

have been looking for modems to fit my needs and this unit had what i needed. Many others with the same features were way over priced.

This updates our router. It's faster and range is increased,

i kept buying modems and routers separately 2-3 years; still have periods of needed reset almost daily. This brand of combined beats all the others for reliability and full use of band width. Worth the cost for no hassle downtime during work activities.

This modem/router is the only one that worked with our phone line. We still needed a stronger router to reach areas on our 2nd floor.

Use this product with my phone and computer through Comcast.
