XFX Raw II
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very good card for the price. The fans are very quiet under most operations, when the card does reach higher temps the fans do get rather loud (vacuum cleaner loud). It had no trouble playing games, drivers 19.11.3 were stable and had no crashing/stuttering/black screens. I can recommend this card to anyone on a budget. If you are limited to purchasing through best buy, this card or the XFX Thicc 3 Ultra are the best options available. If you can buy elsewhere go with a Sapphire Nitro Pulse, Power color Red Devil or Gigabyte 5700xt. All of these options provide better cooling than the Raw II.

Good GPU for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love this GPU, it can basically all my games in ultra settings/max. However, you cant really run it in 4k, but for the price of this GPU, you should know that. I currently tuned the fans because it does get really hot when you are playing a demanding game. For example, running Far Cry 5 (New Dawn) in ultra setting and 144hz monitor runs the GPU temperature to 80 degree (roughly) out the box when playing for more than 3hrs. However, you can lower the temperature by adjusting the fan speed. Also, the fans a extremely loud when it goes around 3000rpm but that is reasonable so its okay, just put on a headphone and you cant hear anything xD Other things: if youre considering this GPU, I'm assuming you're spending a few bucks, so you should really look into the air circulation (cooling) and also the size of your motherboard and so on because I'm using a mini atx, and its freakin huge. Bottom Line: if you're looking into this GPU, you should really research if youre okay with how loud it gets and the temperature being pretty high compare to other high end GPU. But at the same time, this is really great price for what it can perform.

Just Say No
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this card and paired it up with a stock Ryzen 3600 and 24GB of DDR 3200. Let's just say the raw power of this card is just insane. I was gaming at 4k medium setting and was hitting FPS. That's the good part. The bad part. This card runs hotter than the sun, and then some. Out of the box, the fan curse was non-exisitent. I used my own fan curve and quickly found out that I needed it to be far more aggressive. With more tweaks, the lowest fan speed was at 30% and that kept the card idling at around 50c. When you start loading this card up though it will hit 85/90/95c easily, and that's with the fan going full pelt at 100%. Loud is an understatement. It's the loudest card I have ever heard in my life. The junction was always sitting at around 100/105c too. Just insanely hot. It's not the noise, and the worry about it spontaneously combusting just isn't worth it. Also, Radeons Adrenaline software is good, but there were so many errors. Game after game crashed on me. I am sure that with a little more time the navi chips will be great, but seriously poor optimization means you should just walk right past this card. I picked up the EVGA 2070 Super and games that were hitting 90c on the XFX were barely hitting 62c on the NVIDIA Card. Just save a little while longer and get an NVIDIA card.

Cheap, Hot, Loud
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to build an all AMD PC for the first time. I have used XFX graphic cards in the past and they performed okay in a desk top environment, and I never used them for heavy gaming. There were not too many reviews to go on for this purchase, but I did see that they had another 5700 XT that wasn't making great reviews. The few reviews that I did see said this was a beefy and heavy card and I guessed that this one might be better. When I first installed this card it felt beefy and it was heavy but the shroud feels like flimsy plastic. After using it for 2 weeks and started to play more games it gets really hot. Like 90+ Degrees C hot and I suspect that it has caused some of my games to freeze up already after 20 - 30 minutes of play. I have read that 90 C is okay for these cards, but I have my doubts. I have 8 case fans and case ambient temp is only 40 Degrees C. And my AIO cooled CPU runs about the same. This card just runs hot and might be the cause for game freezing. When the XFX card fans are running the case fans are twice as loud now. I may return this and give up on AMD graphics cards again. Pros: It's and AMD 5700 XT Cons: Loud, Hot Temps. Final thought: It may be that the 5700 XT just runs too hot for anyone to change ?

One hot boi
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this card for about a month now. Originally I was using 1660 super and was looking for a cheaper upgrade. Stumbled on this baby and decided to try again with AMD. (Started with an rx570). I have it paired with a Ryzen 3600 and Tomahawk Max B450 MB. I can say this card runs a high settings on the following games averaging 100+ fps: Gears 4 & 5 Hyper Scape Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (Not sure if this is just warzone but maybe after several hrs of gameplay, frames would drop -40 and go back up.) This card is WIDE, I legit thought it was not going to fit on my NZXT case. The material built around feels kinda cheap but who is going to tell. It also gets really hot and I feel it through the tempered glass. Apparently this is normal for these cards but I could be wrong. Pretty happy with purchase so far.

