I bought this cable modem to replace one that I was renting from XFINITY and it performs as expected.

So far so good. Got warranty on it just in case something goes bad.

We replaced the two units with one which seems to work much better.

I was tired of renting a modem from Comcast and decided to purchase one. Best decision I've made! My internet is really fast and when I stream there are no interruptions!

I opened the box and followed the clear and simple enough instructions. This was up and running in minutes on the first try. No problems. It even has 2 wifi connections available and has 2 phone jacks. Highly recommend.

Using the Xfinity recommended device has ended disconnects after using the other high end modems and routers. It is very reliable and has strong wi-fi signal throughout all rooms of my ranch house with many walls.

When I subscribed to Xfinity, I was happy to learn that I could buy the modem rather than rent it from them. It is working perfectly and is the exact same one that I would have to pay $10 a month to rent from Xfinity.

This is the same modem that I have been renting from Comcast for $10 per month. There are not many choices in a cable modem with telephony. My modem has worked perfectly since I installed it and I highly recommend it.

While the WiFi part is not very good, it does the job! I was more excited not to pay Comcast for renting such a device! I will be investing in a separate WiFi router, but still worth the investment not to hand more money over to Comcast! This is the only router on the market with a phone jack if you have the triple play. Not really any other option!

Bought this modem/router combo on the advice of the Comcast agent when I signed up, and with the assistance of the clerk at the store. Very stable so far - and I'm happy to get the speeds that cable internet gives.

I have had no problems hooking this up. I did call comcast to let them know that I am using my own modem and that I didn't want to use the wireless router option with this modem (the router i had already gave a good enough signal). I don't have to pay that extra annoying fee now on my bill. This pays for itself. It is good to know when the new models will come out of course, so I suggest you talk to a best buy representative before purchase.
