Curved screens seem to have stumped manufacturers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to everything else out there this may be one of your best options. So why the 2 stars? I think a company like Zagg who charges a fortune for their products and probably still turns a profit on their "free" warranty replacements by charging $6-$10 to send you an envelope should be able to solve the dilemma posed by curved screens. First, if you have a Note with a stylus, you need glass. Based on all the negative reviews of their glass curve I wasn't about to drop $50 on one of those. This film type is ok, but the S pen just doesn't glide like it does on glass, and leaves little lines etched into your protector, although they do heal over time. I would probably give this thing 4 stars if the trade off was perfect adhesion to the curved portion of the screen, but even after carefully studying the instructions and having installed many of these before with success I couldn't get the edges to stay down perfectly. Close, but no cigar. Lastly, the protector comes with a gel pad adhesive primer that you have to wipe on the protector before installation, but there is no recommendation as to how to do this. Does it need to be saturated? Do I need to apply the protector right after the primer or wait a certain period of time? I searched all the install videos on the website and couldn't find one with this exact type of application. I'll probably bite the bullet and try the Whitestone Dome Glass. Come on Zagg! You're supposed to be the leader. Figure out the curved screen dilemma!

Try something else!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Zagg - InvisibleSHIELD "hd clear" for the Galaxy Note 8 is by far the absolute WORST screen protector I have ever purchased. After some questionable result with "Tempered Glass" I opted to try the film application. This is just a PARTIAL list of experiences with this product. Everyone followed Zagg's instructions first before resorting to alternative methods. • Purchased 1st from local Best Buy for $25. -I installed - FAILED instantly. Edges WON'T adhere to screen. Ordered warranty replacement. • Purchased 2nd from local Best Buy (couldn't take chances while waiting for my warranty replacement). This time I paid for in-store installation by Geek Squad. -First Rep - FAILED in first attempt. -Second Rep -Used a new one from the shelf - FAILED They didn't really know what to say because they hadn't seen this seen something like this yet, they apologized and refunded me. •Warranty replacement arrived from Zagg. -Had a local IT employee give it a shot - FAILED! He even taped the edges forcing the film to conform and they still lifted up after a few minutes. •Contacted Zagg support regarding these experiences and suggested that maybe it was just a bad batch. I told them I DID NOT want another one. After 4 Invisible Shields installed by 4 different people, I had to try a different brand. They didn't even respond, they just mailed me another one anyway - FAILED! lol In the last decade of dealing with screen protectors and electronics, I've never encountered anything quite like this.

Zagg is awesome, but this shield is lacking
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a user of Zagg for every equipment i have home, ranging from wiiU, to every cell phone in the house iphones and droids, to my Samsung S2 pad. I have always recommended the product to all my family and friends. But this shield has fallen short. I use the defender case for my Note 8, and the shield is just too short on the sides, where it does not lie below the line of the case. So what happens is when i slide left or right to view my sidebar, it runs over the edge of the shield. I have only had it two days and it is already irritating me, because the shield is starting to lift. The corners do not lay flat, and I constantly have to push them down. This shield will not work for me. May work for lower profile cases, but i need ultimate protection, and i will not budge on the case. If it were a bit wider that it would lay underneath the edge of the case, then it would work great. I will have to look at another brand on this one, and that makes me feel like a traitor.

Great for the flat, not the curves
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a customer of Zagg's for 10 years now and have had an invisishield on each of my devices and they've been awesome. I just got my note 8 and while the protector "fits", it doesn't stay down on the edges where it curves. Eventually I'll just get the glass one, I just needed this until the glass is available.

Waste of Money- Does Not Work with Curved Screen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have always used Zagg screen protectors on my phones. Just picked up the Note 8 and had Best Buy install the Zagg InvisibleShield HD Film / Plastic Screen protector. I watched the install and it appeared perfect. I left the phone off and untouched for a full 24 hours. After light use on the second day, the edges of the protector started to peel up. After 2 days of light use, the edges peeled to the point that I had to remove the screen protector. Went back to Best Buy and was informed that the item is non returnable and to contact Zagg for a warranty replacement. Do not waste your money on this product. IT DOES NOT STAY ADHERED TO THE EDGES OF THE NOTE 8 CURVED SCREEN.

The edges peel up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the geek squad guys install it and the edges peel up, if you buy watch out for that. I have to have them do it again.. But still its a $1,000 phone, I wouldnt roll without it

Clear and touch still works, lifts up on edges
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This item is transparent and doesn't distort the images on the screen which is great. The edges of the protector kept coming up along the curved edges of the screen. Really frustrating.

Sides Keep Lifting
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Application was easy, bubbles gone withing 48 hours. Only issue is that the sides keep lifting. Have tried using a blow dryer to help the adhesion but no dice. Going to apply for the Zagg replacement via the warranty as I know that Best Buy will not take it back because they consider it a consumable item.

Pretty crummy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had 2 of these, both installed by Best Buy. Neither will stay stuck at the edges. Reviews of the tempered glass one are fairly abysmal, so I don't know what options are left. You'd think curved edge screens have been around long enough that they'd have figured out the screen protectors by now.

Edge issues

Very poor protector.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This screen protector has a great warranty and Zagg will replace it if there are problems under their warranty. I read and followed the instructions to put the screen on my phone. The protector does not adhere to the curved screen. Buy a different screen protector.

Not a good quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought one from Best Buy today. I thought this would be a very good screen protector for my new Note 8 phone. Unfortunately, It turned out it was a lousy one. The product might be good but the instruction was confusing. I basically messed up with the label "111" and the "yellow" sheet . It was a very expensive waste.