Runs games very well! And Hot!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card runs a little bit faster than a AMD RX 5700 XT reference card. So you’re getting a little more value with this card than one you would purchase from AMD. But there is one catch.... it runs really hot, and I mean it. Luckily there are solutions for this. 1.) Undervolting the GPU, and increasing its memory clock seems to help with its temperatures. For some reason, this card comes over volted. By undervolting and increasing its memory clock, you get lower temps and don’t lose out on performance! 2.) the fan curve on this is ridiculous. The fan is set to rotate once the card reaches a high temp! By changing this to make the fan run at lower temps, you’ll end up with lower temperatures overall! All in all. It’s a great card for your value, and it’ll run games at 1080p high to very high detail for current games, and I’m confident it’ll run that way for games in the next 3 years or so.

From Rx580 Armor 8gb oc to Rx 5700
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you can make flight simulator look good on a budget cpu, you got a nice GPU. 17-24fps 4k on flight simulator. 79c at most. I was concerned about 2k, easily doing 60 fps on my 4k TV on 2k21. Was easy to install. If you have issues switching your GPU, boot up windows 10 with GPU UNATTACHED, then when windows is up, plug in GPU.

User interface 10/10 Game performance 9.5/10 Value 100/10 Only downside is the fans get a bit loud however I havnt seen it get over 72 degrees. Runs warzone at 128.7 on High

Great GPU
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to setup if you have a newer system. Problematic if you have an older system. AMD Drivers are not very robust . The GPU is very fast and very cool. Works great for Gaming at a much cheaper price than Nvidia GPUs in this price range. The XT model runs a bit hotter than the non-XT, 5700GPU, but still works well for gaming.

It doesn't get any better for the price point...
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was back and forth between this, the Nvidia 2060 Super, and the 2070. I ultimately got this one when it went on sale for $369.99 during the BF/Cyber Monday week. I don't regret my decision one bit. I was playing Forza 4 Horizon at a steady 60FPS on my LG SK9000 at 4k and the card barely hit 90% duty cycle. If you want to push max settings at 1440P for most titles out there, this is definitely the card you want. Make sure you get the AMD Adrenaline software which allows you to under/over volt the GPU/VRAM and adjust the fan curves it comes with (The unit likes to run toasty). Also the two free games and Xbox live game pass was a nice touch. Thank you, Best Buy!

Great upper-mid range card but use stable drivers
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great card so far, I have always used AMD Radeon chips and have found the 5700 xt to be a great performing card. Been using it for playing 4k games and the FPS can range anywhere from 40 fps to over 100 fps depending on game. Have not seen it overheat even when playing demanding games. Just be sure to use the stable-recommended AMD graphics drivers. Do not use the latest ones as I have had games crash with the most recent. I am very happy with this card as the performance it can output at it's price is an amazing deal. Cannot comment on overclocking since it's not something I do with my hardware.

Great card for 1440p gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Raw 2 5700xt is in my opinion one of the best priced high/mid range gpu. Its a great AIB card thermals are way better than stock 5700xt blower card and it does it while being much more quiet. Its performance is in close to a Rtx 2070 super but its 100 dollars cheaper. Its also cheaper for a good 1440p/144hz monitor with AMD freesync than Nvidia gsync, and Ryzen is also a great price to performance platform for gamers, so all in all chosing this card was a easy choice

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.*I can’t give to great a review. I went from a 1gb 10+ year old graphics card* The card is great! I’ve noticed no noise, the fans rarely kick on, so I’m unsure as to whether or not this is a timed cooling system, which kicks on if it gets too hot. Of course this beauty runs my games with absolutely no issue. There’s two cons I’ve noticed IMMEDIATELY, however. The first con being how absolutely massive this is. I needed to unplug every single piece of hardware from my PSU, just to get it in. In addition to this I need to actually turn it at an angle to fit it into my mid tower, which is pretty large. The second con is the wires to actually power this beautiful beast. The wires were maybe three to four inches long, which is in NO capacity long enough to plug into my PSU. Luckily I had more wires handy. If you can overlook those two cons, I would recommend purchasing this Graphics Card.

