I purchased this so I wouldn't have to rent a modem from Comcast. After installing I called Comcast to get it provisioned and working fine. I am not using the Wifi portion of this modem as i have my our Netgear Nighthawk router. Be sure and have Comcast diable the wifi portion of this modem if you too are not using the wifi features.

this is a ok router not the best but ok only range is ok but not the best i think only router with a telephone port but woul get another one if another company sell one with telephone

Set it up, runs as it should, runs my phone and my internet. All my devices run smoothly.

Needed an extra modem for our multi story house. The xFinity Arris was the right choice.

The modem worked flawessly for 2 weeks. Since then, it's been workimg inconsistently. I called the geek squad who had me perform a reset which worked for about 4 days. I had to manually connect 3 days ago and it has been working since. Next time it stops working, I will return and fortunately I purchased an extended warranty. Since I rented the same modem from Comcast and it worked fine, I guess I may have a lemon. I've owned it for less than 5 weeks. When it works, it is great and saves me $10 per month off my cable bill.

I bought this to replace the comcast provided router/modem. It was expensive but pays for itself with avoiding the 2 years of rental fees you get with a 2 yr contract with comcast. It covers phone and internet which not all modems cover. As far as I can tell it is either exactly the same as comcast's modem/router or something extremely similar. Our internet speed is unchanged as far as we can tell.

We didn't want to pay the monthly lease fee through Comcast so this was the best one to buy because we needed phone hook up, too. It was moderately difficult to set up and required over 2 hours of time. There weren't many options.

I recommend going for a better newer model with the latest technology. Sometimes trying to save a few $ will end up going back to the store and exchanging the item for a beer model.

This modem is a good replacement for rented modem except that it does not meet the newest Wifi standard (ac). This limitation was not an issue for me as I have a far superior Netgear router to distribute Wifi throughout the house..

My old router always needed reset. This one works great and I never need to reset.

Picked this modem so I didn't have to pay a monthly fee to Comcast. Modem works great.

This modem worked perfectly as a replacement for the Comcast modem i was renting.

Fast and dependable. Exactly what Xfinity needed to hook up. I am getting 120 mbps.

INSTALL WAS EASY AND WORKS FINE. IT WILL PLAY FOR ITSELF IN LIEU OF RENTING FROM COMCAST
