I think part of the issue is the curved screen of the phone, and part of it was how difficult it was to apply to the screen and then remove any bubbles. It was so thick, it wouldn't budge after being applied.

This is a pretty flimsy plastic sheet that wasn't too hard to apply, but it really will only protect against scratches on the screen. It has absolutely no other shatter-like protections, which is what I was expecting.