Great card!!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card performs great at stock settings and even better with a simple change to fan curve, and it never gets too loud. I had owned the MSI 5700 Mech OC before this card. That card also worked great but it the fans were much louder and the card ran harder to stay cooler. The MSI variant at load would produce noise mimicking a small vacuum cleaner hiding inside my case, this card at full load is barely half of that noise. I swapped that for this card and have had not thermal issues since.

Big Hot One
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a good card with some major downsides. The card runs very loud and hot. FPS could be a little better. I am probably going to take it back in a month or so and get a NVIDIA RTX 3080 or RTX 3070 if available.

1440p60 at the Right Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to upgrade from a GTX 1060 in order to run Battlefield V and Borderlands 3 at high settings on a new 1440p (60Hz) monitor. But NVIDIA's prices for the RTX 2070 Super made me sick to my stomach, so I decided on the comparable Radeon RX 5700 XT. I had originally intended to wait for the Sapphire Nitro+ version of this card, which reviewers seem to fawn over based on its build quality and thermal performance, but this was in store, less expensive, and still performs very well thermally. I can hear the fans when its running, but they don't interfere with gameplay or being able to talk in the room. XFX has done a good job with the aesthetics on this - I don't care for too much RGB. Overall AMD has got a winner with the RX 5700 XT!

Great card for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.excellent card for the price. I purchased this card as well as the MSI - MECH OC AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Graphics Card - Black Out of the two this one runs better. The other card i've had constant problems and will be taking it back. One thing to keep in mind is how wide this card is. Depending on your case and how many slots you have this could be a problem for some.

Big but quiet
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card barely fit in my case. I'm fairly new to good graphics, so I was really excited to try it out. My biggest beef is that it only has one HDMI port and both my monitors are HDMI. I haven't yet had any luck with the hdmi of the motherboard. The software for this card has been a little troublesome in windows as regular clicking sometimes wont work, but it does break down the stats and temps. Got 60-100FPS

At the Right Price a Very good 5700xt
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really don't know why this card gets a bad wrap. We all know the people with "issues" with the 5700xt well here is my experience & so far not a single issue. My RIG Ryzen 7 2700x Asus Rog Strix x470 Board 32GB G.Skill PC3600 Sammy 970pro m.2 SSD XFX Raw ii 5700xt OCZ 850w Power Supply (The KEY) This card went right into my rig, Uninstalled my rx580 & all software, rebooted, then ran DDU and rebooted again. Put in the Raw II loaded the newest drivers & I was off. Right into Warzone and man was it a difference. 150FPS average & smooth as silk. Here's what I don't get I see everyone says this card runs hot??? Well at 55% Custom Max Fan In Warzone the hottest is got was 73 & 87 Junction temp in 3 hours (Adrenaline app). When the game was in Menus it was more like 55c/55c. Even MORE impressive is it was only drawling 188w in game. Now my case is not loaded with fans but it is set up neat & I do have a lot of exhaust fans. This card surprised me & the fact I was able to use my Bday 10% off coupon made this even a better deal. Now if you put this card into a Janky case, with a crappy PSU, Mobo, & Proc I bet you will have problems which people say "plague" the 5700xt. If you are putting this card in a good rig with a LEGIT PSU 700w min I'm pretty sure you are getting a very good, lower power drawling 5700xt which is EXACTLY what I wanted.

Impressive 1440p
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The performance blows away the 2060 Super I was so happily using. Used the very small switch next to the power cables to use the normal/less power hungry setting and used MSI afterburner for undervolt gpu and custom fan curve (got the undervolt value from amd adrenaline software and works flawlessly). This is a very easy process therefore it will not take away from this card review rating. Did not notice performance drop and temps are kept nicely in the low 70degC with fan about 60%. Fan noise is easy to ignore with game sound. This card tells me that RTX cards are charging for the RTX hardware. How can this card be just below $399 and blow the 2060 super out of the water is impressive. Is not close at all. I did not overclock, bios flash or anything other than unboxing and plugging in. I did clean my Nvidia drivers before installing AMD drivers. Zero issues thus far. Once game load is off temperature drops immediately to 50DegC which means the cooling solution here is excellent. Idle is in the low 40sDegC with fans off. Im surprised this specific card is not more popular among youtubers, maybe is a pr thing. Highly recommended, no compromises. PS: The codes included in this card’s bundle are legit. I got 3 months of Game Pass PC, Monster Hunter World with the Iceborne Expansion and Resident Evil 3.
