This movie is an awesome cartoon for both kids and adults. Now in 4K resolution and Steelbook packaging is a bonus.

This movie surprised me. The sorry, the cast, the animation. All were top notch. So thoroughly enjoyed this film.

When I went to see this film, I expected it to be good. I expected the usual Disney "talking animal" movie, some fun moments, and pretty animation. What I did not expect was a story that deals with some very uncomfortable truths about our world, brilliantly told in a way that anyone can understand and that are woven into the plot, rather than beating you over the head with the message. I did not expect such a wonderful, strong, well written female lead. I did not expect the main characters to not have a forced, shoehorned in romantic subplot. Everything about this movie is wonderful, from the animation to the voices to the music to the story to the messages. I did not expect to so completely love the main characters, who are so well written and fully realized that when the movie's tearjerker moments hit you they don't feel forced because you really believe these characters. Judy dealing with her latent mistrust of foxes, Nick dealing with society's view of foxes, and how both of these characters overcome their past trauma and grow is fantastic and some of the best character writing I've seen in a major release. I can't possibly say enough good things about this movie. If I DO have a negative, it's that from now on all animated movies (and most live action ones) will fall short of this film's strengths.

Haven’t watched this yet but figured I would pick it up being that it was 4K and seemed like a great movie.

I'm so happy to own this movie with a steelbook! It's an excellent movie with great picture quality in 4K.

Zootopia was another great family movie to enjoy with the grandchildren. Had a lot of laughs while watching

First time trailer : Huh!! another animation form Disney.I'm not gonna watch it For Sure! After my friend take me to see it : Wow! it was one of my best animation of Disney i have ever see in my entire life. The Story: about Judy Hopps. A rabbit that want to be a cop that have to break the wall of prejudice that cop is for only for a big and strong animal by find out about missing mammals case with a natural enemy Nick wilde. The tricky fox but they find out that it not a normal missing case but it way bigger. Great Thing:They success to break the wall between the difference of religious/color/gender and more. Wow they can use this tropic in kid movies after fail in tomorrow land (2015).it make story more softly by change human social into animal social that have predator and prey.in this social they think predator is a bad guy and make social in chaos but in the deep heart good/bad doesn't count on what it look like but it count on what inside of your self. Conclusion; Heart-melt , Hopefully ,friendship,Very impress ending and 5 tickets for watching and Love Judy.One of my memorable character in my entire life. Love the artwork and the colors really pop. This is also one of my favorites. Can't wait to see it in 4K.

Find movie for both parents and kids alike. Only one drawback that I know, this film needed more of the sloth .

This is another great disney steelbook. The artwork is awesome and the the 4k transfer is really pretty!

I have watched this movie several times. By myself and with all of the kids and grandkids around. Everyone (including me) really likes it; with one exception. That exception being the scene at the Department of Motor Vehicles. In all of my years of going to test and pick-up my vehicle operators permit (motor or not); I have never experienced ANY vehicle licensing department that moves at this rate of speed. (I'm taking across the span of time from my (two horse) grey marble carved (B.C.) Chariot license to my current hit the curb, cut them off and take more than one handicapped spot (A.D.) license). The sloths were moving at a rate of speed that even snails would envy. Perhaps this was done in order to shorten the movie by a few hours and prevent my copy from becoming a (4) disc set. ;o) In all seriousness, though doesn't this place an unfair expectation on people who take this movie to heart and think that the wait times have improved? My current permit expires this October; I think I'll get in line on Monday of next week, so that I can get a new one before the current one goes out of date. :o) WELL WORTH THE PRICE OF ADMISSION, Subtle, funny, humor throughout. Get it, Watch it and you will feel better about things.

This is a very fun Disney movie. The 4K picture is amazing (Dolby Vision or HDR) and Dolby Atmos sound is awesome. It is still enjoyable even if you do not have a sound system to take advantage of the Atmos. For parents and age appropriateness for kids please read below. There are some minimum spoilers. There is one scene that has bullying of a young Nick Wilde in it. Parents may need to skip this scene for younger viewers. We let our son see this movie on a plane ride to a trip to Disney world and he did not like the bullying scene. We have watched the movie again and he wanted us to skip the bullying scene. We talked about the bullying scene with him; parents beware you may need to do the same. This movie should be ok for kids 6+ but that bullying scene may be too much for younger kids. The scene occurs when Nick and Judy Hopps are on the Sky Trams after the scene in the rain forest district, in case you want/need to skip it.

I did not expect the best Disney movie since Lilo and Stitch, and easily my favorite since Wall-E. If you haven't seen this movie before during its theatrical run, you definitely owe it to yourself to watch this if you're a fan of Disney or animation in general, or just want a good, fun movie with a pretty decent message that doesn't get all preachy about it. For those that don't know, it's basically a buddy cop movie with animals, though it plays around with the fact that these are various species coexisting and uses a lot of it as metaphors for various prejudices. It's great for the kids, and is still entertaining for the adults, with quite a few jokes that would fly over the young'uns' heads. It even dips into some somewhat dark and even scary material at times, so if you've got some really young ones, you might want to watch it with them; it's not rated PG for nothing. Still, it's Disney, so it's nothing really objectionable. As far as the quality of the blu-ray goes, it looks great on my flat-screen; I don't think you'll have any issues there. I still have yet to check out the special features, so I can't comment on those, but considering I got the combo pack that includes both the dvd and blu-ray versions, I say it's a pretty good deal at $20, if it's still being sold for that amount.

A bunny becomes a cop in Zootopia. Through a series of adventures Officer Judy Hopps along with a reluctant scam-artist fox named Nick Wilde solve a crime mystery. Along the way they meet some very funny characters. Give it a shot!

This movie had very nice content with nice animation rendered in HDR and amazing sound quality

Bought this, along with Good Dinosaur, for my son's 3rd birthday, and we all fell in love with it. Having a 3 year old means a LOT of repetition; when they find something they like, it becomes the center of their entertainment for a VERY LONG TIME... Luckily, Zootopia makes all those re-watches bearable. There's always something happening, a joke, something in the background that keeps you looking, even if it's the 5th time watching it in the past 3 days. And that's precisely why Zootopia didn't grate on my nerves as quickly as Good Dinosaur. Zootopia's world is hustling and bustling; happenings in the background are sometimes just as funny as things at the center of action- Good Dinosaur's world is often vastly barren, with no distractions for a keen eye. It makes a world of difference for parents... And above that, it's just a great film. With smart, funny writing, great voice acting, a world of animals, and some really fun characters, where both Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde come across as two main characters rather than one becoming a sidekick, Zootopia has become possibly my favorite of my son's films, even with classics like Cars, Shrek, Ice Age, and others in the library.
