I had been renting a modem for years when comcast told me it had become obsolete. i bought this and I'm save the $10.00 monthly rental fee.

the modem was installed with any issue .it was activated by Comcast within 10 minutes . the wifi was easy to set up as well. I love my product, the signal strength is very good . this will save me money in the long term

Xfinity sent a notice that I needed an upgrade and this item was at the top of their list. It was easy to install and the password is both solid and easy to memorize at the same time. Its signal strength is not nearly as strong as my old Belkin so I have to keep going to settings on many of my wireless devices to have them re-hunt for it. None of this is the fault of Best Buy and I got excellent service when I went in-store to shop for it

This product is a "no brainer" for customers who bundle a network service package; that is, cable, Internet, and telephone. In just a few months, I will now be earning money instead of giving a rental fee to a company to use their "older" product. A win, win for me. I am also not a "techie" person. As a female, age 67, I found it easy to install when following the directions inside the product's box.

This is a solid modem, and using it definitely beats paying Comcast $10/month for renting theirs...

This modem has worked very well. My only complaint is that it was expensive, much more than other modems, but appears to be a quality product.

I needed this modem/router for connection with Comcast and it was a good purchase instead of making monthly rental payment to Comcast.

I bought this new modem router to replace a refurbished one that had many problems. This solved my problems with lost signal connections etc. I will not buy another refurbished model again. I think all they do is get a used router and resale without fixing them.

Great unit thats was to set up and use. Don't like the size and fact that its same unit cable companu would give you. It is quick thou.

This is the same model cable company provides, a little pricey, and sometimes seems to knock you off internet for no apparent reason.

There is considerable savings over time in owning my modem with telephone continuous service capability during power outage. I have to buy the battery now anyway , so why not own the modem. Good business sense!

It worked without any problem hooked up set up and boom browsing i even did not have to call xfinity so far so good working great.

its exactly the same telephony modem that comcast leases out. Do your self a favor and buy it. its a great modem and pays for itself in 20 months. if you have comcast voice that is your only choice for a modem. i am glad that best buy finally started selling them.

This works fine with my internet needs. Easy to set up. Have had it for almost 2 years and still going strong. I was debating between leasing one with the internet provider for $10/month, but purchasing this saved me the additional cost.

Not much to say, it worked as I expected it would. Easy setup and appreciate no longer being beholden to Comcast for a 10 dollar rental charge for their modem. I wish I had made the purchase a year ago.

I would buy instead of renting. It works well with Comcast

This is the worst internet gateway product i've owned. I have had other wireless products in the past and they all worked great but this xfinity gives the poorest signal. I only have 1600 sq feet of home and it barely stretches across my living room. Very unhappy.

We bought this item because we have Comcast triple pay and wanted to eliminate paying their monthly fee, but this moden/router only works well for the computer that is next to it. I do not get good signal two rooms away and had to purchase a wifi expander in order for my Chromecast to work. I am not too happy with this uniy.

Easy to install. Clear instructions. Best alternative to paying monthly rental fees. Good for those who also have with telephone service through Comcast
